Location of this property is outstanding! Easy walk to a number of venues, including theaters, dining, and shopping in Beverly Hills. Pros include: in addition to the location, good size rooms with comfortable beds, easy parking nearby, great lighted magnifying mirror in the bathroom, still and sparkling water machine in the lobby available to all. Cons include: very poor insulation — I could hear my next door snoring. TV had only a few local channels. No updated ports for electronic equipment charging.

The elevator is quite small and slower than grass growing. But the rest of the hotel is great, particularly if you like privacy and quiet spaces. Their cafe is sort of dead, but it's not a huge deal. Front desk staff is friendly yet not so helpful when asking for small favors like early checins, late checkouts or upgrades.

The staff was mostly friendly, but they even refused a 1.5 hours late checkout I needed because I was in some meetings. Also sometimes the front desk is just empty and you ahve to wait 30-45 mins. The elevator was screeching and metal grinding during the night and it felt someone was doing construction over my head. The rooms are tidy and clean, but not having coffee/tea/water knocks a star off.

First there was no parking and is an additional cost at $40 per car / night. Besides that and the construction I loved everything about this place. There’s a bar and lounge that if staying for a few nights looks like I would really enjoy the space it’s its own lil vibe. The look is so retro and gives the feel of old money. It’s literally walking distance to rodeo drive. There are so many eating spots that look so delish. And at under $150 a night how can you go wrong (that was our price last min booking). I really wish I stayed longer to enjoy the area. If you’re looking for a nice yet cost affordable place to stay in Beverly Hills I highly recommend staying here! Not to mention the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I do have one warning…. The elevator is super old and takes forever I thought it wasn’t moving and I was stuck but it’s just suuuuuuper slow…

Definite potential but needs some polish. There was a sign announcing new ownership so maybe things were in flux. I was in room 104 which was on the first floor and corner of building facing an intersection of two alleyways so a little noisy. You can hear everything - my first night I got up and complained because the room directly above was using a vacuum or a mechanical air pump at 11:30 pm. Moving around something heavy and walking back and forth. The rooms have no rugs (verified with my colleague who stayed in floor 3. Also my room’s toilet would run when the above toilet would flush so every so often and in middle of night I’d hear the toilet which was odd. Both nights were noisy which wouldn’t be as annoying if i wasn’t traveling for work and had early AMs. Additionally there is no coffee machine in the room nor complimentary coffee in the lobby in the AM. You can order a coffee but it’s overpriced for an automated touch screen beverage. I enjoy a cup of tea at night and bring along a couple of bags and when asked I was given a cup of hot water. I did appreciate their still/sparkling water dispenser that included flavor waters in the lobby. The location was great - a short walk to bakeries and restaurants in a quiet part of Beverly Hills. So much potential but some small amenities you’d expect at a boutique hotel in BH were lacking.

It is a good no-frills option in Beverley Hills and close to UCLA. Rooms are ok - beds pretty good, bathrooms are new. There's no restaurant and not much else besides coffee and flavored sparkling water. But it was convenient and not a bad price. Be careful getting parking - the garage is closed on weekends and you have to go into an office building and get let in by a security guard to get your car.

The only elevator in this hotel was not working at all for days,. We had to carry our own luggages all the way from main floor to Third floor,. Parking was not valet and had to across the street with hotel staff each time wanting to go in/out of parking lot.

It was a very cute property. Very clean and mostly quiet despite all the construction on wilshire which isn’t the hotels fault. The location was perfect nestled in a nice quiet neighborhood across from a park . Two block walk to coffee shops , restaurants and a few blocks from Rodeo and shopping. Elevator was very slow. I wish the amenities were better, complimentary coffee and the sweet little bar was never open. But close to everything you need! Clean and quaint.

The rooms are clean. The Staff has always been helpful and accommodating. The location is great for walking access to the Golden Triangle. There are lots of attractions that are a short taxi ride away, if too far to walk. Get the Waymo app and try a driverless taxi. A unique experience.

I liked the location and the room itself was fine. My only complaint was the hotel had an offputting scent (wet carpet/wet dog). I can't really describe it and it unfortunately made my stay less enjoyable.

Our room was dirty, hair on pillows, stain on shower glass. They didn't service the room at all during our 4day stay. There was no shampoo in the room for 2 days. Staff were rude. The water in shower smelled and the shower head was not working well. I will never stay here again.

