The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very clean and the AC worked great. The Breakfast was delicious; especially the Blueberry muffing and biscuits. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. parking is very easy, park right at your door; and the restaurant across the street has great food at reasonable prices, and with friendly staff, as well. It is also near the Pinecone Campground, so if you want to come with a camping crowd, you can stay in luxury, and still hang out with your friends and family.

Friendly staff, relaxing setting and the rooms were basic but exactly how described. We really enjoyed the green space with picnic tables and BBQ in front of our room and the homemade muffins and scones for breakfast. I would stay there again.

Quaint old style motel off a quiet road. Room is a bit dated but very comfortable and with microwave and refridgerator. Coffee alway available in the office. The home made continental breakfast also included incredible eggs made to order, taken on the patio outside. Owners are very proactive in ensuring everything is okay. The room was very clean. There was a heat pump which was super quiet. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower head was non-removable but the water was nice an hot. Breakfast was included with lots of choices, home made blueberry muffins, cereal, yoghurt, white and brown toast, bananas, tea and coffee. Option to eat it at bistro tables outside or take a tray back to your room.

Very attentive owners, fresh towels everyday, good homecook breakfast (freshly made muffin, eggs coffee and donuts). When checking in, they will come to your room and show you how to work the remotes and things. So nice to meet people that still care. The motel is definitely not new, but lots of updates are being made. The cleanliness and coziness of the place makes you look at it and appreciate the character of the place. No carpets, fresh paint, new locks, no stains and no mildew. We also slept with the windows open :). There is no ice machine available and needed some (last minute surgery before the trip). Came back from our outting and found a little bag with cubes left in the freezer of our room. It is perfectly located in the middle of most popular sights to see: (1 to 1h30 drive). Next time coming back to New Brunswick, I will make sure to book this motel again. No need to look anywhere else. It is surrounded by trees and campgrounds. We loved it!

Just a 2km jaunt off the highway this is a very friendly, clean, quiet location. The Enersource were attentive to every detail. The room have been renovated and are lovely. Breakfast included would rival, or surpass any chain hotel and was served with attention to detail. A little outdoor deck provides a seating area. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location or stay here again if I had the chance.

The property is a bit dated on the ouside, but extremely clean interior. The owners were wonderful, nothing was a problem. Breakfast was included which was delicious including freshly baked goods. We would definitely stay again.

The bed was very comfortable, two lounging chairs with coffee table, a third chair with a table to serve as an office or for eating, fridge, microwave, TV with clear image and many channels, and thermopump to keep the room at the perfect temperature. The owners are very friendly and are always there to help with anythingnyou need. We love this little gem of a motel.

I stayed here while attending a event at princess luise park. Room was spotless , staff was verry sweet. Campground was a bit rowdy the first night untill midnight but very quiet the second night. I booked again for another stay see yoy soon !

It was a very pleasant trip. The owners were very friendly. It was very clean and comfortable and after 4 nights it felt like home! The only downside for us was the internet. It was unreliable And very slow. We would definitely go back.

Pleasant stay. Spacious room with modernized bathroom, and the most quiet AC Unit ever - big plus! The bed/mattress was lacking some comfort (squeaky bedframe, too soft, or worn mattress). Breakfast with a view and fresh made eggs - great! Very friendly owner!

Room was clean, small fridge & microwave no hot water in the bathroom sink but lots in the shower. When the people in the next room wete showering. Uou gould vlearly hear them, our toilet bubbled The beds are double & felt unsteady The place appears to be very old & it lookd like the owners are trying to spruce it up. The owners were friendly & had a light breakfast in the lobby . There were tables outside or uou could take it back to your room. I likely wouldn't stay again

Decently renovated old fashioned mom&pop motel. Rooms are smaller and bathroom a little tight, but that's expected. Average continental breakfast. Main problem: finding it, especially at night. DON'T use the street address when using Maps, use the name of the motel. And there is no lighted sign with the name, just a lighted entrance sign.

Traditional 50-70’s motel but nicely updated. Bed was very comfortable and room and bathroom were spotless . Owners/managers were helpful and the light breakfast was nicely supplemented with eggs cooked various ways to order.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for the night and I saw that this place had good reviews. I would highly recommend staying here. The owners were extremely sweet and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. We had a nice breakfast on their deck in the morning, complete with eggs made to order.

I can’t say enough about how lovely and wonderful these owners are. The man walked us to our room, showed us everything and any time we saw him around the properly we were greeted with his big smile. The woman owner made our eggs each morning fresh to order. Got up early to make fresh muffins for their guests and helped me with directions upon arrival to find a restaurant that was open late. The rooms are very clean and exactly what we were lookin for. There is some clutter by the main building but nothing to deter us from coming again.

We have stayed here multiple times over the past years and the owners do not disappoint!! They are totally courteous, respectful and friendly. We have often been offered our choice of a couple of different cabins when we have arrived. Breakfast is homemade and hearty. Always a pleasure.

We arrived late (after 10 pm). I called to inform them that we would be late, the woman (owner) was super kind, and stated she would wait for us. When we did arrive she was so warm and friendly! She gabe us the key and informed us anout breafast etc. Her husband walked us to our room, he even carried in our full sized cooler! He showed us how the tv/satellite worked, and he informed us about breakfast etc. Thry went above and beyond what they needed to, simply because he and his wife are so very kind. My daughter and I traveled from Ontario to Cape Breton and back, and of every hotel/motel we stayed in, this one was great! Se furniture was dated but very clean and in great shape. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and breakfast was great! Muffins and scones were baked in-house, not store bought! You dont find that too often. When my daughter returned the key upon checkout the husband told my daughter to take the leftover muffins & scones and to grab herself a drink to go. These folks are great people doing a fine job! Will absolutely go back!

