Great accommodations. Room was clean, nicely decorated and had its own a/c and heat. Cathy, the owner is amazing! So friendly and helpful, you feel like family right away. Definitely would recommend and stay there again.

Cathy, the wonderful innkeeper, is devoted to her customers. She solved all our (minor) travel issues and offered great advice about what to see in the area. Her breakfasts were very good. The house is historic, so narrow steep stairs and small rooms might not be great for some but the charm is undeniable. Plenty of hot water, good WiFi, coffee, refrigerator and TV in our room were great. Wonderful location. We’d love to stay again.

We had such a restful and beautiful stay with Cathy! The property is quaint and in a beautiful part of town. Chairs at the front of the property had a wonderful view. Nothing was too much trouble and there were lots of lovely touches! Breakfasts just gorgeous!

Kathy was the best host ever!!! The house was amazing comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were great and the location was perfect for getting to what we wanted to see. We also took some great hikes right from the house and the town was fun to explore. We would go back in a heart beat

This place is excellent for anyone visiting Nova Scotia South Shore. Mahone Bay itself has a lot of charm and the B and B is located across the water and walking distance from everything you need. Cathy is an exuberant host. She is incredibly welcoming and was very helpful as we figured out where we wanted to visit each day. My friend and I stayed in different rooms (the Captain's Quarters and Emma's Hideaway) and they both were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and Cathy was great at making dietary accommodations. I would highly recommend!

Heritage home. Lovely room, spacious bathroom. Steep stairs, pick downstairs room if you have mobility issues. Host was lovely, friendly, informative and a great cook. Breakfasts were wonderful. Highly recommend if in this area.

As all of the other commenters have reported, this is a very cool BnB in a historic home. We stayed in Emma’s hideaway, which is the only room with 2 beds. It was perfect for our family of three. Cathy, the Innkeeper, is very personable and a great cook! Breakfast was delicious and everything about our stay was fantastic. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

First time at a B&B and we loved it!! Cathy was super friendly and gave us great tips of places to visit that we would have missed. The food was fantastic…the presentation lovely! Travelling with 2 teenagers and they were full after breakfast. We had the Emma room and it fit us comfortably. Great experience!!!

We were made to feel so very welcome from the moment we arrived at the b&b. It is in a fantastic location and is full of character… including the very knowledgeable and helpful landlady (Cathy). The breakfasts were different from the usual fare which was good! Very tasty and delicious. We were so lucky to have booked this place. Thank you Cathy we will definitely book again should we return to the wonderful NS!

The Fisherman's daughter was a lovely spot to stay in Mahone Bay. You are greeted upon arrival by the owner Cathy and she takes you on a tour of the property. Cathy is very knowledgeable about Mahone Bay and things to do. I highly recommend staying here. The bonus is her chocolate lab Murphy who is a very good boy and will hangout with you outside.

Mahone Bay was so beautiful! The Fisherman's Daughter is a great place to stay. The view is exceptional and the house is so welcoming. Our group was a party of six and Cathy went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Cannot wait to come back again!

This place is excellent for anyone visiting Nova Scotia South Shore. Mahone Bay itself has a lot of charm and the B and B is located across the water and walking distance from everything you need. Cathy is an exuberant host. She is incredibly welcoming and was very helpful as we figured out where we wanted to visit each day. My friend and I stayed in different rooms (the Captain's Quarters and Emma's Hideaway) and they both were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and Cathy was great at making dietary accommodations. I would highly recommend!

We had such a restful and beautiful stay with Cathy! The property is quaint and in a beautiful part of town. Chairs at the front of the property had a wonderful view. Nothing was too much trouble and there were lots of lovely touches! Breakfasts just gorgeous!

The Fisherman's daughter was a lovely spot to stay in Mahone Bay. You are greeted upon arrival by the owner Cathy and she takes you on a tour of the property. Cathy is very knowledgeable about Mahone Bay and things to do. I highly recommend staying here. The bonus is her chocolate lab Murphy who is a very good boy and will hangout with you outside.

We were made to feel so very welcome from the moment we arrived at the b&b. It is in a fantastic location and is full of character… including the very knowledgeable and helpful landlady (Cathy). The breakfasts were different from the usual fare which was good! Very tasty and delicious. We were so lucky to have booked this place. Thank you Cathy we will definitely book again should we return to the wonderful NS!

Cathy was an amazing hostess and made us feel welcome and comfortable in her 1850’s home. She created wonderful breakfasts (including making us fresh bagels) and provided tips of good places to visit and where to eat. I would highly recommend.

First time at a B&B and we loved it!! Cathy was super friendly and gave us great tips of places to visit that we would have missed. The food was fantastic…the presentation lovely! Travelling with 2 teenagers and they were full after breakfast. We had the Emma room and it fit us comfortably. Great experience!!!

We loved our stay here. The home was beautiful and clean. Our room was super cute (the Emma room). And Cathy was absolutely amazing! We learned a lot about the area and the history of her home. And she is a top notch cook. The breakfasts were very tasty. She puts a lot of thought into them and making them perfect for each individual. On this road trip we stayed at 8 different locations and this was our number 1 top pick - our favourite by far!

Cathy is a fantastic host. The bnb is beautiful and whimsical. My room was beautiful and the bed comfy. I’d highly recommend a stay here for a few days or longer! Will stay again.
