The hotel staff were great and very accommodating but the hotel needs more maintenance around the pool and other facilities. The gym changing room and pool toilets were poor and a lot of the tiles in both pools were broken. It’s a very minimalist feel but the lighting around the stairs and elevator was very dim at night and we just used our phones flashlight. The area around the hotel is great with lots of walkable beach options and the board walk makes everything stroller friendly.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Walking distance to the harbour. Facilities were good. Pool indoor is not heated and the gym needs updating. All in all a great holiday.

The location is great with a nice walk to the marina. The staff are friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious. However the whole hotel needs maintenance. The pool had missing tiles everywhere and the outdoor furniture was in need of replacing. The rooms were very basic and not of a standard you would expect for 4 star. The bathrooms and rooms were very clean. Fine for a short stay.

Nice rooms, relaxed, fairly quiet. Convenient small beach and pool. Basic gym, nice sauna. Excellent breakfast the odd grumpy staff there but most people speak to you. Could do a bit more on recycling and have a drinking water refill station as water from the taps not drinkable and most people have moved on from bottled water /plastic waste. Overall would recommend especially through third party booking sites where you can get discounts.

Very nice hotel on the "beach." There really isn't much in the way of sandy beach here, for that stay at the east end of Cyprus. But this hotel is very nice (and among the lowest priced) with a large lawn for lounging close to the Mediterranean. There is a nice walkway along the water that will lead you to the city for a bite to eat or shopping. Ample parking and close to local Roman ruins. Front desk was reasonably helpful but not as cheerful as we had experienced elsewhere. Excellent breakfast included.

We only stayed one night. I thought it was poor value . The bathroom floor around the toilet didn’t look clean. The settee in the lounge looked very shabby. We were unable to open a window for ventilation overnight, the bedroom patio door was screwed down. The window in the lounge opened onto the stairwell / outside of building and was easily accessible should someone wish to enter. I found the bed too firm for my liking. The breakfast was good and the dining room was clean. The staff in the dining room were friendly, reception staff were helpful. The location is good, right next to the sea and the path down to Paphos harbor

We really enjoyed our stay at the Amphora. It seems to be a relatively new property and it appears there are plans to expand. We had the Comfort Suite in unit 4 and it was HUGE. My only criticism is that they don’t have USB outlets. The plugs are like in the U.K. so be sure to bring an adapter. The front desk kindly lent us one for our stay. The hotel is situated in the middle of the boardwalk about a 15 minute walk from the harbor (note: no shade). However, you can also take the 611 bus there. The 611 bus in the other direction will take you to the water park. It costs 6€ for a family of 4 to take the bus one way. In addition, there is a supermarket, pharmacy, and restaurants across the street. The buffet breakfast was great with a choice of fruit/vegetables, cereal, eggs three ways, and a nice selection of cheeses. Plus there are pancakes or French toast. I wish they included some Cypriot specialties like tzatziki though. Overall the entire property was spotless and well maintained. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. When we were slated to leave to the airport at 6:30 am, they prepared sandwiches for us to take. The kids enjoyed the pool somewhat. The kiddie pool is a bit too shallow and the adult pool is a bit too deep. They need something 4 feet deep. They also need to invest in organizing evening activities for the kids. For instance, set up a movie projector and have a movie for the kids. Would definitely stay here again.

Insgesamt sehr sauber, Personal sehr freundlich. Schönes Zimmer!! Lage des Hotels etwas am Rande und in der Einflugschneiße des Airports, was allerdings lautstärketechnisch verkraftbar ist! Zimmer etwas hellhörig. Leider wurde bei uns am 1. Tag um 9:00 Uhr mit Renovierungsarbeiten im Zimmer nebenan begonnen, ausschlafen war hier leider nicht möglich. Würde es dennoch wieder besuchen.

We recently stayed at Amphora Hotel and Suites and everything was great. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we mostly slept well. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff seemed friendly and were generally efficient and helpful. The location is ideal, just far enough from the harbour to be fairly quiet but near enough to be able to walk there in 20 mins. There are also some lovely restaurants within easy walking distance - Lichnari Tavern was our favourite!

Great stay at Amphora again. Service at the pool is amazing. Only disappointment was the litter in our balcony garden (cigarette butts and used ear buds). Coffe and milk is not replenished by room service.