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so friendly. They did so much to make our stay comfortable.The breakfast they serve is better than any motel I’ve stayed in.If you want to stay in a friendly place where they treat you like a favourite family member this is the place!

The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very clean and the AC worked great. The Breakfast was delicious; especially the Blueberry muffing and biscuits. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. parking is very easy, park right at your door; and the restaurant across the street has great food at reasonable prices, and with friendly staff, as well. It is also near the Pinecone Campground, so if you want to come with a camping crowd, you can stay in luxury, and still hang out with your friends and family.

A very sixties style motel located next to a very busy road with heavy truck traffic starting early in the morning. Unfortunately our room was located very close to the road, others are further away. Also unfortunate is the fact that though the rooms have been refurbished, the outside needs some TLC. Rooms are clean and the owners very accommodating. Breakfast is continental style, served in the office with tables outside. Not sure what you do when it rains. Would I stay here again? Maybe but only if we could get a room away from the highway.

I love the remote location, but the campground behind the motel can be loud with parties and the road is busy so there's traffic noise. But overall, the noise wasn't very bothersome. The room was a bit dated and the air system was noisy. All this said, I really had a nice visit. It was close enough to town for any amenities and I was able to focus on my work. The people who run the motel are lovely and very nice. I will absolutely stay again when I next need a place for my personal retreat.

Great budget motel with a convenient distance from local amenities in Sussex. Wifi was pretty dismal so plan accordingly, especially with the lack of cell coverage in the location. The owners are lovely and accommodating. Make sure you try their homemade blueberry muffins. So good!

Decently renovated old fashioned mom&pop motel. Rooms are smaller and bathroom a little tight, but that's expected. Average continental breakfast. Main problem: finding it, especially at night. DON'T use the street address when using Maps, use the name of the motel. And there is no lighted sign with the name, just a lighted entrance sign.

Great Location to stay if visiting the Hopewell and Fundy attractions. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, We had a motorcycle trailer and they were very pleasant to allow us to leave our vehicles there while we rode all around the area. Home baked complimentary breakfast was also awesome too! Highly recommend this place! Would definitely stay again!

No air conditioning in the motel rooms. That could be a problem on a real hot summers night. Otherwise the staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Absolutely gorgeous scenery!

Just a 2km jaunt off the highway this is a very friendly, clean, quiet location. The Enersource were attentive to every detail. The room have been renovated and are lovely. Breakfast included would rival, or surpass any chain hotel and was served with attention to detail. A little outdoor deck provides a seating area. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location or stay here again if I had the chance.

They made us eggs for an egg sandwich. Muffins, cereal, yogurt and fruit rounded out the offerings. Owners went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.

Quaint old style motel off a quiet road. Room is a bit dated but very comfortable and with microwave and refridgerator. Coffee alway available in the office. The home made continental breakfast also included incredible eggs made to order, taken on the patio outside. Owners are very proactive in ensuring everything is okay. Only real negative about proprty was the amount of construction material and scrap piled near office. Gives a bad impression o otherwise charming spot.

The room was very clean. There was a heat pump which was super quiet. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower head was non-removable but the water was nice an hot. Breakfast was included with lots of choices, home made blueberry muffins, cereal, yoghurt, white and brown toast, bananas, tea and coffee. Option to eat it at bistro tables outside or take a tray back to your room.

What a wonderful surprise!! A quick one nighter on a long road trip...the motel a 1950s-60s era motor court on a once important artery now bypassed by the modern highway. Visually quaint on the outside....the room modernized and functional on the inside. A wonderful surprise. But it got better. The breakfast spread was inclusive for the small motel. Home baked muffins and scones. Donuts. Toast. Cereal. Name yogurt. Good quality coffee... excellent quality individual condiments. And eggs cooked to order! We were gobsmacked by the quality, the quaint but convenient location, and the very reasonable price.

We had a quiet and comfortable stay in a nicely sized room that included chairs, a small table, a fridge, TV, AC, and a very cozy bed. The breakfast was perfect—freshly baked muffins, fried eggs, donuts, fruit, and yogurt. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely stay here again!

I absolutely adored my stay at the Pinecone Motel! It is such a rustic, quaint little motel with so much charm. The owners are absolutely lovely and truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. The breakfast was plentiful for a continental-style breakfast, with lots of choices, and they even make your eggs exactly how you like them — such a nice touch! What really stood out to us was the personal service and how genuinely friendly and welcoming the owners were. You just don’t get that kind of hospitality everywhere anymore. If you’re looking for a fancy, modern hotel, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you appreciate a clean, cozy, old-fashioned motel with character, wonderful owners and that home-away-from-home feeling, I would highly recommend the Pinecone Motel. Basic motel but very friendly owners. They stayed up late for our late arrival. In the morning, there’s a decent size continental breakfast plus they make you eggs to order, which was a great service. Only weirdness was when we arrived, door was open as was the door to the room next door from our side. Would gladly stay again.

My only complaint is that this motel is not accessible. No railing or ramp at office, no rail at toilet and no mat in bathtub which made it very precarious to have a shower. I did not partake in the breakfast so I cannot comment. Otherwise it was fine for a one-night stay.
