Pool and hot tub out of service. Toilet ran constantly...got snow and they did ice their sidewalks til late. All 3 suitcase trolleys broken. "Free breakfast"..no eggs ..no sausage just 1 kind of very small pastries and pancakes to make yourself.

The small room was clean which was great! The entrance doors to the hotel were not functioning which were quite difficult to open but not sure how long this problem was occurring. It was difficult to figure out how to set to thermostat in the room and every noise could be heard by other guests. The continental breakfast was ok and the coffee bar was good.

The bed was comfortable and the hotel was pretty quiet although the walls are thin. The pool is warm but small and could use cleaning and/or re-surfacing. There were only a few breakfast options and we found that the ice machines weren’t working. It was fine for the night and we would stay again.

So pool and hotub were both closed and did not know until check in. The breakfast was horrible pancake machine and cereal were your choices. Multiple visits from the local police due to other unruly guests. At one point the police had to break a door down to apprehend someone.

The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. The fan in the room didn't work so they moved us without any issues. Unfortunately the pool/hot tub were closed. There wasn't notification on hotels.com about this so it was disappointing.

We were disappointed that the hot tub was not working still. It’s been a long time. I think if they don’t want a pool and hot tub anymore they should take it off the website. We paid more because we thought they had one. Breakfast is mid. No protein served. Not even a boiled egg. Very plain Jane. Clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable so no complaints there.

We were disappointed that the hot tub was not working still. It’s been a long time. I think if they don’t want a pool and hot tub anymore they should take it off the website. The hotel was a little rundown, and the room was not clean. There were stains on bedding. We had to take the top cover off the bed completely because it was dirty and the skirt on the bed had white stains on it. There were fingerprints on the headboard area and the couch on the windowsill look very worn down and not clean. There was a cobweb above our light by the TV and I found a bug on the mattress. I said a prayer and went to bed.

I have stayed 4 times know and the 4th time the hotel is just smelly. the 2 times before were not good. One room had toenails all over and the 3 time the room stunk to bad and the bed had so much dog hair in it I could have mad my own dog.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room needed some attention to detail in the cleaning process. The bed skirts were dirty and the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed between the beds. The bathroom had toiletries from the previous occupant left in the shower.

At check-in, the first thing the clerk said to me was "whatever it is that you want, the answer is no." She thought it was very funny, then called me honey for the remainder of our conversation. After we checked in, we ended up canceling our reservation after one minute in our room which wreaked of mold and mildew. The person at the desk was good about the cancellation.

Rooms need attention, first room was not acceptable, second room was not as bad. Very dirty carpet , looks like it wasn’t vacuumed for a week. The shower curtain needs replaced. The room was not very clean Dirty Towels behind the door. Finger nail or toe nails left on the carpet. Kids hand prints all over the windows.Bathroom door knob was put on backwards so door would not close until you twisted the knob and brought the latch back in than it closed.

Room was NOT clean - everything about the room looked run down (paint, banquet chair as a chair). Breakfast was toast and pancakes, and coffee/tea. Bathroom was not clean. One small shampoo/conditioner.

We had a nice stay here; the property was clean and well kept and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A couple of things that may have made our stay a bit better: 1. The coffee maker in the room did not have a pot/carafe to actually make coffee in. We appreciated the coffee at the continental breakfast but still found it strange that the coffee maker in the room wasn't actually usable. 2. The card keys to get into the room didn't work half the time. Had to swipe them over and over and over multiple times before they would unlock the door. Sometimes they just never worked and we had to go to the front desk. A fairly minor thing, but still an inconvenience. 3. The window in the room did not close/lock properly, so it got quite cold in the room at night and whistled loudly when it was windy outside. Also was a bit concerning re: security, it felt like it would not have taken much effort for someone to get through the window if they wanted to (we were on the main floor). 4. One of the mattresses/bed skirts had a gross brown stain on it; the bed sheets were clean, but it still kind of grossed us out. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay and would have no concerns staying there again. For the price, we were quite happy.

Would have been 5 stars, but the tv in our jacuzzi suite was super tiny. (24" maybe?) And the shower head was very outdated. The water pressure was aweful. The noise was also pretty loud, but no fault of the hotel. Jusy noisey upstairs people. Overall, decdnt for the price.

It\'s all in the name, "Micro". Smallest hotel room i have EVER stayed in, worse than a cardboard box. No one around for check in, had to phone for someone to show up, and they came from outside the building. Not friendly at all. Free breakfast was very basic, no meat options, ok for vegetarians i guess. About as basic as you can get. We were supposed to stay a second night but decided it was best to leave and get home late at night then spend another night there. NEVER ANOTHER "MICRO".

Needs to be more sound proof, can hear those next door to you talking or their tv on & can hear people above your room walking around especially if they have heavy feet! For a newer hotel it is very annoying to hear others in their rooms.

We were very disappointed in this location. Upon arrival we were informed the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance and were told “we should have known already.” I wouldn’t have booked if I had. They ran out of pancake mix on Friday morning. No one was around or at the desk to manage the breakfast area. Eventually another visitor tracked down a cleaning staff who searched for the desk clerk. She in turn threw a container of frozen pancakes on the top of the microwave and rudely told an elderly gentleman how to use the microwave if he wanted them. The remainder of the muffins and toast were extremely limited and not refilled/monitored. Throughout our 4 night stay, clerks were only at the desk in the evening. Otherwise you had to search. Sometimes there was a note where to find them but mostly not. Comforters were stained and the rooms were worn down. We opt not to stay at high end locations but simply want a location that has good service, clean and matches their description. This is not it.

