basic no frills hotel. room was clean. if you are looking for a clean comfortable place to sleep for a night (or you're into a basic no frills hotel) then this hotel is for you. only thing is there are tons of bugs (ok im sorry but i cant tell the difference between wasps and hornets) that are flying around during the day. free coffee in the lobby. lots of parking.

We just needed a simple over nighter on our road trip. This hotel was easy to find on our way home. It is being renovated so there was no breakfast available, no coffee in the room. Furnishings were simple and sparse. However check in was fast, staff friendly and helpful. I’m sure when the Reno’s are complete this place will be lovely.

Don’t stop, just keep driving. This motel was dirty, had cobwebs, bugs and was NOT clean. My family and I stayed for one night. We didn’t shower because the bathroom was so dirty and in the end we slept in our clothes for just over 3 hours and then left the motel at 4am just to get out of there. Don’t stop here, just keep driving.

This motel is clean and a good, affordable option for a quick overnight stay. There are no frills, but it was comfortable enough for one night. We had to turn the AC unit off as it was making too much noise to be able to sleep. We were happy that the motel accepts pets. Would we stay here again? Probably not.

the bed was really hard to sleep on very uncomfortable not worth 141.61 that is for sure. I stayed at a small place in terrace bay ontario is was so nice but I was expecting more from a hotel chain to be honest. staff was great but definitely could use alot of attention to beds for comfort

Check in was great, fast and easy. The motel was quiet until more people started showing up. The motel looks like it went under a recent renovation. I can be picky... the flooring was done poorly. The layout of the room is a bad design (placement of furniture) the towel holder in the bathroom comes apart when you pull the towel out. Looks like the floor sits lower than before, so there's a big gap under the door to the hall which means more noise to travel in from the hallway. The exterior door and window need to be changed for better noise cancellation. The motel is near hwy 69 so throughout (random times) the night I was able to hear vehicle traffic (jake brakes from transports). At 1am I was woken up to other patrons outside yelling and going on about the personal problems in life (some womans dad doesn't love her?? And they're going to fight her boyfriend??). Same people had a dog that barked randomly throughout the night. So yeah... by the way, they allow pets... all in all... I didn't get a good night sleep...

For use this property worked as we just needed a placento crash for the night before movingnon. The beds were ok, rooms had doors that locked, it was clean and had AC. The ac in the room was very very loud which drowned out the noice for the room next to ours. Its a basic room.and shower with nothing else close but if thats all you need, and want easy access to the highway this is rhe place for you

The room seemed to be recently updated, but some things were forgotten. No lamp, just one hand towel, access was only from the outside stairs. We couldn’t charge our tablets because there was no USB port anywhere. No soundproofing.

For the price and what we were looking for it was great. It was clean and the Manager was next level. He was great, helpful, really nice, and made our two night stay on our snowmobile trip well worth it.

Its located well out of town, surrounded by a large parking lot and lots of highway traffic noise. Just be aware, nothing within walking distance, other than the OPP station or the jail! Not kidding.

basic no frills hotel. room was clean. if you are looking for a clean comfortable place to sleep for a night (or you're into a basic no frills hotel) then this hotel is for you. only thing is there are tons of bugs (ok im sorry but i cant tell the difference between wasps and hornets) that are flying around during the day. free coffee in the lobby. lots of parking.

We just needed a simple over nighter on our road trip. This hotel was easy to find on our way home. It is being renovated so there was no breakfast available, no coffee in the room. Furnishings were simple and sparse. However check in was fast, staff friendly and helpful. I’m sure when the Reno’s are complete this place will be lovely.

I enjoyed this place quite a bit while traveling through Manitoba to Toronto. It’s a wonderful budget hotel; I’d say the nicest available at that price. Interesting decor that’s very quirky. I wish there was some breakfast in the morning. There’s “free coffee every morning” which is kind of stale considering every other hotel has free coffee anytime. Beyond that, good stuff!

Had to call for service at 2:30 in the afternoon. Advertised restaurant was closed. Could see light all around the door that I had to slam to close. On the other note, room was clean and staff was courteous and helpful.

Staff was very good, clean rooms, convenient to get onto Highway 69 to Toronto but inconvenient when tired to travel back into Sudbury for food. Found quiet so slept well.

Horrible experience. The staff and owner tried on several occasions to over charge us for our rooms. Initially they tried to charge us $100 over what our booking was for and then the next morning they tried to come up with new reasons why we had to pay extra.

We booked a two night stay. There was some attempt at rationalizing a lack of clean towels daily which I translated as the establishment's excuse for being unwilling to spend the money for guest comfort. There was not even an attempt to rationalize two towels and one facecloth for three adults. They did state that there would be a "refresh." This apparently meant that it was the hotel's excuse for not being bothered to show up for the duration of our stay. The mattresses were probably older than I am (I'm 80) and provided exactly the lack of comfort one would expect from mattresses that should have been discarded along about the time they were unloaded from the Ark. I had a premonition of the foregoing when,upon attempting to check in, I was greeted by a sign that said that I could ring the bell and someone would turn up in about five minutes. Other than those issues it was a fantastic stay (sarcasm intended.)

I chose value hotels when I am on the road. In this particular case I stayed at this Motel 6 to be in close proximity to friends. I won't return. To be fair, they appear to be doing some upgrades but for the the current condition, the location and the comfort I think it should be priced lower. The building is sketchy looking from the street, the halls are dog-eared and worn. The room has been updated with the cheapest of materials. I can tolerate all of the above, but the window AC unit was noisy, so I turned it off. Regardless there was some other continuous loud noise (sounding like a compressor or refrigeration unit) somewhere nearby that was disturbing. There are much better choices in Sudbury.
