I was concerned when I booked this and was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. It was completely renovated and super cute. It had a great layout to the room and bathroom. the parking is literally right out the front door. I imagine the price of this hotel with increase now that they have done the renovations. 2 suggestions I made to the front desk and he said they were working on it was to have either a coffee machine in each room or a nicer coffee service in the front desk area - either would have made me happy. the other was the addition of an ice machine - I had brought drinks and expected that there would be ice someplace - but no. not at this time.

The room felt and smelled very fresh and clean. The room did not have AC but leaving the window cracked open was sufficient. Walking distance to the shore. No coffee available on site but there were 2 breakfast spots walking distance. Quiet area, would definitely stay here again.

Cute and clean motel! No Elevator, thing that I like. No restaurant or breakfast included There are two delicious breakfast close to the hotel. The lighthouse and the pacific. And a convenient store also close. Very nice stay if you go to a ship vacation.

The property is updated and quite nice! Pros: Clean rooms, quiet area, free parking, large accommodations, close to Cabrillo Beach, aquarium, pier and overlook. We ate at the Lighthouse Cafe located nearby 3 times for breakfast. Cons: Vending machines were out of order. No pool or breakfast which we were aware of before booking. Small bathroom with no counter space. Wished I would have gotten a room with a kitchenette. Overall, it was a perfect spot and we really enjoyed our stay!

A pleasantly refurbished dated motel at the top of a hill in an older neighborhood. Limited, cramped parking available for customers. Very courteous staff. No AC, so cooling was left to ocean breezes through open windows and ceiling fans. Open windows invited the intrusion of noise from the common courtyard/parking lot and the passing neighborhood traffic. Suite was clean and comfortable.

The staff was amazing—So friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a perfect location for our cruise embarkation, as it was close to the cruise port. The parking was very tight, but we managed to snag a spot for the night. I wish it had AC as the rooms were stuffy, but it cooled off at nighttime and we slept well. Other family members that were at the hotel mentioned a niegjbor’s dog barking—keeping them up at night, but I didn’t hear it. The nearby Lighthouse Cafe is delightful and made an amazing breakfast and lunch. I would stay here again should I take an other cruise from this area.

I felt at home while visiting Pacific Inn & Suites. We stayed in 106. It was spacious and comfortable. There is no A/C, but we opened the windows and got a wonderful breeze. It was very comfortable. It’s been so long since I’ve enjoyed the fresh air inside. There is a guest laundry onsite. We walked to the beach and to the Lighthouse Cafe. I would stay there again.

You could tell the room was renovated recently. Very clean and comfortable. Parking wasn't great but we were able to park behind the building and it was safe. The shower was brand new and worked really well. Front desk person was helpful and friendly. I thought the location was very quaint. A cute, quiet little town San Pedro.

Cute spot. We noticed a diner on the next block, which had we not had a prior commitment elsewhere, we would have tried. Only downside is the limited parking. We got in late so there were no spots available and had to park on the street a few houses from hotel. It’s a quiet residential area so not too bad. Would stay again when in the area.

The property was recently remodeled and was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the ceiling fans were nice. It was conveniently located to the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. There are no security locks on the doors. The other downside is the bathroom sink has an open channel spout to create a waterfall effect but I think they are unsanitary. The room appeared clean but unfortunately there was a bad odor in the kitchen/living room area and there was a hair in the toilet and one in the shower.

We had two king rooms. They were done in modern fashion. Bed fairly comfortable, place quiet at night. Manager very pleasant and welcoming. Unfortunately one of our two rooms was found to have bedbugs!

The layout of the king suite didn't work well for our family. Looks freshly renovated but the metal bed frames were annoying. Anytime anyone accidentally tapped it or kicked it, it would make a loud noise. The bathroom was too small and there is unused space in the room that seemed odd. The floors were dirty when we walked in, my toddlers feet and hands were super gross after crawling for a few short minutes. The sofa bed was NOT a bed. My tween son didn't even fit on it. It's a couch that can be converted to a couch with an attached ottoman if that makes sense. He had to sleep diagonally. Great location though! Right next to Pacific Diner, and up the hill from Carrillo and tide pools.

Very clean and loads of space. Only thing was no air conditioning but there was a fan above the bed. Did get breeze through windows but as on ground floor right on street didn’t want to leave window open overnight

Nice property. No A/C which we usually wouldn’t book. There was a nice cross breeze with the bathroom and front windows open. But unfortunately you could hear dogs barking most of the night from the apartments behind us. You could also smell smoke leaving windows open all night. But overall it was a decent property.

