This is a really nice place. The owner is so friendly and helpful. It was so nice to be near the water and watch the sunset. There was a nice pool and hot tub, both super clean. He definitely takes pride in his Auberge. Note there are no food services here though, so cyclists nedd to go back to Nominingue (2.8km) for meals.

Avoir su je n’aurais pas réserver à cet Auberge. Le logement était sale, le spa froid, les drap du divant lit pas changé, on c’est fait marcher sur la tête jusqu’à 1h du matin. Les seuls points positifs de cet auberge son la piscine qui avait l’air bien mais nous ne l’avons pas essayé car il fessait trop froid et le couché du soleil était incroyable. Pour le prix j’ai eu l’impression de me faire arnaqué…

This was the perfect stop on our bike trip on Le P’tit Train du Nord it’s right on the trail and right on the lake. The views are stunning, the proprietor friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable after a long day of cycling. Hot tub,sauna,pool, safe and covered bike storage all made this a great stop.

Beautiful property. Yvon is a great host. Explained the history of the property to us. Took time to show us around. Comfortable bed and room. Great view of the lake from the upper deck. Perfect view of the sunset. Used the BBQ and outdoor stove…nice feature. Hot tub was a nice way to end the night after a day on the bike trail. Highly recommend.

Le premier élement qu'on peut observer en arrivant, c'est un accueil poussiéreux, pêle-mêle avec une forte odeur nauséabonde de fumée. Les chambres sont vieillotes, limite en terme d'hygiène et dégage une odeur de cendrier macéré. La terrasse est magnifique, superbe et le lac est grandiose. Il y a un beau terrain avec piscine, parc pour les enfants et embarcations. Le prix reste excessif. Si vous êtes allergique aux animaux comme moi, fuyez ce lieu contaminée ++++ de spores d'animaux. Les photos sont trompeuses et non authentiques.

The hotel building is beautiful but needs serious maintenance. The room was not clean ( there were spiderwebs, spiders and flies both dead and alive in the room and in common areas). Even the provided towels had flies on them. The rooms opened by code, which was the same combination for each room. I would have felt cleaner and safer had I camped outside instead. I was glad to only stay a single night.

À l'arrivé, personne pour nous accueillir. Dû attendre 15 minutes que quelqu'un vienne nous répondre à la réception. Avait déjà pris le paiement complet au lieu du dépôt, tel que stipulé dans la réservation sur Expédia Senteur de cigarette partout car des gens peuvent fumer partout dans l'établissement. Il y a même des cendriers dans le hall d'entrée. Les deux chiens du propriétaire entrent dans les chambres avec lui quand il vous montre la chambre. Alors ceux qui n'aiment pas nécessairement les animaux, c'est un turn off total. Il y avait un gros tas de quelque chose dans la douche, à notre arrivée. La vue, par contre était superbe sur le lac.

At arrival the lobby smelled of cigarette smoke and looked more like a messy home than a hotel. The owners dog nipped the toe of my wife when entering. The grounds were decent, however many side buildings were in disrepair. The hallway to our room was dank and dingy and the smell was awful. There was a coffee maker and hot water kettle we were told we could use. The coffee maker filter basket was growing mold! The kettle did not work. Our bedroom was clean but the smell from the hallway permeated through even with the window open and bathroom vent on. Based on google reviews it seemed it better not to complain. I highly recommend not staying here. We left the next morning despite booking two nights.

This hotel was extremely dirty. We found a lot of mouse droppings in the drawer beneath the oven, the bathtub had some areas that were dirty, and the drain stopper had mould on it. We even found used dental floss on the balcony! We told the owner about the mouse dropping amongst other issues and he assured us he’d clean it but never did. Some towels had stains and some bedsheets had small tears in them. On our second night he turned off the air conditioning (because he was cold) and our upstairs unit thermometer was reading 27 C!! It was so hot my kids could not sleep! When I told him about this he became defensive and didn’t even apologize. The owner was rude and got defensive whenever issues came up. We booked a superior room with two queen beds and a lake view. Instead we got a parking lot view, 2 double beds and a lumpy sofa couch. He claimed that since we could walk outside onto the balcony and look left that it counts as a lake view. The pool and lake were lovely and there were nice gardens on the property, but none of this makes up for the terrible shape this place is in and the rude owner.

It is a very quirky Inn, the location is great but the room was filthy, smelled like stale smoke, and we had rodents (two chipmunks) running around our room peeing and pooping on our things (including the bed). The owner did not apologize or adjust the cost of the room, or provide a different room for us. The pool and lake a great but the rooms are dated, smelly and quite unpleasant.

