I like this place a lot. Staying here every time in Bucharest. Very central, nice staff but the biggest advantage are very specious rooms - mostly with separated living room and bedroom. There are some minor issues (furniture is rather low quality and some pieces looks used, elevator is very small and very slow) but in total an excellent hotel.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und man kann zum bekannten Regierungsgebäude zu Fuß gehen und auch die Altstadt ist in der Nähe. Zum Flughafen sind es gut 30 Minuten Fahrt. Da es an einer Hauptstraße liegt hört man ein wenig Verkehrslärm. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich. Der Rezeptionist war sehr freundlich. Ich hatte das Hotel vor allem auch wegen der Tiefgarage für den Leihwagen gebucht. Am zweiten Tag war diese allerdings voll bzw. wurden wir nicht hineingelassen, obwohl es 7 freie Plätze angezeigt hat. Die Abstellplätze sind auch sehr eng. Unsere Apartments waren sehr groß und komfortabel eingerichtet.

Kaldığımız oda oldukça temizdi. Odanın ayrıca salon mutfak bölümü de vardı. Kahvaltı da gayet güzeldi ve yeterince yiyecek çeşidi vardı. Otelin bulunduğu binanın altında otele doğrudan erişim sağlanabilen ücretli bir otopark vardı. The external architecture of the building is gorgeous, and the interior seemd recently renovated. The cleanliness and some other points can be definitely improved; corners were dusty, the wooden floor presented usage marks, curtains were wrinkled, cabinet in the bathroom was damaged inside and the mirror extension stand was quite weak and unstable. The amenities were not refurnished during 5 nights stay. The room was rearranged and the towels were changed daily, even if the services have not been requested. I must say that it was pleasant to find the room rearranged after a long day of meetings. The decoration of the restaurant is gorgeous (if old pink is your favorite color). Don't miss the vieuw from the terrace! Unfortunately, the staff of the restaurant is lacking professionalism; they are not customer or services orientated. If aproached, a kind reply was given. For the rest, it seemed they were trying to avoid any contact with customers. The location is great, very close to hot spots.

Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Hotel ist in unmittelbarer Nähe der Fußgängerzone. Parkplätze für 50 Ron die Nacht je nach Verfügbarkeit. Nicht ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Kommen gerne wieder.

What a wonderful location in an area being rejuvenated. From the moment of entry, the feel is welcoming and relaxed. The scent in the air when entering the foyer was very pleasant. The front staff were pleasant and efficient. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food was amazing and the breakfast more then sufficient. Our dinner server, RAYA, was incredibly pleasant, ensuring our every need was met. He was noted to be a very hard worker as well. We loved our stay!

I stayed here a in 2019 and it was a really good experience. Sadly this time round the hotel has gone downhill (for a four star hotel). The staff are not very helpful and do not go out there way to do anything. The rooms are not cleaned well and there are cobwebs in the room when we entered (still there when we left). The furniture are old and need updating not to mention the wardrobe breaking while we stayed. There is also no way to lock the room if you have a toddler which was also a major inconvenience. For breakfast boiled eggs are served cracked every morning having mentioned this every time we went for breakfast. I would recommend finding an alternative hotel if you require four stars.

Hotel was lovely, breakfast area was nicest I've experienced. The room was quite warm and thermastat didn't seem to adjust. Slight smell in the bathroom drains but not too bad. Toilet roll was not replaced once used. Room was really clean and tidy. Comfy bed and nice pillows. Would stay again

Really lovely apartment. We were checked in much earlier than the time stated which was very welcome as we were tired after our trip. Until we got our bearings it does seem to be out of the way of most attractions, shops, town etc but we did find many restaurants within a 10 min walk from here on our last day. Cleaning staff were a little hit and miss taking away our rubbish and replacing tea bags and toilet roll. We had no milks to go in our tea although we saw they were on the cleaning trolley. Asked at Reception on our way back to the hotel after dinner for more teabags and the male receptionist was quite rude saying not at this time of night. Most hotels, all staff know where the teabags are kept and are quite happy to get some for a paying customer! Complimentary breakfast was in a really lovely restaurant on the 6th foot. Good selection considering it was included in the price. Scrambled eggs were cold though and the bacon wasn’t the nicest but still managed to fill us up until lunchtime. Would have given this a 5* review if had no issues so could do with keeping an eye on the little things.