Great breakfast, but no cypriot coffee. The beds are very uncomfortable and super narrow. The kind receptionist suggested some sort of cushions to cover the springy mattress, but then the afternoon receptionist said they don't have any. We asked again in few days and they brought cushions, but it made little difference. Unfortunately, we did not sleep well while at the resort.

In addition, there is a supermarket, pharmacy, and restaurants across the street. The buffet breakfast was great with a choice of fruit/vegetables, cereal, eggs three ways, and a nice selection of cheeses. Plus there are pancakes or French toast. I wish they included some Cypriot specialties like tzatziki though. Overall the entire property was spotless and well maintained. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. When we were slated to leave to the airport at 6:30 am, they prepared sandwiches for us to take. The kids enjoyed the pool somewhat. The kiddie pool is a bit too shallow and the adult pool is a bit too deep. They need something 4 feet deep. They also need to invest in organizing evening activities for the kids. For instance, set up a movie projector and have a movie for the kids. Would definitely stay here again.

The pool and breakfast were great. The room was fine, but some small things could be improved - e.g. the shower didn't drain well and required a carefully placed bathmat to stop water leaving the bathroom. The wifi is totally open and perhaps because of this is very slow/inconsistent. Finally, they do not receive or respond to messages sent using Hotels.com direct messaging so I did not have a free airport transfer from the airport as they didn't get my multiple messages. Apparently, their inability to receive these direct messages was my problem.

Très bel établissement : belle chambre et personnel charmant. Le petit déjeuner sucré et salé sur la terrasse et le dîner avec vue sur les hauteurs très très biens. Insgesamt sehr sauber, Personal sehr freundlich. Schönes Zimmer!! Lage des Hotels etwas am Rande und in der Einflugschneiße des Airports, was allerdings lautstärketechnisch verkraftbar ist! Zimmer etwas hellhörig. Leider wurde bei uns am 1. Tag um 9:00 Uhr mit Renovierungsarbeiten im Zimmer nebenan begonnen, ausschlafen war hier leider nicht möglich. Würde es dennoch wieder besuchen.

I had high expectations for this hotel. The photos make it much nicer than it is. First of all, the hotel is so soul-less and has no character. Its a mass of concrete and not much else. Which is a desk and a small couch in an oversized area. Also the balcony has simple and uncomfortable plastic chairs and a small table. No comfort and not an enjoyable space to sit and relax. The feel of the whole facilty is like a prison. Very strange design and set up. The pool area is not that appealing. The same goes the bar and outdoor seating. The staff are mostly indifferent aswell. The only redeeming feature was that the breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. Although breakfast should start earlier than 8am. A generally depressing place, that i would not really recommend.

Never got a chance to see this place. They do not have the services/amenities as advertised. I tried to book this place last minute for my wife because she had delayed flights and was arriving at the airport very late at night and alone, so I wanted her to have a shuttle waiting for her. I booked it and called about 9 hours before her arrival. When calling to arrange an airport shuttle the first person dismissed my concerns for my wife and belittled me. My wife was sexually assaulted by the “safe” Cab driver she had to get in the end. So her assessment of the safety was wrong. That person transferred me after I pushed to get a shuttle for my wife and the next person made up a new rules about what it took to get a shuttle, but then offered it for €40, which I was willing to pay. Turns out she was just trying to steal my credit card information (wouldn’t tell me her name after asking for my credit card number). If you’re a solo female, avoid Cyprus. If you’re traveling to Cyprus anyways, avoid this hotel with scammers and liars.

