Gli ospiti lodano le camere recentemente ristrutturate, molto pulite, con soffitti alti e grandi finestre. La colazione continentale è semplice, e c'è anche un bar in cantina e una caffetteria in loco. This is our second visit to the Cornerstone Inn and we’ll come back again if we’re in the area. It’s a quaint, clean, well appointed hometown hotel. There are only 7 rooms, we’ve stayed in #3 both times. They offer a basic continental breakfast, nothing special. There is a coffee shop next door at street level. There is also an underground bar that’s cool in the basement (the W Down Under) with limited food offferings. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Lots of unique shops in the area. The hotel is old but VERY clean, high ceilings, big windows, ann old brick building. Cool.

Our room had huge windows that were paper thin. We could hear every car truck and motor vehicle go by all evening long. We also could hear a lot of loud music from a bar in the basement of the building and people laughing and talking outside our window until approximately 2 AM. Our room also had large windows that faced to the inside of the building toward the hallway, which was extremely well lit. Unfortunately, it also lit up our room all night long. The stairs in the Inn, are very steep and quite narrow. If you are anyone with any type of mobility issue, this is not a place for you. Additionally, we never saw a single staff member during our one week day. Anything we needed, we had to text a phone number to get. We found that pretty inconvenient at times. All in all, I would not stay there again because I did not find it the least bit restful.

It was just okay. The room was nice - but it doesn't seem to be ADA compliant. When you get off the elevator - you still have to walk up 8 stairs. The location is great - the room is like a cool old haunted 19th century building. It was just an off putting experience. It was okay

The Inn is a wonderful, quaint property. My room was spacious and very comfortable. So much nicer than a chain hotel. The propety is clean and in a great location. Lots of little shops to visit on the square if you have the time. There is also a great coffee shop downstairs!

The room was extremely clean, spacious, and well supplied. All 3 times that we have stayed there the bathroom is freezing in the summertime and there is no way to control it. I know it is hot and humid, but save yourself some money and set it warmer than 67. It has a lot of stairs. There is a small, old elevator, but you still need to climb 6 steps. The street noise and trains can be loud at times.

Super cute place that has been rehabed into a 7 room hotel. My room had beautiful hallway with lead glass windows before the bedroom. Very big room and mega shower...Coffee shop in the same building and rest/bar in bottom. Cute shops outside the building . Only a quick pit top for me so only slept and left. But would come back

Utrolig lækker lokaler. Højt til loftet, rummeligt og nyt. Bemærk her der der ikke en receptionen, det minder mere en en flot bed and breakfast. Der er et morgenmads udvalg, men det er ikke så lækkert at det er det samme som stod der aftenen før. Da vi ankom var der meget stille, men det ændrede sig senere på aftenen, for udenfor vinduerne var der en masse larmende ting på taget, måske ventilationer eller lign. Det larmer så meget at har man ikke et godt sove hjerte, så er det ikke her man skal sove her. Lige nedenunder er der en hyggelig café der har åben til 5 pm og en pub i kælderen.

This beautiful Inn was amazing. Vintage building with modern amenities, beautiful floors (no carpet!🙂--yey!). Bathroom new, high ceilings, right on main street. The owner, Josie, was super accommodating and very nice. Check in was a breeze, and there's a coffee shop downstairs, although there is a light continental breakfast available at no charge at the Inn. Loved it, we will definitely be back.

Feels like living in a nice city condo rather than a hotel.I like that there is a nice coffee shop downstairs and also a pizza place to eat. Great place to just stay. No workout or pool. Just simple and clean.

Lovely accommodations! We were in Room 4 which overlooks Main St but was mostly quiet. Very clean, nicely appointed, comfy bed. Looks like the building was recently renovated from a bank to a 7 room Inn. Simple, basic continental breakfast. Very nice!