The apartment sized rooms were amazing and very spacious. Beds comfy too. Main issues were: lack of replacement of clean teacups and teabags; hot water in shower was not very hot; cleaning of room was so-so and our bathroom door handle was broken and when we flagged it they said they would fix it but it never got fixed. Location is excellent but just a bit more attention to detail would be good.

My suite was spacious, the rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, I did encounter several issues during my stay. In the bathroom, there were visible mold spots on the grout, and the sofa in the living room had a greasy stain on it. When I first entered the suite, the air felt somewhat stale and had an unpleasant odor. A more serious problem occurred on my second night: it was extremely difficult to fall asleep because the guest in the neighboring room was snoring loudly. The sound carried through the wall so clearly that I could even record it on my phone. I reported the issue to the reception, but since the hotel was fully booked, they were unable to offer a different room. Eventually, at around 1 a.m., I had no choice but to knock on the neighbor’s door to wake them up, just to have a chance to sleep. This situation was not the fault of the reception staff or the guest themselves, but rather a consequence of insufficient soundproofing. Additionally, on both mornings I was woken up by doors slamming in the corridor, and the blackout curtains unfortunately did not provide full darkness either. I hope this feedback helps in improving the overall guest experience.

Great location. Walking distance to Old Town, museums, Atheneum and more. On a main bus route so getting about is easy. Next to a really nice park. We booked a suite, which ended up being a whole apartment. Great value. Spotlessly clean but hot water took a while to come through (except the shower which got up to temp quickly) and there were a few dents and dings, but generally we were happy with our 6 nights. Great location. Walking distance to Old Town, museums, Atheneum and more. On a main bus route so getting about is easy. Next to a really nice park. We booked a suite, which ended up being a whole apartment. Great value. Spotlessly clean but hot water took a while to come through (except the shower which got up to temp quickly) and there were a few dents and dings, but generally we were happy with our 6 nights. the suite was nice and spacious, but the furniture was a bit worn and could use remodeling. Staff was ok, not the most friendly people, especially at breakfast, but all went well. breakfast itself is a bit modest: not many sweet options, no almond/soy/oat milk options, eggs were often cold.

Nice suite with everything I needed. Only problem was a poor mattress. This was promptly handled after I reported my miserable first night of sleep. Breakfast was very good and in a very pleasant space. The area around the hotel has some individuals sleeping and begging on the streets, along with considerable graffiti, but feels overall fairly safe..at least during the day. I didn’t go wander about after dark.

My suite was spacious, the rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, I did encounter several issues during my stay. In the bathroom, there were visible mold spots on the grout, and the sofa in the living room had a greasy stain on it. When I first entered the suite, the air felt somewhat stale and had an unpleasant odor. A more serious problem occurred on my second night: it was extremely difficult to fall asleep because the guest in the neighboring room was snoring loudly. The sound carried through the wall so clearly that I could even record it on my phone. I reported the issue to the reception, but since the hotel was fully booked, they were unable to offer a different room. Eventually, at around 1 a.m., I had no choice but to knock on the neighbor’s door to wake them up, just to have a chance to sleep. This situation was not the fault of the reception staff or the guest themselves, but rather a consequence of insufficient soundproofing. Additionally, on both mornings I was woken up by doors slamming in the corridor, and the blackout curtains unfortunately did not provide full darkness either. Hotel is nice and the rooms are big. Breakfast buffet room is lovely but the options food are more limited than other hotels we visitâtes in Romania. It gets quite noisy at night (partying on the street) if you want to sleep with the windows open. The guests in the room next to ours were also slamming doors constantly and yelling well past 2:30am (the doors are very noisy if you don’t hold them when they close). The apartments are definitely not soundproof. (we did not contact the overnight hotel staff about this issue)