I have a bug bite of some sort on my butt. I only stayed here one night and therefore know it is from this hotel. I have never been bitten by a bug on my butt from a hotel! I am disappointed. There isn’t a fitted sheet on the bed therefore when I woke up I noticed on my mattress how filthy it was with past guest hair all over it!

The room was run down and not cleaned well. The walls were thin and you could hear everything going on in the hall and stairway as well as the people above you. I could not recommend this hotel

Great staff, location, convenient parking scheme for LA. Paid about $350/night including parking; great for Bev Hills. Super location. The bad, and I hate to post it but I would want to know this as a potential guest: as I was hopping in bed I noticed several hairs on the sheets. Way, way more than a stray housekeeping hair; like 10+ hairs. Bed was super wrinkled. I concluded that it had not been changed from prior guest. Water and coffee were also not restocked so figured the maid just had a bad day, and did not properly turn the room not a big deal. 10 pm at this point, I went to night manager and got two fresh sheets. He was so nice and apologetic. Anyway when I went to change the sheets: there were dozens (hundreds?) of more hairs of various sizes and types and staining on the mattress. Like an insane amount. I cannot even describe how many. I have pics. Clearly the mattress/cover have not been changed for a loooong time. Sought another room; they had one; but checked that mattress and same issue! Absolutely crazy and so gross. Now it’s 11 pm and the night manager is still so great but he has no ideas to solve this, he is picking hairs off the bed one by one but there are too many; the poor guy is so embarrassed. Anyway I had no option but to throw the fresh sheets on and roll with it and trust the clean sheet to protect me from the hairs and stains. So anyway, heads up. But staff and location are phenomenal.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed. Do yourself a favour and do NOT go to this hotel. There was a horrid smell throughout the hotel, the room was dirty (dust and dirt in the corners of the room, dirty walls, disgusting shower).

We stayed here for one night while passing through LA. The bed sucked, sheets sucked, room was tiny, bathroom was separated by glass so there was no privacy or sound barrier, the floors weren’t carpet so it was super noisy, my room was right by the staircase and I was woken up in the night hearing people go up and down the stairs. Crazy that this is a 4 star hotel . I wouldn’t pay more than $100 for this

Cute little hotel in great location, but rooms were not to standard I was expecting. Loose shelving in bathroom and the shower head sprayed all over the place. I couldn’t figure out how to turn on air conditioning but I also didn’t ask.

It was ok for the value. I'd stay there again, but would go with the night owl, windowless room, the curtains were not the best.

Good location. Clean hotel. However, the constant sound of footsteps from the floor above was very bothersome. It was quiet at night when the people above us did finally stop moving around. I would ask to be on the 3rd floor to avoid this. The elevator was rather slow though.

The room was clean, but very small. There was quite a lot of street noise. I’m not sure why people were out at 3 o’clock in the morning doing anything, but it was quite noisy. There was clearly some other work type activities happening on the street and I can pretty much hear everything. This hotel is the Beverly Hills version of a Motel 6, with cleaner, rooms and nicer staff. I really liked the flavor infused water machine in the lobby.

Overall, the hotel was good. However, there are a few things to consider when booking. The staff here was fantastic. Check in was easy, they were very kind and quick and knew the area very well. They offer various types of water in the lobby and you can request coffee from the front desk. The area is beautiful and very walkable to resturants and other shops. Not sure if it was the hotel being renovated or because its a boutique hotel, but it was very difficult to find at night. It blends very well into the neighborhood and is easy to pass by with almost no clear signage. The overall style of the hotel is very cool. Nice design, eco-friendly LED lights, and an interesting vibe. But, the room itself was very small. Not uncomfortable but, had I not been traveling solo, would have felt very cramped. This may just be the room I booked though. I would definitely consider staying again.

The only negative relates to the parking. Looking for a space , I was met by a VERY RUDE attendant. I asked him to move the orange cone from the space assigned, and he said he was too busy. This schmuck needs to find a different job. I related what I experienced to the front desk. This occurred on the 2nd of September around 4PM

The staff was mostly friendly, but they even refused a 1.5 hours late checkout I needed because I was in some meetings. Also sometimes the front desk is just empty and you ahve to wait 30-45 mins. The elevator was screeching and metal grinding during the night and it felt someone was doing construction over my head. The rooms are tidy and clean, but not having coffee/tea/water knocks a star off.

