The Hotel at Cape Ann Marina

Everything was amazing

We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was helpful. We loved our room. The restaurant was a bit small but we happened to be there when there was a live performance so it was hopping. Hot tub was welcome relief. Would definitely go back.

The rooms are fresh and spotlessly clean. Great views of the Annisquam River. Nice location outside of town. The staff was fantastic. We love the marina vibe. We stayed in January when the restaurant is only open a couple of days a week - we'll hit that up next time. We dined nearby at The Causeway - great local spot, small and BYOB.

Room was clean and fit the bill for what we needed-staff was friendly as well!

Construction was being done on my floor. Ceiling wires were exposed and low hanging. At the restaurant mile marker one I inquired if the calamari was fresh. My server did not know so they asked the other server who explained that yes it was. Upon receiving my calamari dish it was not in fact fresh. As a seafood specialist I knew it was frozen. So I was lied to by inexperienced staff. If they had just said no it’s frozen then there wouldn’t have been any issues. Following morning at breakfast at mile marker one in ordered French toast with bacon. French toast was good. Bacon had hair in it. I sent it back and was still charged for it. Overall stay 5 out of 10.