Really lovely apartment. We were checked in much earlier than the time stated which was very welcome as we were tired after our trip. Until we got our bearings it does seem to be out of the way of most attractions, shops, town etc but we did find many restaurants within a 10 min walk from here on our last day. Cleaning staff were a little hit and miss taking away our rubbish and replacing tea bags and toilet roll. We had no milks to go in our tea although we saw they were on the cleaning trolley. Asked at Reception on our way back to the hotel after dinner for more teabags and the male receptionist was quite rude saying not at this time of night. Most hotels, all staff know where the teabags are kept and are quite happy to get some for a paying customer! Complimentary breakfast was in a really lovely restaurant on the 6th foot. Good selection considering it was included in the price. Scrambled eggs were cold though and the bacon wasn’t the nicest but still managed to fill us up until lunchtime. Would have given this a 5* review if had no issues so could do with keeping an eye on the little things.

The external architecture of the building is gorgeous, and the interior seemd recently renovated. The cleanliness and some other points can be definitely improved; corners were dusty, the wooden floor presented usage marks, curtains were wrinkled, cabinet in the bathroom was damaged inside and the mirror extension stand was quite weak and unstable. The amenities were not refurnished during 5 nights stay. The room was rearranged and the towels were changed daily, even if the services have not been requested. I must say that it was pleasant to find the room rearranged after a long day of meetings. The decoration of the restaurant is gorgeous (if old pink is your favorite color). Don't miss the vieuw from the terrace! Unfortunately, the staff of the restaurant is lacking professionalism; they are not customer or services orientated. If aproached, a kind reply was given. For the rest, it seemed they were trying to avoid any contact with customers. The location is great, very close to hot spots.

Chose to stay here for the fourth time as the facilities are great and within walking distance of all the local hotspots. The staff are friendly and attentive dealing with issues quickly and efficiently. Would not hesitate to stay here again on next visit 😊

A wonderful hotel, the staff were diligent and helpful and very accommodating to children, will definitely stay here again. Parking was straight forward and the rooms were immaculate, such a pleasure to stay here - we went back again during our time in Romania. Thank you!

The Hotel Cismigiu is a wonderful place to stay in Bucharest. It is very centrally located, within a 10 minute walk to the old town that is full of restaurants, bars and also some of the main sites to visit in Bucharest. Additionally, the metro station is nearby the hotel and this will allow you to easily get around to the not so centrally located Bucharest touristic sites. The rooms in the hotel are actually nice sized one bedroom apartments, with a good size living room/dining room/full kitchen. This is a very pleasant and comfortable place to stay in Bucharest and this is my third time staying in this property as a tourist. Furthermore, the breakfasts are wonderful and they are offered in the dining area on the top floor of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location great, not in the old time but only 5 /10 mins walk, felt safe. Bucharest is a very walkable city, in my opinion. Staff friendly and efficient. Room with separate lounge/kitchen all clean, tidy and comfortable. Bed and pillows very comfortable.

The hotel was well located, the room was excellent and was very clean. However, the breakfast and the service were terrible. When we arrived on day 1 we took our own seats as staff were just looking on. No offer of tea or coffee just a small machine that produced half a cup. No cereal, no fruit salad, no gluten free options and the cooked food was congealed. Unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. Also such a shame as otherwise the hotel was great

We had a lovely 5 night stay here. The room was clean, spacious (we had a 1 bedroom suite), the bed was comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located, a short walking distance to old town. I read the negative reviews about the breakfast but I thought it was fine. I am perfectly happy with coffee, juice and a croissant, so I’m probably not the best person to review the breakfast. The only negative (which is so minor), is that having a dish towel in the kitchenette would have been helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

A hotel with great history. Good shape, a little bit "old fashioned", but perfect for some days in Bukarest. Near the hot spots, everything you can do by walking. A modern Wine Bar in the groudfloor of the hotel; perfect for finishing the day. I liked it.

The staff is very helpful and the rooms are nice and big. Good to have a small kitchen and an extra room. Great location near to many good places to eat and drink. Took a run in the park near the hotel felt safe to do that alone. Definitely a place I will choose if I come back.
