5 star. Nicely renovated room. Good facilities. Location much better than expected. Very close to the small city center and no noise from the mainroad. Breakfast was perfect. Short time 8-9, but better than in most hotels.

This is a perfect place for a stay during a visit to the Highlands/Inverness/Cairngorms National Park. We stayed with our children. The breakfast was delicious. Mark our host was super helpful upon arrival and was extremely accommodating. The guest house was so clean and well furnished. We enjoyed the use of the front living room area. We also were able to do some laundry which was great. I would highly recommend this guest house!

We had such a lovely stay at the Cairngorm Guest House! Staff were incredibly friendly and eager to help. The breakfast was delicious with excellent variety of choices. The warming room was handy for drying our clothes after wet adventures in the park. Would definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay in the family room at Cairngorm Guest House. Super clean and comfortable with an incredible breakfast service included before we headed out for a day of adventuring! We really appreciated the drying room at the property after our brief and rainy visit! Parking was a bit tight, but adequate, so we loved that there were several dining options in walking distance too!

Absolutely lovely staff so helpful. Huge choice at breakfast served by friendly helpful staff. Food well cooked and presented. Bike repair issue meant we could not leave for home until much later in the day. Offered the use of residents lounge for waiting. Highly recommended.

Lovely and welcoming. The rooms were spotless and the whole place was beautifully done. Staff were friendly and helpful. Owner greeted us upon arrival which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was good, porridge was the best I had tasted. Over all a great night sleep. Highly recommend would definitely stay again.

Immaculate guest house in the heart of Aviemore. Breakfast was wonderful. Mark, the owner personally met us at check in and showed us to our room. He even gave us great recommendations for dinner and places to hike in the morning. You can really tell that he loves what he does and cares about his guests having a great experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Warm welcome from the host Mark who provided us with all the info we needed for our stay. Room was very clean, nicely decorated and had all we needed. Our only issue was that the room was small and there was limited space for our suitcases. Breakfast was spot on! Good quality food served to the table. Good value for money.

Very modern rooms at a very high standard. Breakfast had good options and also very tasty. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Location is 5 mins walk to main pubs and restaurants and 10 mins to train station. I would happily stay here again.

This is a lovely guest house - very well appointed and comfortable. The owner is extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Travelers arriving on the train should note that the guest house is approximately 6/10 of a mile from the train station. It is not a difficult walk but could be trying in bad weather.

We got delayed in getting to Aviemore before the check in time. The owner was very gracious and set up our room and gave us the code to the door. Breakfast was good but it’s not self service for the fruit, yogurt and juices. You’ll need to find a staff person to get it for you. The location was great for walking and lots of food choices nearby.

This property is 5-star; there is no question. The staff are there when you arrive, the rooms contain everything you need, and there is nothing they won’t do to assure your satisfaction. Again in the morning, they are there doing everything to please their clients. Breakfast was just delicious. Everything was fresh. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We would definitely return. Also, we loved this area. It was a pleasant surprise. It reminded us of our homeland - mini Banff, Alberta Canada

We had such a lovely stay at the Cairngorm Guest House! Staff were incredibly friendly and eager to help. The breakfast was delicious with excellent variety of choices. The warming room was handy for drying our clothes after wet adventures in the park. Would definitely visit again!

We got delayed in getting to Aviemore before the check in time. The owner was very gracious and set up our room and gave us the code to the door. Breakfast was good but it’s not self service for the fruit, yogurt and juices. You’ll need to find a staff person to get it for you. The location was great for walking and lots of food choices nearby.

Very well run guest house with excellent facilities. Room was lovely, bed super comfy. Very clean. Breakfast was amazing and all served to you. Staff very friendly and very efficient. All in all one of the best guest house we’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

Pleasant owner and nice welcome. Lots of noise heard in room 1, from the corridor and nearby rooms. Would have preferred to be able to self serve cereals with a better selection of yogurts and fresh fruit. However, cooked breakfast was excellent.

Absolutely lovely staff so helpful. Huge choice at breakfast served by friendly helpful staff. Food well cooked and presented. Bike repair issue meant we could not leave for home until much later in the day. Offered the use of residents lounge for waiting. Highly recommended.

Very friendly & helpful hosts. Great breakfast. I loved the smoked salmon. Great location in town. We were able to walk to dinner at different restaurants each night.

Wonderful, hospitable hotel in a great location with lovely helpful staff. Rooms are pretty spacious, and property is walkable to everything in Aviemore center. Beds are a bit hard and water pressure is non existent, but pretty much what to expect in Scotland!

My dad and I enjoyed our 2-night stay at Cairngorms Guest House! The breakfast each morning was very good and the staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and the location of the hotel was excellent. There were many restaurants within walking distance and a lot of cool attractions within short drives. We would definitely recommend this spot to others!
