We loved this hotel! Great lobby, beautiful fire, interesting interior design, amazing staff, great breakfast for a great price. Rooms were very comfortable, beds plush and cozy. We slept great! Easy to get to rooms from parking lot. We loved this town, beautiful walk to the water in the morning and through a gorgeous church and ancient graveyard.

Lovely hotel and pub. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and it was wonderful to sit and have a drink by the open fire. The bar is 24hours for residents and the food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful village. Everything was top shelf except the service. When I checked in, the girl at the front desk did not smile or make eye contact. Make me feel like I was bothering her. Showed me to my room and not once did I see a smile. Later in the evening, I went to have a drink. The only bar is in the dining room, but you cannot sit in there only for a drink. You must take your drink into the library. That is fine but the bartender did not smile or engage at all. In fact, he told me if I wanted another drink, I should stand at the doorway to the restaurant until someone spoke to me. I met a lovely couple in the library from England and he had no problems going into the bar to order a drink. At one point, the manager was behind the bar. Again, no smiles or welcoming behavior. This was my last stop in Scotland and the one to which I was most looking forward. I was quite disappointed as everyone else that I had encountered during my week in Scotland had been warm and welcoming. Again, the hotel and town are lovely.

The reception staff were really helpful in helping me find a larger parking space for my truck and trailer. Communication was excellent. The hotel is very pretty, with a really nice lounge area. My single room was cosy and very comfortable. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel, wonderful location. Nice bar, good breakfast, plenty of parking - a great place for our one night stop. The only bizarre thing missing... a shower curtain!! In our 2 rooms, we had a bath with a good shower but no curtain!

Loch Lomond Arms was a beautiful property near the lake. Our room was beautiful and cozy, like something out of a novel (save for some stains on the bathroom curtain). The small town was lovely and safe, with an easy stroll down the street to the lake and a pier. However, a shower curtain and fan for the bathtub/shower would be really appreciated for those of us who take showers, and help prevent the bathroom from getting to moist.

Room was spotless and the quality of service provided all staff was excellent. Our evening meal and breakfast were also superb. The village and area around the hotel were beautiful and worth exploring.

This hotel was very expensive for what it was. The room itself was alright, but we thought the bathroom was basic and a bit tired and worst of all, it only had a hand-held shower over the bath. After a day of driving, all we wanted was a long, hot shower. We asked to swap rooms, but no other rooms were available. We feel, by modern standards, that we should be able to expect a shower in a hotel room of this price point. However, the staff were pleasant and the meal in the bar was very nice and a reasonable price, so all was not lost.

Excellent in every aspect from arrival to departure. Rooms very well equipped, spotlessly clean and tidy with ample towels and additional bedding available. Staff very friendly, helpful and courteous. We ate several meals at the hotel and all were delicious and reasonably priced. We have stayed at the hotel numerous times previously and will definately be returning in future.

This hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were nothing but helpful and went out of our way to make our honeymoon trip special. The room we had 'Lomand' was incredible and the four poster bed of my dreams. The claw bath was also a highlight and the room was clean and bright. The lounge with an open fireplace was great for having a drink before dinner and the dinner and breakfast we had was delicious! A beautiful walk around Luss in the morning and to the Loch. A 5 star property we couldnt fault. Our only regret was that we didnt spend another night. Thanks for the goodies during our stay. We will be recomending to friends and family at home.

I only spent one night here but I thought the the hotel was very good. The room was spacious and very comfortable, couldn’t get the TV to work but that could be me. The evening meal was good and served well. One note to let it down, the surly staff member at breakfast is no help to your business.

The service provided by the staff was friendly and efficient. I was expecting a more luxurious and more comfortable room for £245 per night. The food in the restaurant was lovely if a little on the pricey side considering that we were essentially eating in the bar area. I didn’t complain during our stay as we were there for a special occasion and I didn’t want to detract from this.

Terrible communication. Needed to move room to another day due to ferry issues They didn’t pickup the phone . Didn’t return calls after leaving voice message and when they did pickup . Promised it was all good and a new booking was sorted then 2 days later took my money and didn’t swap booking and hotels.com where just as useless at sorting . No room no refund just money taken for nothing

A lovely hotel in a beautiful village. Everything was top shelf except the service. When I checked in, the girl at the front desk did not smile or make eye contact. Make me feel like I was bothering her. Showed me to my room and not once did I see a smile. Later in the evening, I went to have a drink. The only bar is in the dining room, but you cannot sit in there only for a drink. You must take your drink into the library. That is fine but the bartender did not smile or engage at all. In fact, he told me if I wanted another drink, I should stand at the doorway to the restaurant until someone spoke to me. I met a lovely couple in the library from England and he had no problems going into the bar to order a drink. At one point, the manager was behind the bar. Again, no smiles or welcoming behavior. This was my last stop in Scotland and the one to which I was most looking forward. I was quite disappointed as everyone else that I had encountered during my week in Scotland had been warm and welcoming. Again, the hotel and town are lovely.

The reception staff were really helpful in helping me find a larger parking space for my truck and trailer. Communication was excellent. The hotel is very pretty, with a really nice lounge area. My single room was cosy and very comfortable. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The property is just fine. Rooms good, good price and food delicious. The service was slow, unpleasant and not accommodating particularly the bartender who has a sour disposition and a sour puss. In the service industry you should have a baseline of a pleasant personality, not here though…

We loved this hotel! Great lobby, beautiful fire, interesting interior design, amazing staff, great breakfast for a great price. Rooms were very comfortable, beds plush and cozy. We slept great! Easy to get to rooms from parking lot. We loved this town, beautiful walk to the water in the morning and through a gorgeous church and ancient graveyard.

Loch Lomond Arms was a beautiful property near the lake. Our room was beautiful and cozy, like something out of a novel (save for some stains on the bathroom curtain). The small town was lovely and safe, with an easy stroll down the street to the lake and a pier. However, a shower curtain and fan for the bathtub/shower would be really appreciated for those of us who take showers, and help prevent the bathroom from getting to moist.

Lovely hotel and pub. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and it was wonderful to sit and have a drink by the open fire. The bar is 24hours for residents and the food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

I only spent one night here but I thought the the hotel was very good. The room was spacious and very comfortable, couldn’t get the TV to work but that could be me. The evening meal was good and served well. One note to let it down, the surly staff member at breakfast is no help to your business.

The service provided by the staff was friendly and efficient. I was expecting a more luxurious and more comfortable room for £245 per night. The food in the restaurant was lovely if a little on the pricey side considering that we were essentially eating in the bar area. I didn’t complain during our stay as we were there for a special occasion and I didn’t want to detract from this.

Food was truly delicious, staff were attentive and location is ideal. Annex rooms are a little jaded, but very cosy and clean. Price is competitive for the area, and sits somewhere between the budget B+B and the full Spa experience, as you would expect.

We enjoyed a lovely 1 night stay at the recently refurbished/redecorated Loch Lomond Arms Hotel. Check-in was seamless thanks to Lindsay who showed us to our room and told us a bit about the room name. The added touches in the room were lovely - whisky, gin and chocolates. The scallop starter is ridiculously overpriced for what it is - one scallop, pea puree and a haggis bonbon for £25. Never before have we paid that price for a singular scallop! At breakfast, perhaps the staff could explain the breakfast setup to guests when seating them. We didn't know the continental selection was available in the next room as we weren't told and several other tables also had to ask. Apart from the 2 points above, our stay was very enjoyable and our large room was very comfortable.
