Fantastic family run hotel. Clean with private car park. Spacious rooms and a pool table. Safe key fob entry. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. A two minute walk from the ferry terminal. We had a very pleasant stay and would book this hotel if traveling to Liverpool again.

Dave, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Place was very clean. Free parking was a bonus. Mersey ferry was literally a 2 minute walk. Would recommend here for a quiet break.

We stayed from Friday to Sunday, had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning staff was very helpful, free parking out the back and no hotel tax, just 10 minute drive in to liverpool city centre

The hotel staff are so friendly making us feel welcome. It is convienent for getting around, has parking and the breakfast is amazing. Would definately stay here again on next trip to Liverpool, may not be luxurious but the welcome makes it my choice.

From arrival this hotel and Dave and Co superseded our expectations. On arrival we were allocated our free parking in site and offered help with luggage. We were given advice on local area and travel tips that made things super cheaper for us! Dave was super nice and friendly, probably the best host we have ever encountered. We were taken to our room, which again superseded our expectations, it was spacious, modern, clean and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy as were the pillows and duvets. Breakfast the next morning, included with our stay was the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. It was in a freshly decorated light airy room, with tablecloths and quality dinnerware. There was a cereal choice, toast and jams, and then cooked breakfast choice with your eggs anyway you like them. This arrived promptly and freshly made along with a pot of tea, coffee was available next to the cereal. All the breakfast was of a very high quality and the toast was such lovely bread. Our bed was made daily and fresh towels if needed. We didn’t use the hotel much apart from as a base but there is a lounge area, which includes TV and pool table. There is also a bar area but not sure if this is in use. There is a ‘singhsburys’ over the road were you can buy snacks or alcohol and top up travel cards and a ferry pick up very close by. We were very impressed by this hotel and would definitely use again.

Very clean, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. No bar or restaurant but not a problem for our stay as good pub Just a short walk along the sea front. Very handy for the ferry over to Liverpool.

Dave was an amazing host. Breakfast was great and beds were comfortable Only real negative was the wifi. Even with a booster in upper hallway we lost reception upon entering our room. Easy access across the Mersey River by ferry to Liverpool. Dave proved us with cards to load for the bus/ferry system Convenient location and free car parking off the street. Would definitely stay again

It was brillant from start to finish the parking was ample for about 10 cars. It was 5 minutes away from the Seacombe Ferry Terminal also if you walk up St Paul road then turn right to Poulton road the bus stop is just there and takes you to Liverpool Centre. At a cost of £2 each way and takes about 15 minutes to city centre. The Hotels is a two storey building but you can pick what floor you want solong as they have the rooms are available, breakfast was brillant you could have any you want within reason, WIFI in all rooms with tea and coffee. The bathroom had a walk in shower. They have a pool table downstairs if you fancy it The hospitality was brillant and that nothing was too much trouble. We have been in over 30 hotel's all over Europe this year including Paris and this hotel was easily the best we have been in and as for the Price so cheap. All i can say is that we will definitely be going back here again, highly recommend. David was the manager a realy nice person.

This is a great option if you don't want to pay city centre prices. The room was spacious, spotless, the beds were comfortable with nice linen. The shower was great and it was nice and quiet and dark, we slept really well. You were also able to control the temperature in the room very easily. Also nice to stay in a genuinely run family hotel with lovely people in charge. We would stay again.

Thank you to the very friendly & helpful owner, Dave. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Good shower. Lovely breakfast. Even provided a tower fan due to the heatwave. Very close to the ferry terminal. Dave also advised a Metrolink pass for my visit to the Antony Gormley art installation at Crosby beach (a thought-inspiring and brilliant place to visit). Only thing that would have made it even better would be blackout curtains as the daylight woke me at dawn.

Brilliant stay! Room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Bed was really comfy. Everyone was really friendly and helpful with great knowledge and advice for getting around the city cost effectively and quickly. Breakfast was great!

Lovely hotel it needs a bit of tlc in parts however room clean and tidy and manager lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he took time to explain transport and where to go suggestions. Breakfast very good and tasty - all in all enjoyed stay and would definitely consider it again.

The Liver View Hotel is an excellent place to stay, just a short ferry ride across the Mersey from Liverpool. The view of Liverpool from my room was stunning. Dave is a friendly and hard working host. The room was excellent, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom clean and efficient. I loved the morning breakfast, which is substantial and tasty. (I would suggest adding yogurt and fresh fruit to the options :>) I had a great stay and recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi wasn't useable where I was in the hotel, but I feel if I had brought it up they would have fixed it, as they were very helpful. Breakfast is the best part of the stay, it is made to order.