Staff was extremely nice, as gold members we received a complimentary bottle of champagne. Hotel is boutique but right in the center of Beverly Hills. Would definitely come back.

The front desk staff was super helpful and nice. Dinner was less than a block away. It appears that the hotel is in transition of ownership. The room was clean but the restroom needed a little face lift . Overall, good price for location.

The location was perfect for the event I attended. Plus great walking distances to Beverly Hills highlights. The downside is that there was no one at the front desk when I needed to check out. I had a 5:30am pickup, and had to leave behind a note.

Hotel definitely in decline, fab location but no longer offers valet service or dinner, such a shame! And 87 dlrs resort fee is absurd, can only assume it is going to shut soon to be refurbished. Credit due to Sonny on reception though, cool guy!

Cute little hotel, smack dab in the middle of BH. No food options offered in property, but walking distance to lots of different food and coffee options. Very convenient location with a little park across the way. The staff is Very Lovely, be kind to them!.. Great for a solo short term stay. Would totally stay here again.

It was a very cute property. Very clean and mostly quiet despite all the construction on wilshire which isn’t the hotels fault. The location was perfect nestled in a nice quiet neighborhood across from a park . Two block walk to coffee shops , restaurants and a few blocks from Rodeo and shopping. Elevator was very slow. I wish the amenities were better, complimentary coffee and the sweet little bar was never open. But close to everything you need! Clean and quaint.

Parking process is horrible, 28$ charged but you need hotel person to come and scan card every time. Breakfast options are very limited, you need to order out of few options and then wait for 30-40 mins. Looks like staff shortage as well.

Great location by rodeo drive. Full breakfast entree option with juice and coffee. Sunny was a delight. Check in was weird with gold vip status I was supposed to get a bottle of spirits and a room upgrade. They said there wasn’t any available but I saw rooms online. I asked for the bottle of spirits and he said they were out. I said white wine would be fine and he gave me a half drank opened bottle from lounge bar. Odd. Bed and sheets were amazing. Shower could be hotter.

Loved the location. Lots of food options within walking distance. I’m a coffee fanatic and they offer coffee bar service (not your standard in-room cofffee maker. Price was right and they allowed us to check in hours early for a MINIMUM fee!

The Sirtaj is a lovely, little hotel - more like a European "pension" - on a side street in Beverly Hills just off Wilshire. Friendly international staff. Quiet. Within very easy walking distance of many good restaurants and shops. No need for a car (but they have a garage). The included breakfast is good and plentiful - if simple. Good bed. Heat/cool unit worked well. The bathroom is small but the shower is great. One negative: the toilet (in 302) had no seat cover. A worry that something would drop in and no place to comfortably sit. The rooms are not large, but big enough. Good value as a base of operation in an expensive area. 9th time staying here.

It is a good no-frills option in Beverley Hills and close to UCLA. Rooms are ok - beds pretty good, bathrooms are new. There's no restaurant and not much else besides coffee and flavored sparkling water. But it was convenient and not a bad price. Be careful getting parking - the garage is closed on weekends and you have to go into an office building and get let in by a security guard to get your car.

Our overall experience was disappointing, particularly when it came to service and attention to detail. The hotel did not seem to be on top of basic room maintenance. For example, the closet door in our room would not open properly—something that should have been noticed and corrected before a guest checked in. We also found the front desk staff to be unnecessarily rigid and felt that the hotel nickel-and-dimed its guests. Our room was already cleaned and available when we arrived around noon, yet we were told we would have to pay an additional $50 if we wanted to check in before 2:00 PM. I can understand an early check-in fee when special arrangements are required, but charging $50 when the room was already sitting ready seemed excessive. On the way to our room, we noticed another room in the same price category that appealed to us a little more. We politely asked if we could switch to that room and were given a flat “No,” without any explanation or attempt to accommodate us. Finally, a large yellow “Wet Floor” sign was left directly in front of our room for our entire two-night stay. When we asked if it could be moved, we were simply told that it could not. It may seem like a small issue, but it was another example of the lack of attention and flexibility we experienced throughout our stay. Our impression of the hotel is that could benefit greatly from better attention to its rooms and a more accommodating, guest-friendly approach to service.
