Room was clean and comfortable with good parking. Breakfast was not up to a decent standard. Coffee lukewarm, few utensils available certainly could use some improvement

The Inn is definitely dated! It was one of the most reasonably priced accommodations in the area for what we needed for two adults and 2 bikes for a week's stay. However, upon entering our room, I tried to open the plantation shutters and one of the slats broke! The room had a kitchenette and the pots and pans looked horrible and I would never use. The refrigerator shut, but the door stuck out, the light bulbs were of different wattage, and there was no dish soap at the kitchen sink, just hand soap. The amenities were sparse, and the free breakfast really only consisted of coffee-the other items were limited and nothing I would really want to eat. All in all, it was "what I paid for" in the sense that it was the most reasonably priced, but even so, as the price I paid, I did expect a bit more. It would take very little to make this Inn more pleasant and a good value for the money.

We were told at check-in that we don’t have a reservation. We pulled out the Hotel.com app and the staff member immediately walked away. Another person showed up and checked us in without speaking to us. This stay was in between stays in Seattle and the San Juan islands so we were not planning to stay very long. The room was more of an apartment with 2 rooms and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs was a living room and kitchen. Not at all what we booked. The stairs leading the bedrooms were rickety and loose. The room was “clean” but still felt dirty. Almost like it was cleaned a long time ago and we were the first people to stay. I booked the first place I saw with decent reviews. Looking back I see the reviews were from several years ago.

The room appeared to be not cleaned recently. 1. There were splashes on the mirror in the bathroom 2. The light over the shower was out which made it a bit iffy when maneuvering around without light 3. 1 of the 3 bulbs was out over the sink in the bathroom 4. The wine glasses on the table were dirty 5. All surfaces were untidy 6. The paper for TV instructions was weathered as if it had been used 10 times 7. The papers the coffee cups were on had been used before 8. The overall feel was the room was unclean!!! 9. The front desk windows were filthy with handprints on Sunday and when I left Wednesday they were still filthy 10. I am not sure how this hotel received an 8.9, in my opinion a 3.0 would be the highest rating I would give this hotel

Visible ant traps everywhere, no ants. Unclean bathroom plunger. Non working fridge w unattached door. Small cube fridge that froze everything. Hair dryer w dirty filter. Working fireplace and AC. Hotel staff (2 teenagers) mostly absent, but nice enough when we saw them. Breakfast provided but very skimpy. 3 toast for 5 guests, 1 yogurt, 3 waffles. 2" of cereal in container, hardly any coffee. Coffee pump 25 times to get 1/2 cup warm nt hot. No forks, 3 spoons. 2 remotes to make tv work. Quiet. Ample parking. Missing light bulbs. Broken dresser. Beds way too soft and leaned one way. Needs renovation. Shower ok. Towels clean and plenty of them. Kitchen w dirty cupboards.
