Located in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo) this is a great place to stay if you are planning on going to visit Machu Picchu, it is a 1 hour 30 minute hike to the park entrance, the bus to park is less then 5 minutes away, the hotel itself is clean cold water in sink hot water shower, breakfast is served every day from 6am till 9am before that 4am to 6am you can request bag lunch, there are several restaurants nearby, it is located about 1/4 mile up hill from town square the village it self is lovely many markets and shops. I went in the middle of June and the weather was very good. The hot springs and waterfall entrance is a 7 minute walk. ticket office to Machu Picchu is less then 5minutes away must go day before for tickets.

An excellent hotel located less than 10 minutes walk from plaza de Armas in a very lively area. Breakfast excellent! Rooms spacious and hot powerful shower which was a bonus. All staff friend and welcoming. We were able to store our luggage at checkout for free while we visited Machu Piccu. I highly reccomend!

We were greeted at the train station, and they walked us to the hotel. They were very friendly. In our room there was a swan sculpture with fresh roses! I loved everything about this place and wish I had booked more time there.

The manager of the hotel did an excellent job in making us as at home of our stay. The breakfast is excellent and free for us. They immediately send to our room what we requested. Their location is so close to both train station and to the bus station to Machu Picchu, they even offer free luggage storage when check out so you can go to Machu Picchu hands free! They served us hot water for tea! The very moving part is the owner send us off in person to the train station. Moved us in tears! Very family style! We will back again to visit our family in this hotel and off course also unforgettable great Machu Picchu!

Bueno sitio para alojarse en Aguascalientes. Habitación bonita y cómoda. Agua caliente 24 h y calefacción. Te esperan en la estación y te acompañan sin coste. Te guardan el equipaje para Machu Picchu y te preparan desayuno para que te lleves si subes temprano. El único "pero" es el baño, muy pequeño y no traga al tirar la cadena. Pero es un mal menor. Volvería a alojarme sin duda.

Henry, the manager, was fantastic! Room was clean. Check in/check out was a breeze. Breakfast was simply amazing! And they held our bags for us while we went to Machu Picchu after check out. Would absolutely stay again and recommend this place to anyone.

Great stay, the rooms are comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very attentive. We were able to store our luggage at checkout for free while we visited Machu Piccu. I highly reccomend!

Would definitely recommend people to stay in this hotel while visiting Aguas Calientes. I stayed here for one night. Clean rooms and washrooms. They have breakfast included in your stay (which most of the hotels in Aguas Calientes do). They have storage rooms for the luggage after your check out.

A lovely and quaint spot in Aguas Calientes! Hot water 24/7, which is not always guaranteed in the town. Wonderfully comfortable beds, which is a must after a full day exploring or hiking Machu Picchu, heated rooms, and a very amiable staff. They also offer pick up service from the train station! I will definitely be back.

Hôtel très bien situé, très propre et personnel avenant. La chambre est joliment décorée, il y a un radiateur, nous avons beaucoup aimé cet hôtel. Le seul petit bémol mais comme partout au Pérou peut être le bruit des voisins.

My stay here was amazing! The hosts were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms seemed to be newly renovated and the shower was amazing! The owner even packed me a boxed lunch for my early start the next morning. I will be back next time I come to Aguas Calientes!

Convenient property for one night but because it is tucked into a side street, everything is kind of damp and sticky and never dries out, towels and socks included. It did the trick and the staff was awesome and they packed us takeaway breakfast. But the hallway was always kind of loud so pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

For the price is excellent! Very close to everything, the breakfast was delicious and a lot. Our room smell a bit musty but we did not mind because it was going to be only for two night.

I only stayed one night here and it was an okay experience. This is a small hotel so one stay was enough. This is a local hotel and not one that Americans or others may feel would be comfortable for longer stays for the whole family. No live TV but instead apps for your streaming subscriptions. Rooms a bit cool despite heating. You can hear through the walls. I would recommend this hotel if you are coming to Machu Pichu late at night and will be hiking early in the morning. Breakfast service was very good but the cook was also the same person that checked us in so again it's a small hotel. Overall experience was okay for a one night stay.

The staff was excellent, friendly, accommodating and happy. There where a few minor issues when we arrived but they were soon addressed to my satisfaction. Comfy beds, hot shower, good wifi. Centrally located, a short walk from the train station and near dozens of restaurants, shops and bars. A good value.

The room was large and spacious. The shower was excellent The receptionist (owner?) was very nice and friendly They were able to pack us a breakfast for an early start and stored our luggage The little road leading to the hotel looks a bit sad but other than that no complaints

The staff is friendly and helpful, if planning a trip to Machu Pichu is a great location. Walk to bus and train station and to numerous restaurants and shops. The best is that you are in the middle of it all but yet it is tucked away for piece and quiet at night. Best shower, lots of water pressure and hot, apparently a concern at other places. The hotel had Netflix, nice helpful staff, and a good bathroom. The only challenge was it was easy to hear other people in hotel and those outside, which unfortunately were loud at like 2 or 4 am.

Super sentral, very friendly staff,great breakfast, best shower so far. My only complain is to little electric outlets and how loud it is. If someone is in the hallway or outside the hotel it feels like they are in the room with you. Nothing my earplugs didn't fix, but I would bring that. Other than that, everything was great.

