The room was perfectly fine for the price. I checked thoroughly and everything was clean. The onsite parking was nice, staff were polite. Things to be aware of: *As the other reviews noted, they do require a $50 *cash* deposit. The amount is specified on the Motel 6 website, but I didnt see it mentioned on any of the 3rd party sites, and the fact that it has to be cash isn't specified anywhere, except at the motel itself, via paper sign on the door. It seems like this is getting to be a more common practice. In any case, I got the full deposit back when I checked out in the morning with no issues. *There's soap and towels, but no other shower stuff, so you'll want to make sure to bring your own.

1:00 AM. Water pouring into room from burst pipe overhead. Phone doesn't work. Get dressed and walk to office. COLD OUTSIDE. Clerk comes to inspect. Offers to move me to different room. Pack up everything and move to new room. New room is smaller than the room I paid for. No hot water. 11:00 AM. Ten hours later. Still no hot water. Can't shower. Checked out. No one available to discuss refund.

He kept telling me that I "selected" a single bed in their system when I booked a double bed on Hotels.com. I refused to pay, but I still got a double room. They also require a $50 deposit they "usually give back" to be paid in cash, which I was not aware of upfront and only saw later, hidden in the small print. Don't worry if you don't carry cash like most people. They do have an ATM right there that you can take the money out from, and it will only charge you a fortune. Not shady at all. Fortunately, I had a branch of my bank nearby, and in the end, I got the whole deposit back in cash without an issue. The room was the bare minimum. A bed, a table, a coat hanger, and a TV. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the room was filthy. The bathtub had so much hair in the drain that the water went down very slowly.

I can only say one nice thing about this place: the tv was surprisingly nice, and worked perfectly Otherwise, I felt so unsafe in this room I didn’t even feel comfortable enough to take a shower. The door had clearly been broken into before and the chain was still missing. I also had people coming into my room at 4am, thankfully due to a mixup during check in and nothing nefarious - but I will was only able to get about 3 hours of sleep due to it. I was genuinely concerned for my safety in the moment. The bedspread looked like it had gotten damaged in the wash and therefore looked filthy. Also there is a $50 cash only deposit required that I didn’t see mentioned on the page anywhere.

I ended up paying $30 on top of my reservation that i paid through expedia. He charged me only cash(30). He said that he would charge me that extra because I paid for myself only(expedia said 2 people allowed). However it was only myself but he still charging me extra. BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, DIRTY FLIES ALL OVER THE ROOM, IT WAS BAD.

I used hotels.com to book my room and at check in I was told I was the first two book a room this was. It took almost 2 hours and me having to use my own cell phone to relay messages between hotel.com and Motel 6 to get checked in. There was no lobby. I was forced to sit on the side of a curb, waiting between customers. It was absolutely horrific.

The people that runs this place is very disrespectful to women and don’t know how to talk to people. I was yelled at more than one time because I couldn’t understand what they were saying. The place has roaches everywhere, the housekeepers never came to my rooms and ask did we need anything at all. When I first checked in they messed up and put the money for one room on the other room that was already paid for. So that meant they had to refund my money and it took 4 days until I got my money back on my card. I felt insulted because I didn’t have any more money to pay for the room. So instead of them taking accountability for what they did. They made me feel like it was my fault. You don’t know who the manager is because I think the people that runs it is family and all of them are living there in the hotel. Each person that be at the counter don’t know anything and you can’t get answers from them. I had to tell them I was going to call corporate on them. Everyday after check in they called me about the money for the room that they messed up when I first checked in. They didn’t even try to compensate me for there mess up at all. This by far was the worse place I have been to and the worst service I ever received from a motel or hotel.

The people that runs this place is very disrespectful to women and don’t know how to talk to people. I was yelled at more than one time because I couldn’t understand what they were saying. The place has roaches everywhere, the housekeepers never came to my rooms and ask did we need anything at all. When I first checked in they messed up and put the money for one room on the other room that was already paid for. So that meant they had to refund my money and it took 4 days until I got my money back on my card. I felt insulted because I didn’t have any more money to pay for the room. So instead of them taking accountability for what they did. They made me feel like it was my fault. You don’t know who the manager is because I think the people that runs it is family and all of them are living there in the hotel. Each person that be at the counter don’t know anything and you can’t get answers from them. I had to tell them I was going to call corporate on them. Do not, under any circumstances, stay here. I knew exactly the type of place this was as soon as I drove in. I nearly gave them a chance but when I went to eat at a local restaurant, they confirmed my fears. This location is used for A LOT more than just a stay. Avoid entirely. There are other locations at the same or similar price that are significantly less dangerous. To add insult to injury, they require a $50 deposit (cash only) and the transaction fee is $5. Everything about this place is trash. I just stopped for one night for work. Had to change locations.

The water heater went out during our stay and it was more than two days for it to be replaced. That sort of thing happens. Close to good food options and public transportation on the city bus system, which was excellent during our stay.

When they say “you get what you pay for “, this place takes it to heart. Definitely the local hotel where the addicts and prostitutes go and I watched about 5 tricks and deals go down. If you just need one night to sleep off a night out, it suffices but definitely try to find the next lower hotel and bring one of those portable door locks with you.

This Motel is in a very unsafe neighborhood. There were prostitutes and pimps out front of the hotel. If you go to Google Maps and look at the street view you'll see that it is a very bad neighborhood. I would not even get out of my car I did not feel safe eventually left because people were coming at my car. I was very disappointed that this was even on hotels.com app. I've stayed at Motel 6 at least 30 times of my life and I've never seen one that look like this or was in the neighborhood like this

Convenient for a cheap night near Baltimore train station. Located in a rather poor area. The managers are barricaded in the office and you communicate through a narrow window. It gives a feeling of danger, although nothing bad happened during my stay.

There was a big roach or bug flipped upside down upon entry to room. I was exhausted from traveling from out of town. I asked them to give discount on room was very minimal. I asked the day day for housekeeping to make sure they cleaned my room changed sheets etc. but to no avail! I asked for some compensation for the lack of cleaning and bug still in my room and to no avail needless to say I was very upset. Walking through to your room it smelled like a homeless shelter they need to get that stinch from the hallways or just have cement floors. Tub looked disgusting I kept my flip flops on didn’t want my feet touching the tub. I feel some better compensation should be merited!😡

This was a truly expensive mistake for me. I lasted about an hour before I checked out. The room reeked of cigarettes (I can usually handle a smoking room but I could barely breathe). The bathroom had dead bugs on the floor. The sheets had blood stains and cigarette holes in it. The bedding had stains as well. When I tried to check out shortly after checking in, initially they said they would not issue any refund. I then asked why they would bill me for an entire day that I would not be staying. Only after that did I get a partial refund. They got $93.80 out of me for about an hour's stay. Sadly, it was graduation week and a last minute change so I spent way more than my budget allowed for a new hotel, but the difference was stark. I have stayed at other Motel 6 locations and never experienced anything like this.

We booked as the hotel was close to a light rail station. The reception staff were friendly but their English was limited. They said it was safe to walk to the station but the vibe of the area suggested otherwise. We had to pay a cash deposit for the room that was refunded when we left without any issues. The room was clean and comfortable but we were woken at 4am with a dispute in and around another room. There was shouting and banging on a door with a man demanding to be let back in. The convince of the station was not enough to off set the general location of the hotel.
