The Lakeview Inn & Cottages

We stayed in the Inn. The view from the porch was gorgeous. The inn had great outdoor seating and was conveniently located near restaurants and a few stores. Shared bathroom, which was no big deal and the price was unbeatable!

Everything overall was good no real complaints except was not wild about sharing a bathroom with other guests. I wish that was more up front when booking

We were looking for a quiet getaway for 2 nights on our way to our Labor Day weekend family gathering. This was a perfect stop for us! The beautiful old building was clean, the room we had was perfect for our needs, and the property was well maintained. Jan, one of the owners was a perfect host! There was a bowl of apples and oranges on the table in the coffee area, and homemade muffins every morning. Jan was very responsive prior to us arriving as well as while we were there. The view of the lake was breathtaking from the gorgeous covered porch, and we spent quite a bit of time there exhaling from all the major projects we've been working on at home. We will definitely go again!

The property is a gem and walking distance from the lake and all the shops and activities. The rooms are clean, the staff was super nice and helpful and it was just a pleasant experience overall!

Everything was awesome! Great view and location. Friendly and helpful owner. The only drawback for me was sharing a bath with others. The cleanliness in the bathroom and the shower, which was in a separate but nearby spot from the toilet, was pristine. Still, I was uncomfortable with that situation.