We stayed 5 nights at Vilas Insight Hotel and it was great! Robertina and Juan were personable, friendly, and provided exceptional service! They even gave thoughtful recommendations when we asked. We are a family of five so finding a hotel that had three beds in one room was a challenge, I was so happy to find Vilas Insight. We were totally ok to pay the extra fee for the two kids additional occupancy in the one room. Our stay was even better than expected. The room and hotel was very clean, brekfast was delicious and hearty, they provided more than just bread, coffee, and tea. We had family staying in another boutique hotel and Vilas Insight was a much better experience overall, cleaner and nicer. Highly recommend Vilas Insight and we’d return.

The manager of the hotel did an excellent job in making us as at home of our stay. The breakfast is excellent and free for us. They immediately send to our room what we requested. Their location is so close to both train station and to the bus station to Machu Picchu, they even offer free luggage storage when check out so you can go to Machu Picchu hands free! They served us hot water for tea! The very moving part is the owner send us off in person to the train station. Moved us in tears! Very family style! We will back again to visit our family in this hotel and off course also unforgettable great Machu Picchu!

Henry, the manager, was fantastic! Room was clean. Check in/check out was a breeze. Breakfast was simply amazing! And they held our bags for us while we went to Machu Picchu after check out. Would absolutely stay again and recommend this place to anyone.

Great stay, the rooms are comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very attentive. We were able to store our luggage at checkout for free while we visited Machu Piccu. I highly reccomend!

Would definitely recommend people to stay in this hotel while visiting Aguas Calientes. I stayed here for one night. Clean rooms and washrooms. They have breakfast included in your stay (which most of the hotels in Aguas Calientes do). They have storage rooms for the luggage after your check out.

Super sentral, very friendly staff,great breakfast, best shower so far. My only complain is to little electric outlets and how loud it is. If someone is in the hallway or outside the hotel it feels like they are in the room with you. Nothing my earplugs didn't fix, but I would bring that. Other than that, everything was great.

Located in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo) this is a great place to stay if you are planning on going to visit Machu Picchu, it is a 1 hour 30 minute hike to the park entrance, the bus to park is less then 5 minutes away, the hotel itself is clean cold water in sink hot water shower, breakfast is served every day from 6am till 9am before that 4am to 6am you can request bag lunch, there are several restaurants nearby, it is located about 1/4 mile up hill from town square the village it self is lovely many markets and shops. I went in the middle of June and the weather was very good. The hot springs and waterfall entrance is a 7 minute walk. ticket office to Machu Picchu is less then 5minutes away must go day before for tickets.

The staff was excellent, friendly, accommodating and happy. There where a few minor issues when we arrived but they were soon addressed to my satisfaction. Comfy beds, hot shower, good wifi. Centrally located, a short walk from the train station and near dozens of restaurants, shops and bars. A good value.

The best is that you are in the middle of it all but yet it is tucked away for piece and quiet at night. Best shower, lots of water pressure and hot, apparently a concern at other places. Good breakfast as well which is included.

My stay here was amazing! The hosts were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms seemed to be newly renovated and the shower was amazing! The owner even packed me a boxed lunch for my early start the next morning. I will be back next time I come to Aguas Calientes!

The staff was so incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The hotel was very well kept and clean. Breakfast was included. We had coffee, fresh fruit, avacados, pastries and bread, quinoa pancakes and eggs fresh cooked. The service was wonderful

Hotel au calme, en retrait de la rue commerçante. Lits confortables, eau chaude à volonté. Personnel accueillant et aidant. Seul petit bemol : le service pour le petit déjeuner est très lent il faut vraiment compter 30 minutes incompressible pour avoir les différents plats du petit déjeuner (assiette de fruits, assiette avec les oeufs puis assiette avec les pancakes).

An excellent hotel located less than 10 minutes walk from plaza de Armas in a very lively area. Breakfast excellent! Rooms spacious and hot powerful shower which was a bonus. All staff friend and welcoming. We were able to store our luggage at checkout for free while we visited Machu Piccu. I highly reccomend!

For the price is excellent! Very close to everything, the breakfast was delicious and a lot. Our room smell a bit musty but we did not mind because it was going to be only for two night.

The room was clean and equipped with towels, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo. The staff were very kind and communicative. Free luggage storage and breakfast was included. I wasn't a huge fan of the breakfast (I got a fruit plate with a hair in it).

Box breakfast provided was not good. Fruit was not fresh and the bread was the cheapest bread one could buy. My advice is to upgrade these box lunches because for many it is the last impression of the hotel.

Not worth the cost. The room was small and the bathroom was even smaller. You could barely move around the bathroom without bumping into the wall or counter. There was no airflow so the room was hot. We were only staying 1 night, before visiting Machu Picchu.

Good room with a comfortable bed and close to many restaurants. However the windows that look out to the hallways allow light and sound from all the other rooms to disturb you. There are better hotels at this price in Aguas Calientes if you want one where you will be able to sleep. Also breakfast was very limited.

Good option for a short stay in Aguas Calientes. It’s walking distance to the Machu Picchu bus stop, but a little hard to find since it’s at the end of an uphill alley. I recommend downloading Google Maps beforehand since we lost cell service when we arrived. The Wi-Fi was good and the room was functional but felt dated. There’s no phone in the room, so you have to go to the front desk if you need anything. Some rooms, including ours, have a window facing the hallway, so noise can carry in. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it could be if the floor were busy. Omar at the front desk was amazing and really made the stay better. They let us check in early since our room was ready, helped us arrange a Machu Picchu guide, and prepared a to-go breakfast bag when we couldn’t stay for breakfast. Another huge plus was being able to use the spacious breakfast area after checkout. We had to work for a while, so having a comfortable space with good Wi-Fi was very helpful. Overall, a practical 3-star hotel with excellent service.
