We stayed at this beautiful oasis for only a night and wish we were here longer. We were greeted by Eric who was pleasant, accommodating and gave us some great recommendations for food in the area. The pool area was well maintained and clean. The rooms were large and overlooked the pool area; the room had working air condition and was very quiet so we slept well. It was a one minute walk to the beach and the strip was right there with ample restaurants and shops. There was parking as well which made things easy. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were delicious! Thanks for having us and we hope to be back one day!

Great location! Only a block to the beautiful beach for daily walks. Easy walk to stores, grocery and restaurants. Property and unit was very nice, well kept property. Pool and sound of waterfall very relaxing. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Great find!

Great location in Jaco - just a minute’s walk from the beach. Beautiful plants & trees & flowers in the hotel grounds. A lovely pool to cool off in. The room was nice & clean & breakfast was lovely. The staff are very friendly & helpful.

Ordentliches Hotel. Großes Zimmer mit Klima. Bad ohne Ablagen, kein Fön. Eigentlich war alles sehr sauber, bis auf das Problem mit der Toilettenspülung. Diese war sofort verstopft und wurde trotz unseres Hinweises nicht repariert. Der Pool ist sehr schön. Das Auto steht sicher auf dem Gelände. Frühstück ist sehr einfach. Der Strand (steinig und dreckig) ist schnell zu Fuß erreicht.

Negatives: The room had a sewer odor that did not go away. The TV did not work. There was no hot water. A dog barked all night. You can hear everything in the next room from inside the room. No curtain on a window that faces the rear of the building where anyone can see in. Positives: nice breakfast delivered to your room in the morning for free. Very large room. Cozy balcony to sit out on. Very close to the beach. You can walk to everything from this location.

Clean, friendly people, beautiful property and a great pool. Very good breakfast too. Perfect location for the beach and shopping with a lot of dining choices and shopping close by. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it.

Good staff, and decent breakfast every morning, with free coffee all day. But the mattresses are very uncomfortable, and the construction right next door starting at 6am EVERY day, and lasting well into the night was unbearable. Very difficult to get any sleep. Would stay again once construction is finished, the staff was very helpful.

Located near the beach but also in walking distance to restaurants, shops, bars, and clubs, it’s a great find at an affordable price. The gounds are well-kept and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk clerk even walked us to our rooms upon checking in! As for the room itself, it’s very spacious and cleaned daily. My only complaint is the AC could not keep up with the June heat during the day. We had to leave the room by 10am, which didn’t bother us. It was a great excuse to get out and explore Jaco!

I’m not sure how to review this place because the information provided by Expedia concerning the room was completely different from reality. The apartment was listed as having a separate bedroom. It did not. It was also supposed to have premium bedding, a rain shower shower head, a garden view, toiletries. It had none of these. The staff tried hard to provide a more comfy bed by getting us a mattress topper. The staff were lovely. The pool was nice and was clean. Parking was sometimes a challenge. The location is great. Nonetheless, I would not stay again.

I am usually not one to complain as there is too much negativity in comments already so I am just going to share the good and bad. The good: Close to everything and centrally located. Bedding was nice. Bid kitchen with full size fridge Ac works great The bad: Beds are like concrete Shower heads either spray everywhere or fall apart No water pressure. According to the front desk only 1 pillow per person, we asked for extra and were denied. Some rooms have safes and others don’t. Overall: We very much enjoyed the area but I would not stay here again due to the amount of pain I was in after trying to sleep on the beds. We stayed in 2 separate rooms so I know it was not just the one room we were in.

This property is very good. Only complaint is the air conditioner unit secured to the building on my unit. It was very loud at night it had a vibrating noise and kept waking me up. Water pressure in the shower was extremely low it was hard to take a decent shower. The bathroom sink had lots of pressure. Staff were amazing

Las instalaciones son un poco viejas, al ser de madera en su mayoria la privacidad es complicada. sabanas incomodas diria que hasta rasposas en mi caso. bannos pquennos. para una noche esta pasable pero no mas. creo que el joven que me atendio fue un poco grosero al llegar temprano solo le dije que tenia reserva y ver si era posible que hubiera campo, la respuesta fue sarcasmoo burla y de mala gana decirme que era muy temprano que estaban en limpieza. lo cual por mi esta bien solo que su forma de dirigirse a mi fue molesta. con decir no por ahora no hay habitaciones era suficiente. Lo bueno - aire acondicionados nuevo y funcional - cerca de la playa a unos pasos y a basicamente del centro de jaco

