Viejas Casino & Willows Hotel

We only stayed for one night on our way to our final destination but we very much enjoyed our visit. The staff from the valet parking to the housekeeping and pool staff were all very pleasant and very helpful. There is a shopping mall across the street with a free shuttle service. The pool area was a particular favourite of ours.

Construction will be great when it is over. Right now property is diminished a good bit

Disappointed that pool area does not open until 10am and closes at 7pm. We used that Spa Facilities and the Steam room was down and the jacuzzi was cold.

This place is under construction and parking is a bit confusing.

We liked the cleanliness, the staff and the casino. Bu, upon our arrival, we had no idea where to enter the hotel due to construction. Signs were not posted to help us. Then, the parking was very far away and had to walk the distance. Also, the front desk gave us keys that didn’t work for our room. The lobby was torn apart with construction. Lastly, the next morning we were woken up by very loud jackhammers at 7:00am. We were never told of all this construction!

Nice rooms, good restaurants, ongoing construction, crowded pool as one is not available due to construction. Friendly staff. Recommend

Great pool

The pool is closed construction is going on that should be in there description. I leave very early and the grab an go didn’t have any hot beverages. The room however was very well kept.

The rooms were quiet and comfortable. I love the small shampoo and conditioner in tubes on the sink. Touch of class over the bottles mounted in the shower stall. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. I only ate at the Baron Long Bar & Grill but had an amazing breakfast. There are outlet shops here as well and food in the shopping area. They also have spa facilities, two beautiful pools and on the weekends entertainment. A great escape from San Diego for a day or two!’

Great solo trip for 1 night. The resort is very well maintained friendly staff and the pool was very relaxing and spacious.

Bathroom had a bad odor, but it was clean.

Pool loungers were gross and dirty, pool area wasn’t kept up as it should, limited seating due to leftover towels that were not picked up. The loungers inside the pool were also stained and covered with brown algae.

We stayed here while attending an event for the evening. After the event, came back to the room hoping to go to sleep but instead came back to the air conditioner not working and it being super hot....and to.top it off the fire alarm chirping non stop.....this was around midnight ....i called the front desk and they were friendly and sent two different people uo to look at the issues. So at almost 1 am we have people with ladders in our room looking at the issues. Eventually, they switched us rooms but at 1am that is the last thing we wanted to do. Staff was friendly but the room was awful. Next morning, I made coffee with the kerriug provided, and when I grabbed the item with the sugar in it, it looked like someone spilled creamer onnit and never cleaned it up. It was sticky and smelled like milk gone bad. The room was dusty and clearly has not been dusted in awhile. The hotel tried to make.it right by offering a $50 food credit. I said that mames no.difference bc we were.leabing in a few hours (again this is at 1am). The next morning, the management did call to appologize for the lack of sleep we got etc.He offered us a late check out, and also provided a letter to come back to stay at the Willows suites for 2 nights on them due to our experience.We will return to use the 2 night stay in hopes for a better experience.The only pool open right now is at the willows.We spent the aftwrnoon by the pool and it was a good experience. I wish Viejas would offer better entertainment

Construction! They started with the screw guns at 7am. When I told the check out lady, she said they shouldn't start to till 10am. The 2 extra towels we got were stained, so we used them for the floor. Other than those 2 things it was excellent. Staff was really nice!

Very luxurious. Impeccably clean. Two robes in room. Very polite friendly staff. Will be even better once pool season starts in a month or so. Huge casino with good energy.

Dirty room

Really pretty area and hotel design. The room was very clean and organized.

The rooms were small and a bit dirty. At night there were drunk people running down the halls yelling. I wouldn't stay here again.

The ease of check in. Only thing i didn't like was no fridge. They went Vegas style where it was a mini bar.

First time staying at Viejas Casino and other than having no refrigerators in the room everything was great. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Room was a bit small but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a great shower. My only complaint was there are very, very few signs to help new visitors but a very friendly staff member seemed to be everywhere to help answer questions and lend directions. Food options were adequate the food was very good.

No hot water for the shower. Called the front desk. We were told to let the water run for 10 minutes. 30 minutes later still no hot water. Front desk did nothing to rectify the situation.

The room was spacious and clean. Had a great stay. Everything from arriving to the valet to checking out was a great experience. All staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

The rooms were small and dark--the lighting was bad. The water in the shower was lukewarm. It's a nice casino, but the hotel is not worth the money.

Loved that they offered free soda and beverages all day long. Unique offering in a casino. House keeping staff were friendly and prompt with their services. Love the rooms, casino and the amenities offered. Their grab and go cafe is another highlight. Lot of veggie options to choose from. Large portion sizes for nominal price. Nothing too fancy or expensive in their menu. Would come back again. Overall an amazing experience.

The property was great! It’s really big and has various kinds of amenities. Everything is easily accessible and the workers are very nice and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the security guards continuously asked to check my id every time I walked in, sometimes multiple times a day as if they didn’t see me previously. I even had one security guard question my ability and income to stay at the resort. I understand that they are doing their jobs, but it felt like a personal attack and borderline harassment having to pull out my id every time I walked into the hotel, even by the same people. Also, the hotel is not clear on the charges and fees that you are responsible for. I have been charged three different times and it is unclear as to what the reasons are. Other than that, I did have a great experience.

Checkin was very slow. Customer service was lacking, stood in line for 20 minutes while clerk didn’t pay attention to help me.

Great food and great selection of gamea all around. Only issue qas the check in took forever, but im loving thw vibes and everything. Ill be back for sure. Tiny bit upset they didn't give me my perks, but not a big deal it was just 10 bucks

Nice casino up in the mountains. Outlet shopping across from hotel. Definitely need a car if you want to explore the San Diego area and attractions.

Staff was amazing . All the bartenders were amazing. The pool staff Omar and Hailey were super nice. The bartenders inside at the bar near the table games were all amazing! Grab & Go staff were super attentive and efficient.

I wish I was informed that the cafe was closed . Didn’t let us know that the restaurant was closed. I find it odd that it wasn’t mentioned prior to us leaving .

Loved LIZ our server in the baron grill at viejas..she was super attentive and the food was fantastic...will go back just for her...the beds at the willows are amazing and the showers are the size of UTAH!!!...just all around great experience...

I love this place. Even if you don't gamble, they have excellent dining options and drinks. The rooms are beautiful, and the beds are incredibly comfy. The staff is great as well.