This is a beautiful property - it is unique in the sense that the property is composed of only 7 rooms in total. But this uniqueness makes it very special. The owner/manager is accomodating and has an open, beautiful personality. The rooms are beautiful and super clean. I have never stayed in a hotel like this and was quite leary when I pulled up to the door, but I found the property to be exactly what I like. My stay was different, unique, but absolutely pleasant and beautiful. I spoke with Josie several times, before and during my stay. She is a super manager and her accomodating attitude made a big difference in my satisfaction level. I don't know who designed the rooms at this property, but it was definitely top-notch!

Our stay at The Cornerstone Inn was wonderful! The inn was immaculate and beautifully updated, making for a very comfortable and relaxing experience. The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The only minor issue was that we could hear some noise from the bar three floors down. It wasn’t overly loud, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The historic charm of the property was wonderful. The room and bath were spacious and very clean. Our daughter loved the hotel and will recommend it to visiting friends and family. This will be our hotel of choice when we come to Washington.

Cute property. Loud party went late in their private room. They were breaking rules of having door opened and partying in the hallway. Also, band from bar below was loud. Everything in the room was wonderful. Staff was very kind.

I stayed for two nights and never saw any staff. My key was left at the front desk but did not get a basic overview of the building. Safety was questionable as all the doors were open late for anyone to enter guest room area. The room was great and very comfy but the road noise was very loud. You will need to use white noise to sleep. Bathrooms are very nice as well.

There's only 6 rooms at this location, it used to be a bank. Coffee shop is on the first floor(which has good coffee), and restaurant in the basement we didn't make it to. Rooms are big with 12-14ft high ceilings.

The room itself was ok although it was 52 degrees in there when we checked in the day before Thanksgiving. So it was a bit chilly getting dressed for a wedding reception that evening. And I would definitely not recommend staying on a weekend or a night before a non-workday. We could hear music and loud conversations from the bar downstairs until about 1am. Also don’t stay in room 7 unless you don’t care that the lights from the hallway shine into your room all night. And the bed is truly the definition of “firm”. Didn’t eat breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

Stayed one night on a longer trip. Room was lovely however, there was way too much light from the hallway getting into the room via a stripof windows that werent accessable or blinded. The light was on all night. Bring a sleep mask. Poor excuse for breakfast too.

A quaint little boutique hotel just a shirt drive from Peoria! We stayed in a room that had a great view of the city square and fountain. The room itself was beautifully renovated (we were in room 3). Tje best part? The continental breakfast snacks were available any time!

It is a nice historic building. It has been renovated very nicely. There isn't a staff person sitting at a front desk. My key was in a large envelope with my name printed very large, and left on the front counter, next to another guests, with their name printed very large on the envelope. So much for privacy... Located on a corner in the town square, on a main street. Was quiet thru the night, after 11pm on a Monday night.

Had reservations, after driving 9 hours I pulled up at 8:45 and the doors were locked and lights were off. Might be a nice place just make sure they are open if you get delayed because of weather.

This is a beautiful property - it is unique in the sense that the property is composed of only 7 rooms in total. But this uniqueness makes it very special. The owner/manager is accomodating and has an open, beautiful personality. The rooms are beautiful and super clean. I have never stayed in a hotel like this and was quite leary when I pulled up to the door, but I found the property to be exactly what I like. My stay was different, unique, but absolutely pleasant and beautiful. I spoke with Josie several times, before and during my stay. She is a super manager and her accomodating attitude made a big difference in my satisfaction level. I don't know who designed the rooms at this property, but it was definitely top-notch!

The room is beautiful. The stay was quiet. The only drawback was you have to text or call staff when you need something. They do not sit at the front desk. However, they do respond to the text. Staff are nice and polite. I plan to stay again.

Although the staff leaves your keys at the front desk, they answer immediately when you call them. Washington is a quaint little town, and we liked how this older building was renovated with a modern and clean look. It was very quiet during our staff and a continental breakfast was easily accessible when we left early in the morning. We would return if we visit the area again, and we'd love to take more time to explore the area.