The location is great. Walkable to the beach and to the Main Street vendors. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, which was to be expected since we were early. They did let us use the pool until we could check in which is nice, but would not supply towels, even when asked. They then gave us the wrong room. We are 4 adults and booked a room with a queen and 2 twin beds. They originally gave us two doubles but did move us when I talked to them at the reception. Even though we had to pay extra for 4 adults to share a room, room only has two towels! The pool is nice and deep, with a lot of rules to make sure there is no fun. Lol

Good staff, and decent breakfast every morning, with free coffee all day. But the mattresses are very uncomfortable, and the construction right next door starting at 6am EVERY day, and lasting well into the night was unbearable. Very difficult to get any sleep. Would stay again once construction is finished, the staff was very helpful.

We stayed at this beautiful oasis for only a night and wish we were here longer. We were greeted by Eric who was pleasant, accommodating and gave us some great recommendations for food in the area. The pool area was well maintained and clean. The rooms were large and overlooked the pool area; the room had working air condition and was very quiet so we slept well. It was a one minute walk to the beach and the strip was right there with ample restaurants and shops. There was parking as well which made things easy. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were delicious! Thanks for having us and we hope to be back one day!

The ocean was a 5 minute at most walk from the hotel. Hotel is in the best location for beach and restaurants and shops. Great breakfast traditional or fruit and pancakes. Staff super friendly. Would return in a heartbeat.

For us it was a great location, close to the beach and to the main street with plenty of options for food, and shopping. The staff were awesome and very professional. The work site next door isnt ideal, it was noisy, but we got used to it.

Great location! Only a block to the beautiful beach for daily walks. Easy walk to stores, grocery and restaurants. Property and unit was very nice, well kept property. Pool and sound of waterfall very relaxing. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Great find!

Great location in Jaco - just a minute’s walk from the beach. Beautiful plants & trees & flowers in the hotel grounds. A lovely pool to cool off in. The room was nice & clean & breakfast was lovely. The staff are very friendly & helpful.

Wonderful staff and very nice accommodations. A few minor repairs needed but nothing significant. Very close to the beach. Noisy due to construction of condominiums adjacent to the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Excelente trato , la ubicación buena . Solo que no dicen que no tienen restaurante , el desayuno lo llevan a tu cuarto y lo cocinan en otro lado , solo dos opciones a escoger

What a great stay. Staff was very attentive and accommodated our breakfast choices each day. Pool was great and maintained well. Grounds well-kept; work was being done on them constantly. Easy check in process. Great location.

Clean, friendly people, beautiful property and a great pool. Very good breakfast too. Perfect location for the beach and shopping with a lot of dining choices and shopping close by. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it.

The staff (Jason, Eric, Maricel, and Santa Elena) were very helpful - they helped us know what time was best to go to the beach (Jacó has strong waves, 10 am is good though, but wear sunscreen), helped us when we accidentally got locked out of the hotel room, and also let us keep our luggage in the office (we arrived early and wanted to walk on the beach while we waited for check in). The pool was great and A/C is a must in Jacó, so I was glad they had A/C. Our room was cleaned each day and towels were provided. I think they have beach towels to rent, but we brought our own. The breakfast was good and the cook is friendly. I had pancakes with strawberries and eggs. The hotel was quiet and the landscaping is pretty. We saw an iguana on the grounds. We were about a two minute walk from the beach. If you go to Jacó, we recommend trying the smash burgers from Star Burger nearby. Also, Pachi’s bakery has good empanadas and the Frutería El Pueblo has nice staff that cut up fruit for you to try. These were all within walking distance for us. Horizon church is also within walking distance, though a little far. They have fun activities like Bible study and even a burrito ministry, I highly recommend that you check them out. We rode the Transportes Jacó bus from Terminal Atlantico Norte in San José. It cost about $7 per person each way, which is a good deal. The bus on the way to Jacó had A/C, which was nice. Anyway, if you go to Jacó, I hope you go to Hotel Los Ranchos!

Can’t beet the free breakfast, the rooms are very spacious I travel with wife and two kids and having three beds was great. The pool was good to cool down. Overall is great for the price. The beach is a minute walk the waves are very high but we drove to near by beaches which are more calm to swim. Mantas beach, Herradura beach and Playa Blanca. The only negative I see is there is no pool towels you will have to pay.

El hotel es muy bonito. Muy cerca del mar. La piscina es bonita y agradable. Pueden mejorar un poco el trato del personal con los huéspedes y es necesario que renueven los AC de las habitaciones. Fuera de eso, todo bien. Lo recomiendo.
