The house is a beautiful Victorian mansion, well preserved and full of charming details. There are many steps to the upper floors and no elevator. Our room was comfortable and clean and the heat-A/C worked well. Breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced. We walked 10 minutes into town for shopping and other meals. I would happily stay here again.

Le service à l'accueil est excellent, le personnel très poli et respectueux et c'est TRÈS propre. La piscine est très agréable. Malheureusement, il n'y a pas de restaurant ouvert. Nous devons sortir prendre un café le matin. Très désagréable. Seul le service du bar est ouvert à la demande. Glace à volonté aussi. La bâtisse est magnifique, mais les chambres sont petites. Nous étions du côté des Victoriennes. Il y a du tapis partout : pas bon pour l'asthme et les allergies. Lavabo dans la chambre à côté du lit : ce n'est pas pratique. La douche est minuscule, pas très pratique. L'asphalte du stationnement est brisée partout : beaucoup de réparations à faire. Danger pour briser les chevilles. Le Wi-Fi est déficient et ne fonctionne pas bien. Je trouve que c'est très dispendieux pour ce qui est offert.

L’architecture, le style victorien et les antiquités font de ce lieu un endroit charmant, mais malheureusement d’autres éléments nous empêchent de le recommander. Nous avions une très petite chambre avec peu de commodités (pas de cafetière, pas de réfrigérateur même pas de restaurant). Nous sommes allés à la piscine, mais le fond de la piscine était sale ce qui nous a enlevé le goût de se baigner. Cet endroit a besoin de rénovations (balcon, piscine). Toutefois, malgré un tapis gondolant dans la chambre, c’était propre, bien entretenu et l’air climatisé fonctionnait bien. Les propriétaires étaient gentils. Nous espérons qu’ils investiront davantage dans ce lieu pour en faire un lieu de choix.

This historic inn is exactly what it presents itself to be; it has history & charm, plus it is updated where it needs to be. Lovely, quiet, and peaceful; the grounds are calm and very pretty, the pool is refreshing, the staff are friendly & professional.

A lovely, clean and historic Inn. I was sad to see that in the height of the summer season it only appeared to have about 1/2 a dozen guests, and the bar and dining facilities appeared to be closed. Perhaps they, like elsewhere, are having trouble getting staff... I hope it was experiencing a temporary business lull, as it would be sad to lose such a lovely and historic place.

Quaint as a Victorian lace button. However lack of guests made for most services being closed during our stay. Would have loved to have a drink in their gorgeous pub. Also, make sure you try your "night code". Mine didn't work, was trapped outside for 90min after slipping out for a 5:30 cigarette.

We had a lovely stay in a hotel that's 150 years old, full of original features that we absolutely loved. The new owners were friendly, attentive, and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We particularly enjoyed the poolside area and having a pre-dinner drink in the charming pub.

The unique feature about this hotel, which was very negative for me as a senior with a severe knee problem, was that it required walking up three flights of stairs, with our luggage, to get to our room. The circular staircase was particularly dangerous for me. There was no elevator. If we had known about this requirement in advance, we never would have booked a room there. Either Expedia or the hotel itself should make this requirement crystal clear in your advertisements for this property.

Overall this hotel would have been 5 stars, however when we left it seems there were some sort of bugs or spiders in our room and one of us left with bites all over our body. We contacted the hotel to advise them, but they never bothered responding. Also no receipt of the bill when we checked out, even after e-mailing and requesting.

Beautiful and comfortable old Victorian style inn with many antiques. Great location. Very helpful staff. Would be great to have a coffeemaker in the room or at least in the lobby so you don’t have to drive a mile to the nearest coffee shop. Rooms were very clean although on the last day I was covered in bug bites which appear to be from bed bugs. That room #26 should be checked. My travel companion in the next room did not have any bites.

We were there during off season so the town was quiet and the hotel even quieter, but we found the staff charming and full of ancedotes. Because of the season we were upgrated to a small studio. Room was clean, comfortable. No complaints at all. Looking forward to returning again.

Auberge Lakeview Inn is a very nice heritage building in a very nice scenic country like setting, the atmosphere there is quiet and relaxing, the one thing that we felt was lacking in the room was a small fridge, other than that the stay was very pleasant.

The property is old but in good condition. While the property was full our assigned room was considerably smaller than what I had expected. The service was excellent. Breakfast at the Inn was very good and reasonably priced. If you are the last to check in you get assigned to the 3rd floor which has very small rooms.

This is a really cool 150 year old building in the heart of Lac Brome. Like all auberges there are tons of public rooms through the building from a bar to a restaurant to sitting areas and a massive front balcony. It's a five minute walk from some great restaurants and also from the lac brome marina. Rooms are small but nice and clean and have all the features you'd need. We were there one night for a wedding. Would go back and stay several days to enjoy the space and the town.

