There is no reception desk at this hotel so you have to contact them on the day to say when arriving. I did this and arrived within 15 mins of my estimated time but there was no one there when I got there. I then had to ring the hotel and a friendly female arrived very quickly. This hotel only had rooms and no other facilities. The bar restaurant was closed and only opened for breakfast the next morning. Basically the hotel was just rooms. My room on the ground floor which was for people with reduced mobility, was very dark and gloomy, although clean. The room was on its own alongside a busy road. The blinds were down as there would have been no privacy with them open. For the same reason I was unable to open the window. There was air conditioning however which was much needed. Sitting from mid afternoon, in a very dark room until bedtime, with no view wasn’t much fun. The light in the room wasn’t adequate. There was nowhere to sit outside. The bathroom, bed and breakfast were all fine but I wouldn’t stay here again, unless I was arriving late at night and leaving early the next morning. Don’t know why the restaurant and bar were closed on a Saturday night.
