Loved it! The evening meal was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom lovely, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Breakfast pastries lovely only criticism was they only had regular coffee which I am unable to drink caffeine, there was no option for decaf.

The Inn was so quaint and cute! It was a peaceful place to stay and rest while working at a local facility over the holiday weekend. “Full breakfast” was danishes, oranges and coffee, and nothing was available my 2nd day. Fair warning you can hear everything above you if you’re on the first floor. I was also barely able to find parking coming back after working overnight on my 2nd day. No TV, if that’s important to anyone. A great selection of books and games are available to borrow.

This was a good value, but a few drawbacks. It is not well insulated so you can hear people in other rooms easily. The included free breakfast was pathetic: coffee, water, apples, cold, stale pastries. However, having a dining room at night was a convo. The food was good and the restaurant pleasant. In the hall was a coffee maker with supplies. The staff was pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. It was ok for us since we were staying just two nights and did not need much as we were there to celebrate a special friends birthday. The grounds were lovely. On a pleasant day, one could only sitting outdoors. A lot of pluses and a few minuses. Overall, it’s a pleasant place.

The Carriage house was beautiful and quaint. When I asked for a room on the first floor, they sent me over to the chimney house which needed a lot of updates, was decorated tacky, and had low water pressure. If they had just given me a room on the first floor which there appeared to be plenty of, I would have given them 5 stars because the staff was very friendly and the restuarant was great.

The overall experince was great. I have one complaint during our stay. We arrived during a storm so parking was pretty much taken up, most likely due to patrons going to the restaurant onsite. I guess my problem is why are there not designated parking for people who pay to stay overnight or multiple overnights! We checked in and advised the person at the desk and she basically said I have no ideavwhere you can park. Unexceptible, especially when you have customers who paid to stay over night and most likley have driven from out of state only to be told upon arrival "i dont know where you can park" i highly recommend desinated parking for overnight stays.

Beautiful picturesque grounds on the side of a mountain. The inn is quaint nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and the restaurant menus is excellent.

It’s a beautiful serene place to stay in. The staff is very welcoming. However, we were not satisfied with not having a full breakfast available as it was advertised on the website. The staff member called and let us know ahead of time but it was too late for us to find another place on short notice. The beds are not comfortable at all and room has a funky smell because of being a very old wooden property. The outdoor has huge spider webs and bathroom had spiders too which is understandable as it’s out in a literal forest. Nonetheless it’s a beautiful place and the staff , especially Jennifer is very friendly and welcoming. She helped us plan our day trips and made sure everything was nice. Overall it was a good experience.

The property was really beautiful and had an amazing view of the mountains and fall foliage. The outdoor area was very “romantic movie-like” which was a lovely experience. The hotel was well heated, and the room we got was very cozy and clean. Some of the appliances (like a small fan in assuming is used in the summer?) were outdated, but it wasn’t that much of an issue. The area is very safe, although at night we had some issues with a very large wasp, a beetle, and a wolf spider in our room, and there wasn’t anyone around to help us. Also, they do not have bug spray as we found out the next morning, so if you’re not into bugs bring some with you just in case. Also, we ordered a fruit basket to celebrate an anniversary and some details were missed (mis-written card, some wrong items). Finally, we thought we booked a different room from the one we thought we booked from the Expedia pictures. None of these details were a big issue, and we had a really great experience overall, but these are just some small overlooked things that could be improved. :)

Upon arrival we decided to dine in their restaurant. My wife requested to be seated on the screened in porch and the hostess did so and when seating us informed us that if gets chilly she would not reseat us inside. There were dead flies everywhere. After our second night we requested our room to be serviced, after spending the day visiting some sights we returned back late afternoon to find nothing had been done to our room. We departed on day three and my wife checked under the bed to make sure that nothing was left behind. There were someone’s dirty clothes (underwear) and a very lot of dirt and dust underneath. We were disgusted! The restaurant staff were RUDE. The room was disgusting. The food was mediocre at best. Definitely will never recommend or revisit.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean, breakfast was delicious and the in room fireplaces divine. The weather was perfect which only made things better. Our hosts were friendly, helpful but not intrusive. It was simply a great trip.

Beautiful property. Very secluded. Nice restaurant on site. The lady walked me to my room, and remembered my name and also my son’s name when I checked out (without looking). Most comfortable bed ever. Wish room had a TV but I got the cheapest room. Only could stay for one night but I’m going back definitely when I can just sit and RELAX…

A number of issues with the room. For starters, it is advertised as a queen size bed when it’s a full, the toilet was broken and not flushing properly and was constantly running which was quite load. Along with the bathroom was the shower which was “warm” at best, and the shower head was so hard for pressure through these little stream holes that you couldn’t even take a shower and enjoy it do to it hurting your skin. When we got back to our room, the outside key pad wasn’t working (it’s an electronic key pad that has a passcode) so we were locked out of our room for almost 10 minnutes trying to get it to work. Finally, when it came time to go to sleep, the AC was working intermittently and would kick on so loud that it woke you up and would staying running so loud to the point where we had to shut it off in order to sleep. Overall was probably the worst stay I’ve had in the area, and while the room seemed to be a cute option at first, I couldn’t ever recommend it to anyone else.

Location was pretty easy to find. Check-in/out were unique as it was all done by text. There were lots of hummingbirds in the flowers along the drive so that was nice. Did not eat dinner there so can’t rate the restaurant. Disappointed that our reservation said full breakfast but all that was available was store bought pastries. We had a lower floor room in the carriage house and when the people in the room above us walked across the floor( a lot), the sound of the squeaking floor was quite annoying.