Dave and his mom were excellent hosts! They propped my kid's stuffed shark up on the pillow which when they made the beds which was amusing. Their breakfast was excellent. Easy transit access by ferry or bus/subway to downtown Liverpool which is full of museums, restaurants and shops. Dave even provided transit cards that we just had to load with a day pass from a local shop. Our room had a good view of Liverpool across the Mersey. Highly recommended!

There is also a bar area but not sure if this is in use. There is a ‘singhsburys’ over the road were you can buy snacks or alcohol and top up travel cards and a ferry pick up very close by. We were very impressed by this hotel and would definitely use again.
From arrival this hotel and Dave and Co superseded our expectations. On arrival we were allocated our free parking in site and offered help with luggage. We were given advice on local area and travel tips that made things super cheaper for us! Dave was super nice and friendly, probably the best host we have ever encountered. We were taken to our room, which again superseded our expectations, it was spacious, modern, clean and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy as were the pillows and duvets. Breakfast the next morning, included with our stay was the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. It was in a freshly decorated light airy room, with tablecloths and quality dinnerware. There was a cereal choice, toast and jams, and then cooked breakfast choice with your eggs anyway you like them. This arrived promptly and freshly made along with a pot of tea, coffee was available next to the cereal. All the breakfast was of a very high quality and the toast was such lovely bread. Our bed was made daily and fresh towels if needed. We didn’t use the hotel much apart from as a base but there is a lounge area, which includes TV and pool table. Everything about The Liver view is perfect. The check in process was swift and hassle free. David was there to welcome us,and showed us to a lovely room. The bed was very comfortable with high quality linen and a duck down quilt. The Liver view staff - David ,Shirley and Kai's mothher were so helpful and welcoming we felt like we were staying with family.

Even before arrival I was greeted with incredible service. There is a link by check in times that advises last check in is 9pm which I didn’t see. By 9pm I was still 2 hours away and they waited to accommodate me and then was there early again for breakfast. Which was very high standard. Excellent and committed customer service from a family run business and for a price a 3rd of other hotels around Liverpool. If you are considering this hotel, then my advice is go ahead and book it. You won’t be disappointed and custom will be welcomed far greater than larger chain hotels. I will definitely revisit this hotel without hesitation. As a well travelled business man staying in many many hotels. I know when a place will go the extra mile to make your stay worth it and this place tops the charts from my experience

The owner was great, we were running late because of the terrible weather and he waited for us to arrive. The room was spotless and of a high standard. The location was great with a good location next to the Mersey Ferry. The breakfast was really nice as was the lady who served us, she was really chatty and made us feel welcome.The staff were really helpful and gave us some great advice. Lovely stay with lovely people ( their little dog was a superstar too)

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a concert in Liverpool. The hotel was warm, clean and the rooms cosy. The owner was friendly and helpful and provided us with advice on the transport links into Liverpool. The hotel is within minutes of the ferry terminal so it was no problem getting into Liverpool. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the lady serving breakfast was also very friendly…When visiting Liverpool again I would not hesitate to stay here .

Dave couldn’t have been more helpful, he supplied us with travel cards to top up for cheap ferry & bus trips and his local knowledge was a great help. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and more than adequate. The Liver View Hotel is an excellent place to stay, just a short ferry ride across the Mersey from Liverpool. The view of Liverpool from my room was stunning. Dave is a friendly and hard working host. The room was excellent, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom clean and efficient. I loved the morning breakfast, which is substantial and tasty. (I would suggest adding yogurt and fresh fruit to the options :>) I had a great stay and recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi wasn't useable where I was in the hotel, but I feel if I had brought it up they would have fixed it, as they were very helpful. Breakfast is the best part of the stay, it is made to order.

I wish all hotels did it like the Liver View, because this is how it's supposed to be done - and all for an extremely affordable rate. The car park is behind the hotel, securely tucked away. The breakfast is handmade to order and will keep you going all day. There's literally nothing to fault here and everything to love. I don't return to hotels, but I will 100% return to this one the next time I need to be in the area!

We had an absolutely fabulous 4-day stay. Everything was perfect from checking to our room on top floor with the cracking view of the mersey and the city of Liverpool. The room was spotlessly clean everything you could want. Breakfast was fantastic. Choice of cereals everything was freshly cooked to order and lovely bread for toast. The location was spot on on the quiet side of the mersey. A 3-minute walk to sea come ferry for a ride on the snowdrop the legendary mersey ferry dropping you off on the city centre side of the mersey. Plus the bus sation is also at the ferry terminal. A big massive thank you to Dave. Such a happy chappie and made us laugh all the time and nothing was too much bother and full of local knowledge. Definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again .