The room had 2 full beds only, no lake view, filthy (really bad smoking smell, cobwebs on the fixtures and mouse droppings in the closet), non working thermostat, only 2 towels for 4 and noisy/leaky toilets. Plus charged 40$ over what Expedia charged during the reservation

This is a good bohemian auberge as in "live and let live". Don\'t expect anything and you\'ll be happy. If you don\'t like the bohemian lifestyle, avoid. If you\'re looking for a quaint little auberge : avoid. This is not it. This auberge is located on a nice piece of land by a lake. But everything else is average. Bed had clean sheets, and the mattress was comfy. Some parts of the room where updated (new lights). Many parts were not (peeling wallpaper everywhere, massive spider web, black stains on the bottom 2 feet of the bathroom ceramic grout...). Standard room has a "connecting" door to the next room. It\'s just a regular door with a lock. You can hear everything next door. Feels like you rented a room in someone private house. Seemed seriously overpriced to us. The room itself is worth half what we paid. I guess the rest of the price is for the "lake premium". Lake and pool are indeed nice, but most of the outdoor furniture is dilapidated (with serious rips and material dangling from being too stretched; and that\'s before all the bird poo). Anyways, although we sometimes like casual, this was too casual for us. We will not go back.

J’ai rester à la propriété avec mon copain et mon chien. Nous avons pleinement apprécié nôtres séjour. Le lac et très propre ainsi que notre chambre (entièrement rénover). Nous avons été bien reçu pas le propriétaire et j’ai aimé l’atmosphère décontracté. Merci Yvon!

Odeur très forte de cigarette, bruit de souris la nuit, chambre devant le spa qui est utilisé dès 7h45 le matin, ce qui nous a réveillé, puisque c’est mal insonorisé. Dommage puisque la vue et l’emplacement est vraiment idéal!

This is a really nice place. The owner is so friendly and helpful. It was so nice to be near the water and watch the sunset. There was a nice pool and hot tub, both super clean. He definitely takes pride in his Auberge. Note there are no food services here though, so cyclists nedd to go back to Nominingue (2.8km) for meals.

À l'arrivé, personne pour nous accueillir. Dû attendre 15 minutes que quelqu'un vienne nous répondre à la réception. Avait déjà pris le paiement complet au lieu du dépôt, tel que stipulé dans la réservation sur Expédia Senteur de cigarette partout car des gens peuvent fumer partout dans l'établissement. Il y a même des cendriers dans le hall d'entrée. Les deux chiens du propriétaire entrent dans les chambres avec lui quand il vous montre la chambre. Alors ceux qui n'aiment pas nécessairement les animaux, c'est un turn off total. Il y avait un gros tas de quelque chose dans la douche, à notre arrivée. La vue, par contre était superbe sur le lac.

This hotel was extremely dirty. We found a lot of mouse droppings in the drawer beneath the oven, the bathtub had some areas that were dirty, and the drain stopper had mould on it. We even found used dental floss on the balcony! We told the owner about the mouse dropping amongst other issues and he assured us he’d clean it but never did. Some towels had stains and some bedsheets had small tears in them. On our second night he turned off the air conditioning (because he was cold) and our upstairs unit thermometer was reading 27 C!! It was so hot my kids could not sleep! When I told him about this he became defensive and didn’t even apologize. The owner was rude and got defensive whenever issues came up. We booked a superior room with two queen beds and a lake view. Instead we got a parking lot view, 2 double beds and a lumpy sofa couch. Beautiful property. Yvon is a great host. Explained the history of the property to us. Took time to show us around. Comfortable bed and room. Great view of the lake from the upper deck. Perfect view of the sunset. Used the BBQ and outdoor stove…nice feature. Hot tub was a nice way to end the night after a day on the bike trail. Highly recommend.

We booked a “ premium lake view room “ which was neither premium nor did it have a lake view! We were the first guests to check in for the day and I asked the owner for a room that was “ premium” and with a lake view as promised. He was arrogant, intimidating, and totally obnoxious. He said no other rooms were “ available” ( not true) and that basically I was a “ Expedia one night booking” and what did I expect? WellI I did not expect a dumpy room that faced the road. I paid top $ for the room. Then he offered me a full refund and I could go elsewhere. However, My husband and I were on a bike ride in a remote location of northern Quebec where basically only two lodgings were available and all had been booked weeks if not months ahead. I had nowhere to go !!!!! Buyer beware at this location.