This is our second visit to the Cornerstone Inn and we’ll come back again if we’re in the area. It’s a quaint, clean, well appointed hometown hotel. There are only 7 rooms, we’ve stayed in #3 both times. They offer a basic continental breakfast, nothing special. There is a coffee shop next door at street level. There is also an underground bar that’s cool in the basement (the W Down Under) with limited food offferings. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Lots of unique shops in the area. The hotel is old but VERY clean, high ceilings, big windows, ann old brick building. Cool.

Wonderful place in perfect downtown location. The only thing I would change is that the rooms have a very small tv- especially since the rooms are so large.

It was just okay. The room was nice - but it doesn't seem to be ADA compliant. When you get off the elevator - you still have to walk up 8 stairs. The location is great - the room is like a cool old haunted 19th century building. It was just an off putting experience. It was okay

The Inn is a wonderful, quaint property. My room was spacious and very comfortable. So much nicer than a chain hotel. The propety is clean and in a great location. Lots of little shops to visit on the square if you have the time. There is also a great coffee shop downstairs!

Super cute place that has been rehabed into a 7 room hotel. My room had beautiful hallway with lead glass windows before the bedroom. Very big room and mega shower...Coffee shop in the same building and rest/bar in bottom. Cute shops outside the building . Only a quick pit top for me so only slept and left. But would come back

Lovely accommodations! We were in Room 4 which overlooks Main St but was mostly quiet. Very clean, nicely appointed, comfy bed. Looks like the building was recently renovated from a bank to a 7 room Inn. Simple, basic continental breakfast. Very nice!

Utrolig lækker lokaler. Højt til loftet, rummeligt og nyt. Bemærk her der der ikke en receptionen, det minder mere en en flot bed and breakfast. Der er et morgenmads udvalg, men det er ikke så lækkert at det er det samme som stod der aftenen før. Da vi ankom var der meget stille, men det ændrede sig senere på aftenen, for udenfor vinduerne var der en masse larmende ting på taget, måske ventilationer eller lign. Det larmer så meget at har man ikke et godt sove hjerte, så er det ikke her man skal sove her. Lige nedenunder er der en hyggelig café der har åben til 5 pm og en pub i kælderen.

There was no one at the desk when we arrived just an envelope with our name and the room key in it. No one was at the desk when we left either. If you sleep best in the dark, it will be necessary to have a sleeping mask. Breakfast was a disappointment.

Stayed one night on a longer trip. Room was lovely however, there was way too much light from the hallway getting into the room via a stripof windows that werent accessable or blinded. The light was on all night. Bring a sleep mask. Poor excuse for breakfast too.

A quaint little boutique hotel just a shirt drive from Peoria! We stayed in a room that had a great view of the city square and fountain. The room itself was beautifully renovated (we were in room 3). Tje best part? The continental breakfast snacks were available any time!

Very clean and nice room (rm 4) The big windows were pretty looking over the square and cool to be in the actual corner of the building. Only negative about stay was the street noise - could hear people’s conversations hanging out on the steps of the coffee house at night AND it was Friday night kareoke at the basement bar that I could hear and know what songs were being sung after 10pm.

There is no staff present. When you get up to the check-in counter on the 3rd floor there was an envelope with my name on it. The envelope contained a short info sheet, our room keys and a laminated card with the door code. Unfortunately, the door code was incorrect (the numbers were inverted). There is a phone number at the desk if there are any problems. There was another guest envelope on the counter so I checked the card in there and the code listed there was the correct one. The Guest rooms floor is all chopped up with several steps up or down to get around. We were in room 7 (the last one). After walking all around the floor, we discovered that the door next to ours marked “laundry” actually opened to the check-in counter office. The room was very large with a huge bathroom. The king size bed and linens were very comfortable and the TV had cable with all of the premium channels, although we didn’t try any of them to see if they were just listed or if you had to sign in. The breakfast consisted of a bowl of oranges and apples, individual cereal servings and prepackaged pastries, serviceable but nothing special. A couple of words of caution; our room had a very long entry hall running parallel with the outer hallway. The upper part of the very tall wall is painted glass windows and the light from the outer hall still gets through so the room is not dark at night. The hotel is on Washington Square which functions as a large traffic circle and is very busy and loud.