Interesting little motel. 2 very small parking areas. One accessed from the street, one from the alley. The room was spacious. Some things were recently upgraded. The barn style door for the bathroom was a first for me and not ideal as it doesn't lock.

Needed a place to stay the night before an early morning fishing trip. This place was perfect. Very close to the landing, Inexpensive, super clean, plenty of parking and quiet. It was a bit warm though and there is no AC, just a ceiling fan in the middle of the room. Needed to leave the windows open to stay comfortable.

Cute Little Motel that was close to the beach. Clearly an older motel that had been remodeled. Rooms were nice and mostly clean. We noticed a thick layer of dust on the ceiling fan in the bedroom and some trash under the couch when we pulled it out. Biggest issue is that there was no air conditioner so the blinds and windows had to be open all night (a little uneasy when you are on the ground floor) Room was not very private as with the blinds and windows open anyone using the stair to the second floor could see directly into the bedroom. A little awkward. Facility was quite loud with screaming kids, car alarms, and barking dogs. We only stayed one night (thank goodness). The front desk was nice to extend our checkout by a half an hour because our cruise did not leave until later in the afternoon. Do have to say the little diner next door was delicious.

Check-in was fantastic! We arrived a little early, but the awesome guy at the front desk worked some magic, did a bit of rearranging, and got us into a room right away. The room itself was great — cozy, spacious, and wonderfully quiet. Exactly what we needed after a long day. Would definitely stay here again!

The hand soap smelled great. I dislike ability to reach the front desk. I called a number online and was transferred to a travel agent. They gave me the “direct line” to front desk but no one picked up. There was someone drinking and smoking outside their room, and cursing loudly yet nobody was around to stop him. This happened two nights in a row. I couldn’t sleep well will all the noise. My heater didn’t work but when I attempted to call I got no answer. The layout is awkward and walking to front desk isn’t easy if you are in the back of the property. The room looked updated so it looked nice, but the towels needed bleach. They looked dingy and stained. The couch had a stain, and the bed sheets didn’t look bleached either. I’ll definitely pay extra to stay somewhere else next time.

Check-in was fantastic! We arrived a little early, but the awesome guy at the front desk worked some magic, did a bit of rearranging, and got us into a room right away. The room itself was great — cozy, spacious, and wonderfully quiet. Exactly what we needed after a long day. Would definitely stay here again!

I am beyond frustrated with my experience at this property. I arrived for my scheduled check-in and stood in the lobby for over one hour, and not a single staff member was present. The level of neglect was staggering. I called the hotel’s phone number multiple times while standing at the front desk; I could literally hear the phone ringing right in front of me, yet no one ever came out from the back or answered. It felt like a ghost town. After 60 minutes of waiting in an empty lobby, I had to contact the third-party booking site just to find a place to sleep for the night. Even the customer service representative from the booking site tried to call the property to resolve the issue, and they confirmed that no one would pick up the phone for them either. I ended up having to scramble for last-minute accommodations elsewhere. On top of that, they had the nerve to say I was not in the correct place in response to my message! This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. If you value your time and want to actually have a room to stay in, do not book here. They clearly have zero interest in guest service or even basic operations.

We had a great stay overnight at this accommodation. With great customer service and hospitality. We came off a cruise early morning and had booked an overnight stay here. Prior to arriving I spoke to the manager who offered us an early check in and late checkout as we were flying back to Australia late afternoon the following day. We were treated so well by Raj he was so accommodating in arranging our stay (extended as it was) we paid an extra fee for our stay which was a very special fee. Thank you again. I arrived early I was allowed to come in to the room for additional fee 30.00 charge which I felt it was fair front desk was very polite and friendly.As we entered the room it was very clean no bad smells linen were clean 2 blocks from the beach.

Our stay was amazing. Two days before our cruise out of San Pedro. Raj was great and gave us lots of information about where to eat and what to see in the area. The area was quiet and an easy walk down to the beach as well as amazing ocean views just 2 blocks away. Straight up the hill to the Korean Bell with stunning ocean views. One block to the Pacific Diner and Lighthouse Cafe and a short Lyft ride to the Cruise port. The room was quiet and glad to have a ceiling fan as there was no AC. Note most eating in area closes at 3 pm but we door dashed from local places like Big Nicks for Pizza. Bed was comfy and there is a small market next door to grab wine for your cruise. Away from other cruisers so made it quiet. Fridge and microwave in the room was a nice touch. Bus 246 runs right outside and you could take that down Pacific Ave to about 3 rd and walk down hill to the cruise port if you want to save money.

