Lovely little place, with some really nice staff who helped us out when we were in a pickle getting to a wedding. The room was a lovely size and quirky and glad they maintained the character of the property. Being above a pub it was a bit noisy on the Friday night but it was expected and quietened about 11ish, the next day as we were at a wedding it didn’t bother us at all since we were out. Really easy to check in when the pub was shut when we arrived which was great.

Wonderful pub, full of character in very peaceful setting. Lovely bright room looking out on the garden and you can hear the sound of the birds. Good well-appointed en-suite with easy to use shower. Only 26 minutes drive to Stonehenge!

Cute cottage, not for anyone mobility challenged. Very hot bedroom, didn't sleep much because of that (need lighter weight duvets), shame as otherwise lovely room & very quiet. Lovely to eat supper overlooking the field of sheep and lambs. Food was average. Pub chairs could be more comfy. Breakfast rather small (a full english was one mushroom, 1 small sausage, 1/2 tomato, scrambled egg & 2 very crispy bits of bacon. Had to request toast. Cold option was lovely but limited, juice, granola, yogurt & compote. Nice walks to be had from the door (we enjoyed the river walk through fields to a church, starting virtually opposite the pub).

Beautiful, cosy 14th century inn with rooms. Picture postcard perfect and in a great location for walks and a short drive to Tisbury High Street. Food in the pub was excellent as was choice of drinks. Plenty of car parking right opposite
