We rented this place for a memorial day event. We were greeted with the front desk not being able to find our rooms for 30 mins. One of the room door could not close, maintenance worked on it for 4 hours. Pool is drained and not as described in listing, please remove pool as an amenity, it is so misleading.

Fix hot tub and pool is ice cold

hotel is in the downtown, so you can walk everywhere from there. The hotel needs maintenance but the rooms are comfortable. Staff were nice and friendly.There were no towels on the pool.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff also works a convenient store across the street so there isn't anyone at the front desk. You have to call to have them come over. The elevator is very old and was last certified in 2014 which raises serious concerns about safety.

No cable TV (only Roku streaming), no restaurant and bar as listed.

Website a. Little misleading. It said hot breakfast. The only thing hot was coffee and you can make waffles. The Asian Tyra’s the restaurant next door There is no bar again it’s the building next door. Hot tub no bubbles. Rooms were updated and new and staff was friendly and helpful

Very misinformed, the only reason this property was selected was because of the pool and hot tub which are nonfunctional. There is remodeling being done throughout and the breakfast was not good. I will not stay again, very disappointed with this property.

We were not asked to provide a photo ID or credit card at check in which seemed questionable. Breakfast was standard (waffle maker, bagels, pastries, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit), though the milk was very spoiled. Parking is free, located in downtown, and we could see Lake Michigan from our room on the fourth floor.

This is an up and coming remodeled hotel. If you're willing to get past it being downtown, the rooms are very clean and the pool/ hot tub were very newly remodeled as well. Definitely worth the price.

Dirty, unmaintained, sketchy residents and continental breakfasts was unsanitary looking.

Entire building and rooms all smell of incense. Fire alarm at 2:00 am. Yelling, door slamming and police on the 3rd floor at 4:00 am. Poor night of sleep to say the least. Mold in bathroom. Worst stay I have ever had.

The property was the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. Cigarette smoke was so thick everywhere. Mold where they removed the baseboards. I have never seen such dirty carpet. We did not stay due to those unhealthy conditions. I have requested a full refund but have not received anymore information regarding it. I want a refund. Before you back a hotel like that you should go there. I certainly would not want to be affiliated with that property in anyway. Also could you check on my refund. The hotel is not clean at all

The room was clean but the A/C was very noisy. Not sure if the linen had been changed since last guest. Elevator was pretty bad. The baseboards were missing in the halls. Breakfast was minimal.

Very smoky and pot smelling rooms and hallways, but staff was very helpful in moving me to another room, which helped a bit, but the rooms are very hot and stuffy with no ventilation.

Upon arrival the place is filthy outside as well as inside.

Convenient location. Older hotel but remodeled. Very small bathroom, difficult to move in. There was hair in the drain and stains on the sheets.

Our room was clean and comfy. If you stay here eat at the Japanese restaurant around the corner, it was great!

Tv wasnt connected

The breakfast was hot with eggs and sausage and you could make your own waffles but there wasnt enough food for all the guests at the hotel. The room was clean. The roku tv sisnt qork. I had to log into my on acct.

Tiny bathroom with door that doesn’t lock. Barely enough room to change in private. Tiny beds.

The walls are extremely thin and could hear everything the room next to me was doing. With a small child it was very loud. The room next to me set off the fire alarm several times during the night and nothing was done to stop them. starting at 1 am and going through the night periodically the fire alarm would go off. I did not get any rest. In the morning, I tried to have a meeting virtually but could not due to the fire alarm going off every few minutes. Nothing was done when I expressed my disappointment and that I was upset my my experience. They also seemed to have people living there. Horrible experience! I will never stay at this hotel again.

You have to step into the shower to close bathroom door. It's WAY smaller than what it appears to be!!

The rooms are very small, especially the bathroom area. It was hard to even use the room to get dressed in or to give my children quick showers. The room itself was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It worked for a 2-day trip, but if we were staying longer, we would go with something a tad bigger and more manageable. The breakfast was okay, not a big layout, but it worked, and it was well-stocked. The staff was kind and welcoming. Left you alone unless you needed something- that's the way I prefer it. Would stay again for a short trip.

Hotel was nice on the inside and has clearly be renovated recently. Staff were very nice. Bathrooms are tiny so be aware of this. Reasonable price.

When booking, I realized this would likely be an older hotel in a downtown area, with window AC. However, even with lower expectations, this hotel did not meet them. - When I arrived, I noticed that the paint was peeling off the covered entryway. There were a couple of people smoking cigarettes right in front of the entrance to the non-smoking hotel. There was a man sitting with his car door open, smoking marijuana, adding to the atmosphere. - I also noticed construction materials both outside the hotel and near the front desk. Apparently, they are trying to remodel the hotel at the same time as having guests. - There is no one at the front desk - just a phone that you call to bring someone. - Not too sure about the quality of the remodel - especially with sizing of the shower/toilet area. You can't close the door on the area without squeezing next to the toilet or standing over it. The shower was also a bit tight - especially if you have broad shoulders. - Decor is ambitious, but it doesn't seem to fit with the setting. There is a huge empty area next to one nightstand with nothing there. Perhaps that could have been used to enlarge the toilet/shower area or to add a closet. If you want to hang anything up, there is not a closet. - Guest internet is very slow, and the cable TV's feed locks up every so often. - Pool is not operational. - Former restaurant looks to be under construction. - Convenient if want to walk downtown,