The property was really beautiful and had an amazing view of the mountains and fall foliage. The outdoor area was very “romantic movie-like” which was a lovely experience. The hotel was well heated, and the room we got was very cozy and clean. Some of the appliances (like a small fan in assuming is used in the summer?) were outdated, but it wasn’t that much of an issue. The area is very safe, although at night we had some issues with a very large wasp, a beetle, and a wolf spider in our room, and there wasn’t anyone around to help us. Also, they do not have bug spray as we found out the next morning, so if you’re not into bugs bring some with you just in case. Also, we ordered a fruit basket to celebrate an anniversary and some details were missed (mis-written card, some wrong items). Finally, we thought we booked a different room from the one we thought we booked from the Expedia pictures. None of these details were a big issue, and we had a really great experience overall, but these are just some small overlooked things that could be improved. :)

Clean and stunning views. Cozy and safe. One of the most comfortable beds, pillows and soft sheets I've ever had. This is NH magic. Definitely not a chain hotel. That's a good thing. Restaurant stunning, elegant and cozy. This is a magic place for sure.

Loved it! The evening meal was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom lovely, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Breakfast pastries lovely only criticism was they only had regular coffee which I am unable to drink caffeine, there was no option for decaf.

The Carriage house was beautiful and quaint. When I asked for a room on the first floor, they sent me over to the chimney house which needed a lot of updates, was decorated tacky, and had low water pressure. If they had just given me a room on the first floor which there appeared to be plenty of, I would have given them 5 stars because the staff was very friendly and the restuarant was great.

The overall experince was great. I have one complaint during our stay. We arrived during a storm so parking was pretty much taken up, most likely due to patrons going to the restaurant onsite. I guess my problem is why are there not designated parking for people who pay to stay overnight or multiple overnights! We checked in and advised the person at the desk and she basically said I have no ideavwhere you can park. Unexceptible, especially when you have customers who paid to stay over night and most likley have driven from out of state only to be told upon arrival "i dont know where you can park" i highly recommend desinated parking for overnight stays.

The property itself is gorgeous, and the room we had was so cozy and warm. Max’s pub had really good food, and I loved the complimentary breakfast. There were some issues with finding staff when we needed them - every time I needed someone I had to track them down. And I think the biggest issue I had with my stay here was the fact that they allow pets. My partner and I tried to go to bed early so we could get to go skiing, but the room below us had a dog who would not stop whining - it almost ruined the trip. The reason we came out to this isolated area was to get some peace and quiet, but that dog made our trip worse. It’s not the staff’s fault that one of their customers decided to bring a noisey dog, but I do hope they change their pet friendly policy, as it can be disruptive to guests without animals. I can’t wait to stay here again, but my wish for next time is to have a more readily available staff and more peace and quiet.

Upon check in we were greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies in our room! We had dinner that evening in their restaurant and the short ribs were delicious! The grounds around the property were impeccably manicured. The staff were very friendly and Jenn the owner even came and talked to us at our dinner there. We were very impressed.

Our room had a beautiful view to watch the sunsets and sunrises over the mountains,,,,while sitting in comfortable chairs and enjoying drinks and a snack....wonderful knowledgeable staff to make your stay everything you desire...it is located perfect for your day hike in the white mountains....great restaurants if you arrive when theirs is not open....and shopping outlets too within close proximity....a must stay when in New Hampshire you will not be disappointed....

Stayed one night. Kept in touch with Jen via text to let her know when we would be arriving as was driving up from Mass. Nice comfortable room (only gripe is we were not shown the thermostat for heating - we stayed late Oct. I found it in the morning so was able to turn on heating). Decent breakfast options freshly cooked. If visiting, definitely drive up to Mt Fosse and take the short hike to the top for 306 views.

This was a good value, but a few drawbacks. It is not well insulated so you can hear people in other rooms easily. The included free breakfast was pathetic: coffee, water, apples, cold, stale pastries. However, having a dining room at night was a convo. The food was good and the restaurant pleasant. The room was immaculate and ok in size. The bathroom was very small with no place to put toiletries. There was a small vanity that fit two small cosmetic bags. In the hall was a coffee maker with supplies. The staff was pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. It was ok for us since we were staying just two nights and did not need much as we were there to celebrate a special friends birthday. The grounds were lovely. On a pleasant day, one could only sitting outdoors. A lot of pluses and a few minuses. Overall, it’s a pleasant place.

My wife requested to be seated on the screened in porch and the hostess did so and when seating us informed us that if gets chilly she would not reseat us inside. There were dead flies everywhere. After our second night we requested our room to be serviced, after spending the day visiting some sights we returned back late afternoon to find nothing had been done to our room. We departed on day three and my wife checked under the bed to make sure that nothing was left behind. There were someone’s dirty clothes (underwear) and a very lot of dirt and dust underneath. We were disgusted! The restaurant staff were RUDE. The room was disgusting. The food was mediocre at best. Definitely will never recommend or revisit.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean, breakfast was delicious and the in room fireplaces divine. The weather was perfect which only made things better. Our hosts were friendly, helpful but not intrusive. It was simply a great trip.

Beautiful picturesque grounds on the side of a mountain. The inn is quaint nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and the restaurant menus is excellent.

Extremely peaceful, staff we interacted with were very helpful and accommodating but only there on limited basis. Only problem was the main house was not available for use, only drinks available was coffee from a Keureg in common area of carriage house that had to be filled by guests. For us it was the exact quiet place we wanted with exception of no food or drink available.

Snowvillage is a nice place to stay for a romantic weekend. It has a lot of charm and is within 2iles of Mt. Foss. It has an onsite restaurant for dinner. Where it falls short is the breakfast. It used to offer a nice limited menu full hot breakfast. Now it unfortunately has only a pastry and coffee based continental breakfast and only for an hour 8 am to 9am. It would be ideal if they decided to restore the hot breakfast.
