시설 좋음, 하지만 무료 식음료 라운지가 좀 약함. 다과, 술 같은 약간의 서비스 필요. 2000엔짜리 술 마시는 체험 신청했는데 종교적인 의미가 들어가 있어서(불의 신에게 술을 바침) 좀 불쾌했음. 하지만 뷰는 좋았음. 음식도 아주 괜찮았음

Essendo due persone anziane, abbiamo fatto richiesta di avere una stanza più facilmente accessibile ma senza risultato. Anche perché la proposta dell'hotel di cambiare stanza è arrivata dopo che si erano già disfatti i bagagli e sistemato le nostre cose inĺ camera. Altra cosa che ci ha spiacevolmente colpito è l'assoluta mancanza di un'alternativa alla colazione giapponese. Ora noi eravamo pienamente consapevoli del tipo di ospitalità alberghiera ma ci saremmo aspettati un po' di flessibilità sulla colazione. In fondo, un caffè, con pane tostato burro e marmellata un succo di frutta non ci pareva una richiesta impossibile da soddisfare.

Room onsen tub was small, food is terrible (except for the milk pudding for dessert). There is a rotten moat that bred mosquitos and were landing on our window. No bars, facilities, amenities etc...

Beautiful location, very comfortable room with an onsen in your bathroom. The private open air onsen is wonderful, one of the most peaceful moments of our trip. The hotel is architecturally gorgeous and the way it blends with nature is stunning. Food is ok, there’s only one restaurant and you have to book breakfast and dinner - otherwise you have to walk to get something to eat as there’s nothing the kitchen can prepare which I find a bit disappointing after several hours traveling and feeling super tired. Dinner was great although for tourists not used to the style there could have been an explanation of the set menu which I found out later there were many dishes I was allergic to and couldn’t change. Overall is a nice hotel for a one night stay but given above preparation is needed.

Essendo due persone anziane, abbiamo fatto richiesta di avere una stanza più facilmente accessibile ma senza risultato. Anche perché la proposta dell'hotel di cambiare stanza è arrivata dopo che si erano già disfatti i bagagli e sistemato le nostre cose inĺ camera. Altra cosa che ci ha spiacevolmente colpito è l'assoluta mancanza di un'alternativa alla colazione giapponese. Ora noi eravamo pienamente consapevoli del tipo di ospitalità alberghiera ma ci saremmo aspettati un po' di flessibilità sulla colazione. In fondo, un caffè, con pane tostato burro e marmellata un succo di frutta non ci pareva una richiesta impossibile da soddisfare.

There are a lot of guests for the small number of common areas available, so you rarely feel you have space to yourself. The indoor onsen is also open to day use visitors who are not staying at the hotel, which meant it was crowded every single time we tried to use it. Being unable to properly enjoy the main bath at a ryokan of this level was a real disappointment. The fireplace lounge can be reserved privately and closed off entirely. During our stay a group had booked it, so we had no access at all to one of the very few shared spaces on the property. This is an impressive place in terms of architecture and atmosphere. But if you are coming for exclusivity and tranquility, that is not what the stay delivers.
