Blue Heron Inn

Fabulous location very close to Main Street - we like to walk and walked everywhere downtown; this location is not near the beach if that’s what you’re looking for; we wanted to be near the historic downtown and this is perfect. Our room was quite small; really just the bed, nightstands, and a small bathroom. It was small for two people. But they were booked up and so be sure to check the photos of your room when you reserve. However, the bed was very comfortable, basic amenities in the bathroom are provided. Susan is the caretaker and she was wonderful. She gave us lots of information on what to do in the area and of course she was the breakfast chef :) we enjoyed sitting on the porch, listening to the birds when we were tired from our walks and enjoying the early mornings on the porch with our coffee. It’s a lovely area. Very safe. Wonderful to walk and there are sidewalks everywhere. I would definitely stay again

The Blue Heron B&B was conveniently located and very clean. It had a beautiful sitting parlor to play games, read or relax. Breakfast was delicious and classy. The only drawback was the street noise. Since it is situated close to the main intersection, the evening was quite noisy. Overall we were very happy and it is wlkable to restaurants and shopping.