The owner didn’t bother to check in our group. He just told us to take different rooms and it turned out that two of our group had paid for superior rooms and been given standard rooms. our group figured it out and made the changes. Very poor first impression.

Perfect location for a stay while doing the bike trail, le p’tit train du Nord. Beautiful location on the lake and friendly owner. Needs some updates, but they are working on that. I recommend staying here.

This was the perfect stop on our bike trip on Le P’tit Train du Nord it’s right on the trail and right on the lake. The views are stunning, the proprietor friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable after a long day of cycling. Hot tub,sauna,pool, safe and covered bike storage all made this a great stop.

Beautiful place on the lake. Room was well-stocked with kitchen stuff so we could make dinner there. Huge property that's fun to explore. Owner was very friendly. And his dogs roam around freely and are super cute. Also very interesting history. It's an old place and some parts of it are being renovated. We loved it and hope to come back.

Villa Bellerive is in a lovely spot. The building is old and in need of TLC, but the room was clean and comfortable. The pool and watching the sunset over the lake from the jacuzzi on the deck were highlights. No food available at the Auberge so we had to pedal 3 km back to the town for food.

Our group just absolutely loved this property. We came off the bike path and found every aspect a welcomed respite for the night. We had done our research ahead of time and found out there were no restaurants open on Mondays so planned ahead by stopping at the grocery store in town. When we arrived we were greeted by a sweet cat, two dogs, and Ivan. Ivan got us settled with bike storage and into our rooms. We took advantage of the pool which was the perfect temperature and some of us enjoyed the hot tub while watching an amazing sunset over the lake. While some parts of the property are in need of repair, our rooms on the top floor were updated and spotless. My only suggestion would be that there could be more consistency between what Expedia says will be charged for a deposit and what is actually charged. Be prepared for the deposit to be equivalent to one room total. Overall, we loved everything about the place. Thank you Ivan!

Premièrement trouver l'endroit est une aventure. Pas de pancarte, nom de chemin illisible a partir de l'autoroute 321. Nous avons du chercher pendant une heure. Pas de service de restauration proche rien a cette auberge sauf des cuisinettes, pas tres équipés. Nous sommes restés une nuit et avons quittés. L'Auberge nous a chargé les trois nuits disant qu'il fallait que nos communiquions avec Expedia.

Wow, belle découverte au nord des Laurentides. J'ai séjourné 4 nuits à l'Auberge, en chambre de luxe, j'étais accomapgnée de mes deux petits caniches. À mon arrivée j'ai reçu un superbe accueil de la part d'Yvon, le propriétaire de l'endroit, ma chambre était prête à l'heure. Cette dernière était super bien équipée; grand frigo, toute la base pour cuisiner, espace salon, lit king, très confortable, tv avec cable, netfix, etc. Un spa, chaises longue, un bbq et grande table sur ma terrasse avec vue sur le lac Nominingue. Que dire du coucher de soleil à couper le souffle!! Si vos toutous sont sociables, vous pourrez les laisser en toute liberté, ils feront surement connaissance avec Momo, le chien du proprio. Vous avez envie de visiter de vrais bonnes personnes du Québec, de vous reposer ou de faire des activités, vous êtes au bon endroit! Merci à toute l'équipe 😀

Nous sommes venues pour une nuit et sommes restées deux. Petite merveille à découvrir pour personnes aimant la simplicité, sachant apprécier la tranquillité et étant indépendantes. L’endroit est très bien équipé pour se cuisiner les repas, sinon il y a l’épicerie du village ouverte jusqu’à 21h et l’excellent Café du nord. Yvon le propriétaire est serviable et bien sympathique. Nous y retournerons sans aucune hésitation.

Nice rooms just off the Petit Train du Nord trail. Facility is a little dated in spots, but bathrooms are very modern and clean. Hot tub is excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

This property is very run down and does NOT look like the pictures. We requested to move from our initial room as it smelled of mold & mildew and the bathroom tap was leaking. Our new room was a bit better, however it was very dusty and first smelled of cigarette smoke and then of marijuana smoke. We had to keep the noisy bathroom fan on for the entire time and the bathroom light was on the same switch. So with the noise and light, our sleep was very unrestful.

The grounds, lake view and outdoor amenities were good. The bed was comfy and the coffee excellent.The building is falling apart and smells musty. One operated the air conditioning by plugging it in and then it had one speed- high! Nothing was in good repair. Taps were backwards and the doorknob to the bathroom didn’t fit. Outside staircase to our 3rd floor room was unsafe.
