Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Elmira Corning

Staff was very helpful the elevator was not working and they found a room on the 1st floor for us.

8am breakfast hot food was gone, bathroom could have used a better cleaning, tears in the carpet.

The hot water in the shower took forever to heat up. The breakfast options were ... suboptimal. Staff were attentive and friendly. Location is what it is. It's a hotel in the middle of a parking lot.

The hot water in the shower was non-existent, luke warm at best. Other than that, all good. The lady at the front desk could have let my friend in the door instead of letting her stand in the foyer in sub-zero weather while I parked the car. I understand the safety issues but a midnight in sub-zero weather who shows up except hotel guests?