If buildings could speak, this one would be screaming “Run Away” This hotel looks like a building from Chernobyl; and not like a 4 Star hotel. Very little in the room beside a bed, and a bathroom. A/C not working, room very hot and unbearable. Rude and unprofessional reception staff not willing to resolve issues. Don\'t be fooled by the relative cheapness and proximity to Paphos, this so called \'hotel\' is in fact some sort of large scale psychological experiment about human suffering and gullibility," The sheets on the bed looked like they had enjoyed a long career in a particularly messy and degrading part of the adult film industry. If there is an opposite to memory foam (amnesia foam?) that is what the bed was made of. Summary: Noisy, Unclean, Unsafe, Poor Maintenance, Unhelpful Staff, tourist trap. We recently stayed at Amphora Hotel and Suites and everything was great. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we mostly slept well. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff seemed friendly and were generally efficient and helpful. The location is ideal, just far enough from the harbour to be fairly quiet but near enough to be able to walk there in 20 mins. There are also some lovely restaurants within easy walking distance - Lichnari Tavern was our favourite!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Amphora. It seems to be a relatively new property and it appears there are plans to expand. We had the Comfort Suite in unit 4 and it was HUGE. My only criticism is that they don’t have USB outlets. The plugs are like in the U.K. so be sure to bring an adapter. The front desk kindly lent us one for our stay. The hotel is situated in the middle of the boardwalk about a 15 minute walk from the harbor (note: no shade). However, you can also take the 611 bus there. Had a really nice week’s stay at Amphora. It is a bright, modern and stylish hotel and setting. Loved the sea view out of the wide windows and balcony. You get to watch some beautiful sunsets. The hotel is set right on the coast with loungers and lawns leading down to the promenade and branch access. Loads of comfy loungers and umbrellas here and poolside. A 20 minute walk along the coast path takes you to the heart of Paphos harbour and all the entertainment there. A further 15 mins beyond that and you are at the Kings Ave Shopping Mall. Loved the range and quality of the breakfast at the hotel. Only slight niggle is the amount of food waste that must happen and the overloading of plates by guests. Overall of fab experience, lovely hotel and we’d definitely go back.

The hotel was lovely as was the quality of the rooms and staff service. The only thing for me was that even though we were always first to the restaurant, whilst there was an good range of main dishes, desserts were limited in choice. Also, the 'hot' food was tepid in temperature even though we got there first.

Tired hotel that needed some love. Brilliant location but would look elsewhere until rooms had been updated. Breakfast below par.

Great hotel with super breakfast. Bit away from central drag but beautifully maintained. Disappointed pool wasn’t open during our stay. Opening dates should be available when booking as I would have chosen another hotel

Hôtel bien situé … très belle vue sur piscine et mer … chambre confortable et hyper spacieuse. Par contre, le restauration (demi pension) est pitoyable … indigne d’un 4 étoile. Petit déjeuner très commun et très peu varié, les repas servis sont très basiques, voir même immangeable. Le restaurant est excentré et donne sur l’avenue où le parking, terrasse minuscule (pouvant recevoir au maximum 7-8 tables de 2 personnes). Personnel juste poli … sans plus !! En finalité, très très déçu !!

Very nice hotel on the "beach." There really isn't much in the way of sandy beach here, for that stay at the east end of Cyprus. But this hotel is very nice (and among the lowest priced) with a large lawn for lounging close to the Mediterranean. There is a nice walkway along the water that will lead you to the city for a bite to eat or shopping. Ample parking and close to local Roman ruins. Front desk was reasonably helpful but not as cheerful as we had experienced elsewhere. Excellent breakfast included.

It’s great place to stay . 10-15 minutes walk to city centre but it’s all board walk which is great. Excellent breakfast and service was great. Loved everything about this hotel. Free bus shuttle to the airport which was bonus.

Pathos hat viel zu bieten und das Hotel ist bestens gelegen! Direkt am Strand, in der Nähe vom Hafen und viele Lokale in der Nähe. Ganz freundliches und bemühtes Personal! Tolles Frühstücksbuffet.

We only stayed one night. I thought it was poor value . The bathroom floor around the toilet didn’t look clean. The settee in the lounge looked very shabby. We were unable to open a window for ventilation overnight, the bedroom patio door was screwed down. The window in the lounge opened onto the stairwell / outside of building and was easily accessible should someone wish to enter. I found the bed too firm for my liking. The breakfast was good and the dining room was clean. The staff in the dining room were friendly, reception staff were helpful. The location is good, right next to the sea and the path down to Paphos harbor

Great breakfast, but no cypriot coffee. The beds are very uncomfortable and super narrow. The kind receptionist suggested some sort of cushions to cover the springy mattress, but then the afternoon receptionist said they don't have any. We asked again in few days and they brought cushions, but it made little difference. Unfortunately, we did not sleep well while at the resort.
