Quality Inn Evanston near Wyoming Downs

Entire building was super old and filthy. Rooms were horrible and bedding was stained and gross. Staff was not knowledgeable about everyday problems such as how to program room keys, refunds, bookings, etc. I couldnt get internet unless I was a rewards member of their hotel group. Couldnt get customer service to answer their phone either. Dont waste your money here. I cant say enough bad thing about my experience at the disgusting hotel. Filthy doesnt come close to the interior.

The room was not very clean, when I tried to use the phone to call the front desk I found it was unplugged. Then when I tried to use the lamp, there were no lightbulbs. The door would not shut unless slammed, if we tried to close it gently to be considerate of the neighbors, it would stop at the jamb. There were broken and loose tiles in the bathroom as well as missing drywall. Overall, not worth the price we paid.

All in all it was a good stay, staff was helpful. Breakfast was sufficient. I was in a second floor room which was clean and comfortable. Except for the windows, it’s obvious they haven’t been washed in years. Could barely see outside they were so milky.
