This is a very luxurious hotel, the room was expertly cleaned everyday and the gym and spa area was immaculate and probably the best I have experienced in terms of quality and facilities. Initially we had a room facing the main junction which we found a bit noisy. We got moved to a room on the opposite side which was much quieter. I am sensitive to sound so maybe other guests would be fine. The Michelin star restaurant was amazing for a treat and not too expensive. Breakfast is fantastic quality albeit a bit pricey. Only negative is level of English amongst front desk staff varies from excellent to non-existent, so it depends on your luck the kind of service you get.

整體來說是一個很棒的體驗！當我在app 上完成預訂時，酒店已經透過app 聯絡我，詢問我閃否須要由廣州東站至酒店的穿梭巴士服務，十分貼心。我訂的是雙床房，非常寬敞，完全沒有壓逼的感覺！入住當天亦有透過前台職員預約了按摩服務。按摩師十分專業，肯定會跟其他朋友推薦！

Best hotel in the area, hands down. The staff can remember me and my favorite drinks and/or food so that each time when I enter the Club, they know what I need. Also the books selection in the Club are the best among all five-star hotels in the area. Each time when I come in to the hotel, I feel like coming home. Best of the best!

Best thing in Guangzhou was the Mandarin Oriental. Breakfast has asian and international cuisine, with fresh fruits and juices everyday. The bed was on the hard side but not too hard. The service is excellent. Mr Chase Zou in the concierge gave excellent advice on what to do and where to eat. They really go above and beyond to help guests. There was bus service to Canton Fair every day and when going back to the hotel, they had cookies and drinks waiting for us outside the bus. Such a thoughtful team. Rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday. At the end of the day, they also have turndown service and got the room ready for us. Wonderful.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. One can only give a 10/10, however some very small points for improvement: a) Wifi on our floor (25th) was not as to be expected and b) cutlery was rather unpractical. Compliments to housekeeping and the concierge (= Younes) !

Only had time to stay here for one day but we were very impressed with the level of services provided, dining experiences within the hotel and the convenience of the location. Special call out to Catherine at the front desk and Colleñ at the concierge desk, both of whom had gone above and beyond their expected duties to assist us, making our last day in Guangzhou a truly memorable one.

The service is excellent. Mr Chase Zou in the concierge gave excellent advice on what to do and where to eat. They really go above and beyond to help guests. There was bus service to Canton Fair every day and when going back to the hotel, they had cookies and drinks waiting for us outside the bus. Such a thoughtful team. Rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday. At the end of the day, they also have turndown service and got the room ready for us. Wonderful.

great service and very professional staffs, the hotel is conveniently located in a premium area and on top of a high end shopping mall. Early check-in was granted and they are obviously mind their business and doing their best to make their guests happy and to come back. 5-star for everything!

Cantonese restaurant with 2 stared Michelin. Amazing. Especially duck soup has excellent umami. I felt the best umami in Chinese soups for my life, which is similar to con-some of French. I recommend to go to Cantonese restaurant.

Only had time to stay here for one day but we were very impressed with the level of services provided, dining experiences within the hotel and the convenience of the location. Special call out to Catherine at the front desk and Colleñ at the concierge desk, both of whom had gone above and beyond their expected duties to assist us, making our last day in Guangzhou a truly memorable one.

Best thing in Guangzhou was the Mandarin Oriental. Breakfast has asian and international cuisine, with fresh fruits and juices everyday. The bed was on the hard side but not too hard. The service is excellent. Mr Chase Zou in the concierge gave excellent advice on what to do and where to eat. They really go above and beyond to help guests. We had a suite, but when we shower, the noise from the pipes were loud and can be heard from the bedroom and living room. Room 1703. Also the housekeeping was slow, service was slow. Bad experience for a 5 star hotel.

Overall, it was a nice stay at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou. I was there with my family. The hotel's proximity to the Taikoo mall was very convenient. What I found a bit sub par for a world renowned 5 star is the communication. There was some email exchanges with request for a restaurant booking but in the end, the booking was not done correctly. I recently had a similar request at the Rosewood Bangkok and everything was much more professional. The design of the day sheer curtain was also abit odd, leaving it looking very shabby for a lux hotel. Light switches was also quite frustrating to use. The pool is mediocre. Other than that, it's fine.