Our room had no cups glasses, ice bucket. We had a text that said if you need anything let us know via text. I did 24 hours later. They still hadn't answered so I text again and they said if we wanted an ice bucket come down and get one. It appears some people live there. The common area is not well kept. No one was ever at the front desk and even when you called it took a while for them to show up. Workers were generally outside smoking every time we came back. People in the rooms around us were extremely loud the first night and the second day even though I called it didn't change. We were very very disappointed and will not stay here again.

I stay there a couple times a month. The owners have been renovating the place since summertime. Looks better every time I go there. The beds are very comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. It's also very convenient having a store in the same building as the hotel. Great accommodations for the price!

They were very warm and accommodating

When we got there no one was at the desk to check us in, they had to come from the attached 'market' for that. The 'breakfast' area was not maintained. It was dirty, littered and the staff member was sitting at the bar watching the news on tv. The room was ok but we are glad we weren't staying during the colder weather if the only way to heat the room was with the small, portable heater that was in the room.

We checked out within an hour of checking in. They couldn’t give us a key to our room so the front desk clerk gave me the master key for all the rooms so we could get in ours. This was after she never asked for ID or a credit card to confirm who I was. The hotel is torn apart for remodeling and there is no one at the front desk- you have to call on the phone and she comes from the store next door. I was very uncomfortable being given the master key - wonder how many other people they have given it to?? Neighborhood was very sketchy. Hotels.com tried to get me reimbursed for the stay since we were so uncomfortable with the whole hotel and checked out without even being in our room. The manager would not call them back- so basically I just wasted $90 hence no refund. Avoid this hotel. Very bad experience and very dishonest.

Oh where to begin. This is an older hotel in downtown Sheboygan. The plus side are that the location is great for walking to really good restaurants, the shower was fine and the bed was comfortable and clean. The hotel downsides - The building itself needs better quality maintenance. It's not beyond repair but, for instance, if a wall tile is cracked it's better to replace it than to just smear caulk on the crack. There was what appeared to be an abandoned truck in the parking lot with two flat tires, the hood not quite closed and a battery sitting by the front bumper. There was rarely someone at the front desk, the sole employee was usually running the attached convenience store. That's right, there is a convenience store attached to the lobby. I'm not talking about the little sundry shop but a full on store open to the public, imagine a 7-11 but not that nice. If you need something at the desk you dial 0 and wait. Where Hotels.com let me down - I booked this in May. At the time it was booking for $296.55, If I were to book it on Hotels.com tonight (I slept there last night), it books for $73. I thought this would be easily remedied because Hotels.com has a low price guarantee. Nope, in a chat it was explained to me that to use the price match guarantee I would have to track the price difference myself and then alert Hotels.com to the discrepancy. What's the point of booking through Hotels.com if they don't have your back for something as simple as this?

This location has been improved from my last stay. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. I enjoyed having bars and restaurants within walking distance. A good value in downtown Sheboygan.

Convenient location close to lake Michigan

Hotel is located next to homeless shelter. Area seemed to be safe, but one never knows. Elevator had the odor of urine. Breakfast was disappointing as there were no tools for the waffle machine and the bagels were still in the bag. Breakfast service needs immediate attention. Staff was friendly and competent but hotel is tired and worn. Work is going on in the pool area, so this is a sign of hope.

There were homeless people wandering around outside and it didn’t feel safe. The elevators looked ancient and it seemed like it hadnt been serviced in a while. The rooms were ok- shower was kinda dirty.

Great place to stay if you’re passing through for a night or two. This hotel is reasonably priced, walkable to stores, restaurants, and the boardwalk.

TV was not working and it took over an hour to get it to work. Three requests to change the only light bulb in the toilet area was never done, even though I was told it would be all three times over two days. I had to go, in the dark!!!! The breakfast eggs were cold and hard. The window was open and the crank to close it was missing.

Room clean, but overall felt like old painted over hotel. Selected pay at property when making reservation but they charged my card in advance anyway. TV did not work, staff at desk didn't understand English so gave up on getting it fixed. Room key did not work. Who ends comp breakfast at 9 am!!

Seems like the facility is still in the remodeling stage. Unfinished halls, poor elevator operation, unfinished swimming pool, etc. No closet or clothes rod in room. No telephone in room. Breakfast poorly supplied and not maintained in a prompt manner. Breakfast hours cut short with clean up done and everything put away 30 to 45 minutes before the end of breakfast hours. Handicap parking inaccessible due to truck parked and blocking the access.

Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff can be hard to reach, as they also work in the attached grocery store. The big problem was the breakfast. The milk for the cereal was sour, which I discovered the hard way. Really disgusting, and unacceptable way for them to cut corners. Just provide individual milk cartons, for pete’s sake.
