Hotel Catalina

Room 102 had a sliding bathroom door which was very difficult to move. The door was dropping off its support and when reported to reception the "fix" made it worse. The air con only worked occasionally. Facilities were very basic. The hotel bar was shut most of the week which may have been a blessing because it opened at the weekend and was then very noisy most of the night.

Veldig bra beliggenhet, gode senger, rent, hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale. Hyggelig takterasse, litt slitne møbler der, men fantastisk utsikt.

Koselig og rimelig hotel ved den kjente Katalina parken. Kort vei til byens severdigheter. Lyse og pene rom. Deilig takterasse for sosialt samvær om kvelden. Hyggelig bekjening.

We had a wonderful room , clean and tidy. Well laid out furniture. . Wonderful helpful staff . Super roof top terrace to sit out on. Only stopped for 2 nights. Saturday night is outside disco night so don't expect much sleep unless you are joining in. Would go there again.

Hay mucho ruido en la plaza que queda debajo del hotel y unas ventanas que no lo consiguen aislar. Si hay aire acondicionado no encontré el mando, hacia muuuuucho calor

Having stayed here several times in the past, I was surprised to find that it has changed in many ways, which I didn’t find was an improvement. Bed & Chic is now not a hotel, I would say more ‘serviced rooms’. The quality of my suite as, as before, superb. Style and content was as before, but elements beyond my door were below par. There was, and still is, a coffee ‘corner’ on site, that implies (with original signage) that guests can refresh themselves with teas and coffees. Not so! There are two shiny coffee machines that require pods; there were no pods. Realising that I needed to buy my own, I asked reception what type of capsule I needed to find at a supermarket.I was told that I could buy them from reception, and warned that if I purchased from anywhere else then they may not fit. The receptionist then sold me a double-capsule pack for two Euros; a cup for a Euro; I bought a few. The coffee was weak and not pleasant, even using two at a time AND, on research, is purchased ON,Y from Amazon in massive quantities making them as cheap as chips…nowhere near the high price charged at B&C. At a later date, when talking with the delightful manager who is sometimes onsite, I gathered that the other receptionist may have been overcharging for the coffee packs. Consequently I gave up coffee for the next twelve days of my stay. The roof terrace was always delightful, and still has the same super views, but is desperately in need of some TLC. Great location, and a nice corner room. Access was very easy but, you need to take ear plugs as a lot of noise at night, especially at the weekend. Also even though I was out of the room for long periods during the day, my room was only serviced once in five days. So positives but also some negatives

Reception was very friendly as well as the cleaning staff. The room was really spacious but oddly decorated: no place to put your suitcase and very little countertops. And they could maybe deep clean the room once - the floors were r e a l l y dirty. The kitchen was good but there could have been more dishes. The toilet door was broken and there could have been more countertops too. But the weird thing was that the top part of the wall next to the niece door was just a glass wall. You could hear everything. There was also lot of noises from the plaza - nothing the hotel could do unless they would install more isolating windows.

Lage ist gut, leider aber auch abends/nachts sehr laut. Bettwäsche war nicht sauber , Blutfleck auf Bettwäsche und Überzug/ wurde nach Reklamation (1Std später) gewechselt. Reinigungskraft kam am nächsten Morgen 9.30 Uhr ohne anklopfen ins Zimmer und ist schnell wieder raus als sie uns sah. Das geht gar nicht . Würde ich nicht nochmal buchen.

Es war wirklich sehr sauber, modern und lautlos. Wir kommen wieder!

Sucio, con manchas grandes en las sábanas en una cama ‘hecha’, goteras y herrumbre en el baño, con cableado eléctrico que no te permite apagar la luz en el cuarto a menos que quites toda la electricidad, con alta probabilidad de cortocircuito. Cucarachas en la habitación, no te cambian de cuarto cuando en plena noche se lo suplicas alegando que les tienes pánico, ya que solo atienden urgencias. Obviamente el bienestar físico y emocional del huésped, no lo es. Pero lo más sucio de todo es la actitud, la manipulación y el mal hacer de su personal. Todo lo dicho está documentado, con fotos y capturas, en las instituciones pertinentes. A menos que quieras pasar una noche de terror, no lo recomiendo. La peor experiencia vivida en un hotel hasta la fecha.

Super clean and equipped with everything needed. It really feels like you are home.

Nedslitt, kaldt vann i dusj, forferdelig støy pga uteservering nedenfor vinduet og festival. Ikke stille før ca 04.00. Møkkete glass, manglende kaffekopper. Ikke rengjøring av rom. Sengene var bra.

Riesiges Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet. Beste Lage mitten im Leben

Kamer is best groot, ben goed. Oogt wat qntiek allemaal niet echt geschikt om te werken. Locatie is op zich prima maar.met twee gezichten. Ligt pal aan st catalina plein. Dus best mooi plein met 2e centrale busstation van las palmas Maar ookhet uitgaanscentrum van las palmas. Slapen is op donderdag en vrijdaginmogelijk. Na het stappen gaat de schoonmaak direct aan de slag.. het digitale inchecken is één groot drama. App downloaden beveiliging code die niet kwam. Gedoe.

Great space/nice bathroom. Way too noisy with restaurants and bars just below and windows that don’t stop the noise. Music and loud crowd until 3 am and chatters until 5 am. If you are looking for a place to crash after partying great spot , but if you wouldn’t mind sleeping a bit I wouldn’t recommend it.

Hotel in lebhafter Umgebung und für kurze Wege zum Strand, zum Hafen mit Anbindung an viele Geschäfte und Lokalitäten. Wen die lebhafte Umgebung mit nächtlichen Aktivitäten nicht stört ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Terrible experience. Our room 107 had a window that could not close properly. Resulting in it being impossible to sleep when there is an outdoor disco outside in the same building till 3 o clock in the morning. I notified your staff, but they could not fix the window before the next day(after we would check out). Surely you must have known that the window was broken and that it must be impossible to sleep here especially during the weekends. The people staying there weekend before must have let you know!? I have travelled the world for 20 years and never experienced anything this bad. I think it’s fair that this stay is partially/fully refounded. Thank you in advance.

Very nice location and friendly desk attendants. Restaurants, shops, Santa Catalina bus station, parks..all within close walking distance .

Taxi druver couldn't find hotel as it seems to be trading under the name hotel and chic. Only a small sign on window to show we were in the right place. Room was supposed to be superior but was scruffy and badly maintained. Reception is only manned between 10am and 6pm outside those hours, access is by key card. Ours didn't work. We had to call an emergency number to get an access code. On entering the hallway and switching on the light, we found insects scurrying across the floor. At 11.30pm they were unable to offer alternative accomodation. We closed the hall door and left the light on. We slept in our clothes. When we left in the morning, the reception staff were disinterested. Even when I asked for the complai nts book, they didn't seem to care. We had booked for a second night but couln't wait leave even though we lost the cost of the room. It was the hotel from Hell!

La propiedad esta muy bien localizada

Hotel in lebhafter Umgebung und für kurze Wege zum Strand, zum Hafen mit Anbindung an viele Geschäfte und Lokalitäten. Wen die lebhafte Umgebung mit nächtlichen Aktivitäten nicht stört ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.
