My room smelled mildewy, the deadbolt would not turn, and the breakfast was a joke. There was some dry cereal, a waffle iron, and what looked like stale bread. There was a bag of Damp-rid hanging in my closet area to and it looked like it needed changing. There were dehumidifiers in the hallway. I didn't like the fact that the light switch when you first entered didn't turn anything on. The bed was comfortable. The clerk was friendly.

My room smelled mildewy, the deadbolt would not turn, and the breakfast was a joke. There was some dry cereal, a waffle iron, and what looked like stale bread. There was a bag of Damp-rid hanging in my closet area to and it looked like it needed changing. There were dehumidifiers in the hallway. I didn't like the fact that the light switch when you first entered didn't turn anything on. The bed was comfortable. The clerk was friendly.

For the price we were pleasantly surprised. The check in was pretty simple, although there was no hair dryer in the room the desk clerk was able to supply one, the room was comfortable, and there was a pretty good breakfast although it seems it's put out at 0530 and not checked or attended until it's shut down at 1000. Yes, it was apparent that this property has had some moisture problems, there were air fresheners in the hall to help cover the musty smell and it was unclear if the odd scent of licorice in the room was a cover scent or something used to remediate mildew, but it wasn't bad. There was a DampRid hanging in the clothes area. I did not see nor smell any actual mold or mildew so kudos for that. I'd book here again if I was in the area.

The place was clean and the staff was nice. Limited breakfast options. No Elevator so request the 1st floor if you have trouble going upstairs. The walls and doors are thin so we could hear people taking in the hallway.

It was cheap and sheets were clean! Carpet wasn’t the cleanest so keep shoes on ! They had ally of moisture or water cuz they had humidifier’s running in hallways and those bags hanging in rooms to remove moisture! We rented 2 rooms and both were like that! Overall it wasn’t bad! They offer a small breakfast too!

Im not sure if Ive ever stayed at such a bad hotel. This was the chair in my room. The light at the sink outside the bathroom didn't work so I was in the dark doing my hair and makeup the next morning and I found hairs on the sheet and pillow that werent mine before I got into the bed. I went downstairs to talk to front desk and nobody was there, nor was anyone there when I came downstairs in the morning. I requested a refund from hotel.com an hour after I checked in. I and haven't back.

The first room we were given smelled of cat urine, which was horrible. The desk clerk argued that there was never a cat in the room and then came into the room to see for himself. He then moved us to another room, in which dirty towels had been left behind the bathroom door on a hook. The air worked great, the beds were comfortable, but would definitely not recommend the facility.

The room had a really bad smell to it. That was very bothersome to me. I’m assuming it was a smoking room in the past and they tried to cover up the odor, but they didn’t do a good enough job. The shower faucet did not turn on very easily either.

I stayed here many years ago and the place was run down dirty and not very friendly staff time. And now I was very impressed with the staff. They are very polite. Acknowledge you when you walk by and the room was excellent. Great improvement and great place in a better place than last time.

I left my medication in the refrigerator in our room. We remembered 4 hours after leaving. The manager kept it for me in the refrigerator and was very helpful in getting it back. We so appreciated his concern and kindness.

Wanted to find a place we could keep coming back to as our daughter will be living in the area. The guy that checked me in unbelievable rude!! We were trying to find the place, sign not lit, on a side road. Wifi was not working. He seen me walk in, running copies off I waited thinking he was doing our paperwork, 2 min later I said hi and holy buckets got the 3rd degree. I wanted to leave but it was late, long drive, had a trailer no room for them at this place. I will not be doing my business here again.

I mistakenly reserved for Sunday rather than Saturday… and the desk clerk was was totally uncooperative… told me because I reserved with 3rd party they would do nothing… he then left the registration desk and office … leaving me standing there… I moved on!!!

This property offered a great summer rate! Bed and shower were good. The room included a refrigerator. It did have a new bath/shower. The location is conveniently located next to HyVee grocery and Labbies sports bar and grill. However, the room has a very musty smell and in general just is older. The breakfast area is very small, but they did offer a nice variety of items. There is no blow dryer provided. Weeds were growing in the rocks around the building. No lock on outside door. Luckily, Watertown is a smaller community so I felt pretty safe.

Was a decent hotel. My room was a double queen room and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good with biscuits/gravy, cereal, muffins, waffles and hard-boiled eggs. The room did smell a little different and the cold water faucet didn't work. Otherwise this is a solid hotel

Was a decent hotel. My room was a double queen room and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good with biscuits/gravy, cereal, muffins, waffles and hard-boiled eggs. The room did smell a little different and the cold water faucet didn't work. Otherwise this is a solid hotel

The room was clean but the furniture was streaked with oily handprints on the geadboard and what appeared to be dried whipped cream on the cup oats door holding the refrigerator. The lights were on as was the TV at 8:30 pm thanksgiving evening. I didn't notice the furniture until daylight showed them in the morning. Everything else was neat and tidy. Breakfast was ok but no jam for the toast and no protein just carbs and sugar. The attendant did bring yogurt when I asked. It was a little funny and a little disappointing to see the furniture .

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel is older and there was a problem with their truck so breakfast was limited. For the price this was an excellent choice.

The room was humid and hard to sleep in even with the air on, the tv cables were loose and kept messing up even when tightened, there was an odd bag hanging on the wall with gross water in it..like a dehumidifer bag. The service manager was unfriendly and kept telling us not to touch anything. He wouldn't provide a checkout receipt. Continental breakfast was very limited.

Our room was very clean, but the hallway, stairs and garbage looked like they had been neglected. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. All in all a great place to stay for an affordable price.

The property is old and rundown. For example, the ice machine was moldy and produced ice with noticeable chunks of mold in the cubes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The nightly rate was reasonable, but likely not stay there if returning to Watertown.

There was a weird sweet smell in the room that was very strong, not a pleasant smell like maple or something, just chemically sweet. I tried leaving the window open all day when I was out, but it never dissipated. The mirror in my room wasn't even secured on the top, so it wobbled if I touched it; I was worried it would fall down on me. And when I took a shower in the morning, the shower head literally fell off when I turned the water on. And both nights I was there, my keycard wouldn't open my door, so they needed to reprogram it. The staff was very nice, and had no problem reprogramming the key, but it still was inconvenient to need to have it happen both days I was there.