It did not start off very well at all. There was a customer trying to check in and they had issues. There were multiple people in line and the other worker just stood in the back and stared at everyone. This work ethic did not change the next day when I saw someone waiting at the front desk and the desk clerk was in the back playing on their phone and would not help them. I stood there for a little bit to watch. After about 5 minutes they finally decided to help the person at the desk. The room had a very bad smell and it was easy to see that the room was not overly clean in general. Walls seemed thin as it was very noisy at all hours. Fast forward to check out. Immediately upon returning home I realized that we had forgotten some items in the room. A couple clothing items and a more expensive electronic. I called the hotel every day for three days. They kept saying they would contact the housekeeper and get back to me, they never did. Finally on day five when I called they said they did not have anything. I told them that I did not have any expectation that they pay for the item, but I was concerned about the fact that they have an employee that steals. They did not seem at all concerned about it. I asked to speak to the manager, again to let her know that they have an employee that steals. Again, my fault for forgetting it. No intentions of trying to get them to pay me for it. The manager refused to return my calls to discuss.

Immediately upon returning home I realized that we had forgotten some items in the room. A couple clothing items and a more expensive electronic. I called the hotel every day for three days. They kept saying they would contact the housekeeper and get back to me, they never did. Finally on day five when I called they said they did not have anything. I told them that I did not have any expectation that they pay for the item, but I was concerned about the fact that they have an employee that steals. They did not seem at all concerned about it. I asked to speak to the manager, again to let her know that they have an employee that steals. Again, my fault for forgetting it. No intentions of trying to get them to pay me for it. The manager refused to return my calls to discuss.

At check-in, the first thing the clerk said to me was "whatever it is that you want, the answer is no." She thought it was very funny, then called me honey for the remainder of our conversation. After we checked in, we ended up canceling our reservation after one minute in our room which wreaked of mold and mildew. The person at the desk was good about the cancellation.

Afternoon staff didn’t care about her job. She actually utter under her breath she hated her job. She also told us if we had any problems to wait until after 11 pm to report them because she would be gone. She also gave me the wrong room ( single bed instead of 2 beds) she told me it was because the staff didn’t clean enough rooms.. will not stay there again!!!

Their computer system was down when we arrived so they had to manually check us in. Late in the evening, someone was given the same room as us and actually entered our room while we were in it. It is obvious that the hotel was understaffed. The staff that were there were friendly and did what they could, but often had to leave the front desk unmanned to do other duties.

We had a few issues with transportation from airport and then with a vehicle that wouldn’t start during our stay. Brandie and Ashley went above and beyond to help us with anything that they could to help us out! Thankyou so much girls! We will be back!

Ashley at the front desk was amazing, along with all other staff! They have a fenced dog park which is also awesome for anyone travelling with pets! Very happy with this stay.

Location was good. Registration was a nightmare. Upon arriving I was informed I did not have a reservation even tho I had preregistration the day before. They had used my information and given the room to a Lyn Roth, no relation, simply the same last name, and had cancelled the room she had reserved. We were then informed they had a room available but they would need to register us using another credit card and name so the lady I was traveling with registered using her husband’s credit card. I was assured I would not be charged for the room!! Wrong, I have 2 charges on my card for the room, my friend has been charged for the room and after many attempts over the last week I have gotten absolutely nowhere with resolving this. Numerous phone calls and messages left with the general manager have resulted in no contact with her!!

Pros—across the street from Walmart and a short drive to the mall, restaurants, etc. Gas station 1/2 block away. Quiet and seemingly safe—no issues over 3 days. Has sugar free syrup and hot chocolate at breakfast. Our shower (maybe all) was super powerful! A/C was nice and cold. Cons: hottub and pool out of order which is why we booked that one. Fridge froze our veggies. Side notes: Breakfast options: toast, muffins/dainishes, pancakes, oranges, apples, yogurt, cereal and porridge. Coffee, Tea, Juice.

Pool and hot tub out of service. Toilet ran constantly...got snow and they did ice their sidewalks til late. All 3 suitcase trolleys broken. "Free breakfast"..no eggs ..no sausage just 1 kind of very small pastries and pancakes to make yourself.

Continental breakfast is bad… very few options, it’s just bad. If you want a decent breakfast at your hotel, book elsewhere. Elevator floor was covered with something sticky at 5:00pm and it was still there at 8:00am the next morning, front desk staff were aware of the issue. Vending machine had few options with many empty spots, and what was there was visibly expired, some with expiry dates in early July, Microtel you can do better. Property is getting a little tired, in our shower/tub the paint was beginning to peel, it doesn’t look very good. Positives: Beds are comfortable, location is quiet, front desk staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a good location. Close to Walmart and a few restaurants. I have stayed here a number of times before, will likely return again but hope to see a few minor improvements, especially the things I mentioned above.

We were disappointed that the hot tub was not working still. It’s been a long time. I think if they don’t want a pool and hot tub anymore they should take it off the website. We paid more because we thought they had one. Breakfast is mid. No protein served. Not even a boiled egg. Very plain Jane. Clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable so no complaints there.

We came to Minot for Hostfest so the hotel was close to the event and easy to get to. Breakfast was good and there was quite a bit of variety. Staff was very helpful!!

Check in was pretty quick, so fast I didn't remember most of what clerk said because she was quick with the rundown of the info. Vending machine was not working at the time on the third floor, which made it difficult for refreshment accessibility. The little fridge was handy and the closet had hangers and a good iron. The morning continental breakfast was a big let down. There were two small danishes left, two little yogurts left, I did not see any bread at all for toast. They did have a griddle for waffles, and two pieces of fruit. It appeared that they did have some coffee carafes, I did not attempt to even try. I left the breakfast area immediately and went to another place for breakfast. The bed was comfy, the cooler was working. You could hear kids running down the hallway, and people stomping on the the floor above us. Bring earphones or earplugs for a good nights rest if you are a light sleeper.
