An older hotel that appears to be in the process of updating; the (older) bathroom was small but worked just fine, and the room was freshly painted, clean and comfortable for a night's stay (our room faced direct sunlight and because of the heat our shades had to be closed making it a very dark room). A few small shops/good restaurants down the hill, and Haldimand beach is a short drive away. Breakfast is available next door, a bonus when on the road travelling! A good Gaspe stop.

Vraiment déçue de notre séjour. Aucun service de ménage ni changement de serviettes même si nous étions là pour 3 nuits. Au prix de 250$/nuit c'est beaucoup trop cher pour le type de chambre et le service offert. On a l'impression que cet endroit veut ton argent tout en offrant le minimum !

Mur de chaque côtes laisse passer le bruit comme si on était dans l 'autre chambre.

Wonderful welcoming staff quickly found the reservation and got us to our room promptly. The room was updated with ample USB connections and great lighting. The bathroom was very small and awkward to use effectively. The space between toilet and sink was too narrow, the tub was only 3 feet long, making a small shower stall. The shampoo dispenser on the wall protruded into the small space and when my partner slipped he hit his head opening a wound on the device!

I went with my family and the location is perfect as most of the attractions are nearby. About the property, I was not fully satisfied with room. It was pretty small for 2 adults and 2 kids. The air condition was making loud noise. The room is not soundproof at all so we were able to hear from foot step to any conversation. Other than everything was good, had sufficient amenities.

La grande à la réception… peu de façon et voulait absolu que je prenne la chambre qui sentait le macro ( quelqu un avait sûrement fait cuire du poisson). Après plusieurs attentes et retour à la réception, elle a décidé de me changer de chambre.je lui est demandé de faire la même chose pour le lendemain et à ma déception, elle l avait pas fait.Chantal a corriger le tout le lendemain.La grande est vraiment incompétente

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in North America. Small, cramped and near a stair case. The stair case was old and in poor repair and when people went up or down it, it caused terrible noise and the bed I tried to sleep in shook. Also, the parking lot outside my room was a kind of bus terminal and big buses stopped to puck up and discharge well into the night. I booked for two nights and when I fled the next morning, the person working at reception did not only give me any reimbursement for the next day, she wouldn’t give me the email addresses of the owner or manager of the hotel.

This is a normal standard for a motel, the price could be lower considering that a Normandin Hotel and suites 5 times higher in quality than the Rodeway Inn is at the same price. But we're all good motels, close to restaurants, the port and the water's edge for nice walks. Good service

An older hotel that appears to be in the process of updating; the (older) bathroom was small but worked just fine, and the room was freshly painted, clean and comfortable for a night's stay (our room faced direct sunlight and because of the heat our shades had to be closed making it a very dark room). A few small shops/good restaurants down the hill, and Haldimand beach is a short drive away. Breakfast is available next door, a bonus when on the road travelling! A good Gaspe stop.

The first thing we see at pour arrival is how great its location is. Right between the St-Hubert and the Tim Hortons, 1 minute walk from the great old downtown street that we like to walk with all the boutiques and restaurants, and close to anything else (Berceau du Canada, bank, mall, cinema, etc.). When we entered our room is when we liked it less. We were immediately struck by a strong, disgusting smell of humidity. It seemed to come from the AC, so I turned it off and the smell eventually went away. However, the floor carpet remained for all of our stay with an impression of humidity, cool and dirty. We were also hearing very well the room above ours. Was also noisy outside when the voyageur bus arrived in the parking late at night. The rest was all good. We appreciated that there is still an alarm clock. Most motels these days remove them, probably thinking that the guests' cells replace them, but they don't! As soon as you open your eyes, you know what time it is! And a big positive point from this motel is that even though it has no breakfast inside, we get coupons for 50% off at St-Hubert litterally next door, so we've had a super great breakfast there for our whole 4-person family for less than 50$. Pros and cons. May recommend it!