Comfortable beds, excellent shower pressure, quiet location. If you’re into classical style furniture and decor this is a beautiful hotel! Walkable to many coffee shops and restaurants. The new owners are so pleasant and ready to help with anything you need!

La chambre était trop petite et les chaînes tv étaient toute en anglais ou presque.Mais le prix était bon.Le lavabo était a l extérieur de la salle de bain.C est peu pratique.

very nice victorian place. my only problem was that we were on the 3rd floor walkup so I had to carry my bags up because there is no elevator. This is not so easy for a 77 year old lady with a heart condition. But the beds were comfortable and the room was pretty clean. Small but clean.

On ne nous avait pas averti concernant l'acces terriblement mauvais du réseau wifi, cela manquait tout le temps ....je n'avais jamais vu ça.

Staff were extremely kind, helpful. Rooms very clean. Beds comfy. Pool was perfect for a hot day! Knowlton is such a pretty town and we had a wonderful meal at the Knowlton Pub. Everything within walking distance from the hotel. We're already planning a return trip!

This is an awesome place. Victorian decor and well maintained. A really nice place. The owners were great and personable. Lots of places to walk to for food and drink. Definitely going back.

The historic, rambling, quaint inn is perfectly situated in a lovely town. The rooms are comfortable, the public spaces are interesting and the owners are involved and very hospitable. We had breakfast in the on-site restaurant and aside from it being delicious, we had excellent service. I would happily stay again in any of the seasons as the community has activities all year round.

Quaint as a Victorian lace button. However lack of guests made for most services being closed during our stay. Would have loved to have a drink in their gorgeous pub. Also, make sure you try your "night code". Mine didn't work, was trapped outside for 90min after slipping out for a 5:30 cigarette.

Samantha was working the front desk and pub and made me feel very welcome. Which was great since my car had just broken down. This place really is beautiful.

The Auberge is staffed by friendly, caring people who take care of details and go the extra mile to provide service to guests. The property is a lovely old Victorian, tastefully decorated. The negative for me was the bed: very, very hard. The room we had was small, too, but there are others to choose from if they're available. We would love to return.

This is a really cool 150 year old building in the heart of Lac Brome. Like all auberges there are tons of public rooms through the building from a bar to a restaurant to sitting areas and a massive front balcony. It's a five minute walk from some great restaurants and also from the lac brome marina. Rooms are small but nice and clean and have all the features you'd need. We were there one night for a wedding. Would go back and stay several days to enjoy the space and the town.

Comfortable beds, excellent shower pressure, quiet location. If you’re into classical style furniture and decor this is a beautiful hotel! Walkable to many coffee shops and restaurants. The new owners are so pleasant and ready to help with anything you need!

The house is a beautiful Victorian mansion, well preserved and full of charming details. There are many steps to the upper floors and no elevator. Our room was comfortable and clean and the heat-A/C worked well. Breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced. We walked 10 minutes into town for shopping and other meals. I would happily stay here again.

The property is old but in good condition. While the property was full our assigned room was considerably smaller than what I had expected. The service was excellent. Breakfast at the Inn was very good and reasonably priced. If you are the last to check in you get assigned to the 3rd floor which has very small rooms.

A lovely, clean and historic Inn. I was sad to see that in the height of the summer season it only appeared to have about 1/2 a dozen guests, and the bar and dining facilities appeared to be closed. Perhaps they, like elsewhere, are having trouble getting staff... I hope it was experiencing a temporary business lull, as it would be sad to lose such a lovely and historic place.

L’auberge est quand même bien mais aurait besoin d’un peu de mise à niveau. Quand même décevant de ne pas pouvoir déjeuner sur place d’autant plus que l’offre de restauration aux alentours est très limitée.

Agréable impression d’être en l’an 1900 (ambiance, décoration). L’auberge n’offre plus le service de restauration depuis plusieurs années mais ils pourraient tout de même laisser une cafetière Keurig ou Nespresso à la disposition de leurs clients.

C’est une auberge victorienne agréable à visiter. Chambre petite mais très propre, Le personnel est courtois et le déjeuner savoureux. Belle piscine et site très calme.

Cette auberge est un musée en soi, tenu par des proprios passionnés, attendez vous pas à la modernité, un séjour qui nous ramène dans le temps et notre histoire !!! Nous avons apprécié notre séjour , même si au départ on étais pas certain ! Permettez vous de loger dans un décor exceptionnel qui a passé l’épreuve du temps !

This big property is in need of serious refurbishment mostly on outside where paint is peeling and the place looks very sad. The online picture of the front veranda must have been taken years ago. Inside it is quirky, the rooms were just fine and furnished in keeping. There is a restaurant but it was totally empty. Although they advertise that breakfast is available we found it isn’t on a Monday, it would have been nice to have been told this when we checked in. We did use the garden area with pool which was very nice, pool was very clean but not heated.