Pacific Inn & Suites is a wonderful space to stay, and as a former local I have every intention of returning. Ignore any reviews from more than a year or so ago; I'm not sure when the new owners took over, but those reviews no longer apply. As a solo/female traveler, the location and safety of the immediate area cannot be beat. Across the street are two wonderful LOCAL restaurants (Pacific Diner & Lighthouse Cafe - both amazing!), the beach is a 15-minute walk away, as is the Korean Friendship Bell, which offers a wonderful view of the sunset. The rooms are clean (just as pictured), offer great space and are comfortable w/ceiling fans to boot; absolutely no issues. I appreciated the larger fridge and microwave, as well as the free on-site parking and wi-fi. Lastly, the staff is fantastic! Raj assisted me with my questions/request, and the others were friendly as well (i.e. acknowledging your presence when you/they walk by, offering to assist if they see you may need it, etc.).

Location excellent to cruise terminals or variety of restaurants, shopping or venues. One can imagine the area in the 40s & motor courts of that era. Reception outstanding. Room spacious for wife, granddaughter & self. Perfect accommodation to start a cruise.

A nice and quiet, short stay in San Pedro! Would recommend if you want to be walking distance to the water and don't mind driving 8 min to the central bar/restaurant area if needed. PROS: -Front desk was very friendly. -Early check-in option (we arrived at 12:30 pm) for an extra $25. Worth it if you're very tired and want to lay down. -Recently renovated. -2 bed suite had rooms separated by a sliding door (great if you're traveling with couples/family, but with friends it felt a little too private haha). -Big closet and desk in the main bedroom. -Microwave and mini fridge. -Walking distance to the Pt. Fermin Lighthouse and Korean Friendship Bell! 8 min drive to central area of SP. Many Doordash options (was able to order Cambodian food from Long Beach!). -Very short walk to two brunch restaurants and a liquor store (restaurants close early). CONS: -Awkward sliding door for the bathroom that didn't completely shut (we just closed the entire bedroom door for extra privacy). -No door mat to wipe your feet (it was raining so we tracked a bit of dirt inside and couldn't leave our shoes outside because of the strong winds). -No coffee table in the "living room" if you decide to eat in and watch TV (no TV in the main bedroom). -Ice machine was still being installed and no water fountain (was given 2 complimentary water bottled and popcorn though!).

The staff was friendly and kind in all aspects. The location is clean, close to a bar where the locals were inviting and a corner store all in walkable distance. There are even a couple of breakfast joints nearby that have good food.

Cute and clean motel! No Elevator, thing that I like. No restaurant or breakfast included There are two delicious breakfast close to the hotel. The lighthouse and the pacific. And a convenient store also close. Very nice stay if you go to a ship vacation.

The property is updated and quite nice! Pros: Clean rooms, quiet area, free parking, large accommodations, close to Cabrillo Beach, aquarium, pier and overlook. We ate at the Lighthouse Cafe located nearby 3 times for breakfast. Cons: Vending machines were out of order. No pool or breakfast which we were aware of before booking. Small bathroom with no counter space. Wished I would have gotten a room with a kitchenette. Overall, it was a perfect spot and we really enjoyed our stay!

The parking was very tight, but we managed to snag a spot for the night. I wish it had AC as the rooms were stuffy, but it cooled off at nighttime and we slept well. Other family members that were at the hotel mentioned a niegjbor’s dog barking—keeping them up at night, but I didn’t hear it. The nearby Lighthouse Cafe is delightful and made an amazing breakfast and lunch. I would stay here again should I take an other cruise from this area.

Now the staff here are really cool when you get a chance to talk to them but other than that it's really renovated but it's comfortable I'm in a one-bedroom suite a Park House refrigerator decent TV AC could be a little better than I have one in the master bed and that well there's no jacuzzies or pool mine is supposed to the beach and a couple restaurants everything else closer downtown to San Pedro but this place is here for being near the beach and the point
Now the staff here are really cool when you get a chance to talk to them but other than that it's really renovated but it's comfortable I'm in a one-bedroom suite a Park House refrigerator decent TV AC could be a little better than I have one in the master bed and that well there's no jacuzzies or pool mine is supposed to the beach and a couple restaurants everything else closer downtown to San Pedro but this place is here for being near the beach and the point

Great Property - Will stay here again!! Beautiful location, easy access. However there were some very minor repairs that need to happen in the room, additional information about operating the AC would be nice along with the sensor being in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius... and the floor turned my white socks grey on the bottom...

This was a convenient hotel good for a one night stay. There was very limited parking but we were able to park inside the lot while some guests had to find street parking. The microwave and refrigerator were an added bonus to the room. The AC was great at cooling the room upon arrival but had an error code and did not work the next morning when it started to get warm again. We tried to alert the front desk but no one was there. The blackout shades did not keep the sunlight out.
