Beautiful location, loads of character, wonderful staff. Very peaceful, great food and had a wonderful stay. I will be returning

Check in was slow but the member of staff dealing with it kept us informed. When she showed us to our room we were very pleased. It was extremely spacious with a massive bed, beautifully decorated and with lovely views from both the bedroom and the bathroom (with strategically placed vase for modesty!). The room was very clean and had everything you would expect. Tasty shortbread provided alongside the tea and coffee. We ate ‘in’ on both nights of our stay and the food was very good -XL fish and chips and whole sea bream were especially nice - and helpings generous. Ale choices were well kept and the wine list reasonably priced. Breakfast was also good with home made yogurt and bread, choices of cooked food and some very positive and welcoming staff.

loved the seclusion and situation of the property and the friendliness of the staff. Surrounding landscape beautiful. Difficult to find initially but that was largely due to road closures for roadworks so next time it should be easier.
