The hotel is nice,people are friendly and it’s well situated. The only reason I gave it a 4 star and not 5 is cause the have a sofa bed and the mattress is terrible I know that most sofa beds are bad but this one was terrible. I could feel the metal bars in the bed.

Great place, good price, good location, free parking, and the best alternative to high priced New Haven hotels. Everything worked. There’s a safety hazard in new Hampton rooms. An iron bar with hooks is at eye level above a built in luggage rack. I hit my head on the bar/hooks while bending over to get something. It could have been a serious whack. There’s a multiplex in back of the hotel if you want to see a movie on a proper screen.

They didn't have a variety of breakfast, only had fried/boiled eggs etc but no home fries. It wasn't quite filling
