Wow, where do I start? First I researched extensively for the right place in phu quoc. I wanted a spot that was on a clean beach with direct access, swimmable, sandy beach to lay out on. This resort is located on arguably the BEST beach on the whole island. I went to bai sao and starfish beach, and while those are arguably the best mainstream beaches on the island, this resort’s beach was better. It was also quiet. I was worried our beachfront bungalow might be too close to noise from people hanging out on the beach / pool, but there was no loud noise, it is well insulated room. The only small negative with the room was that the bathroom is outside (still private, but located on a covered patio on the back of your room), so while that was fun showering and crapping outside, it’s not fun when it’s super hot or getting bit by bugs at night while taking a poo. All good tho. The service was great. All the staff were friendly and attentive. They let us hang out at the beach and use the spa showers as we had time to kill after check out before our flight a few hours later. Also, the complimentary breakfast is incredible. Omelettes, bacon, fruits of all kinds, hot and cold Asian food dishes, pho, etc - the most impressive breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. For around $100 a night I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on this island. I’m so glad I booked here and not the other places that were much more expensive and I’d guarantee not as good. Can’t wait to come back, thanks Ancarine!

Love this resort! I stayed six nights. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best I had in 5 weeks travelling. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the pool was sparkling. Had a massage which was also really good. Really looking forward to staying here again on my next visit.

Wunderbar ruhiges Resort, direkt am eigenen Strand. Alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt genügend Liegen für alle, kein Handtuch-Reservieren. Selbst, wenn man mal nicht in den Ort zum Essen laufen möchte, ist das Retaurant mit seinen Getichten eine tolle, einheimische Alternative. Abends dem Sonnenuntergang am Strand zuschauen, danach mit einem Drink die Schiffe und Sterne beobachten. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

We had a great stay. Very beautiful and relaxing environment. Nice room and partly seaview even in apartments a bit back. Very friendly and familiar staff. Nice pool and beach. Good food. Possible to rake a short walk to a little village with other restaurant.

Beautiful, quiet location on the beach. The grounds are amazing. The beach is clean. The pool is refreshing. Lounge chairs in the shade of palm trees. Short walk or bike ride into the village with a few restaurant.

Very nice private beach. Staff was very friendly and service excellent. Breakfast is average and dinner on the expensive side. You can however rent a scooter to get around the island. Free bicycles are also available

Quiet restful and relaxing in a beautiful location. Our ocean villa location was close to sunbeds and beach. Infinity pool was heaven, just the right size, well maintained and perfect temperature. Has a full body massage which was first class. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to please. Food in the restaurant was fantastic. Fresh local ingredients, well presented and good value. A special thank you to Hing for looking after us so well and making our last night so special. Thank you also to the Manager, Miss Ngan for arranging our room change and ensuring our comfort. Our expectations of Acarine Beach Resort were exceeded. Will definitely be returning.

Dream hotel by the beach. Nice large and clean rooms. Hotel awakening after the pandemic. High season is Oct-March and we stayed there in early July. A few guests. Wonderful swimming-pool with incredible view almost just for us. The sea is rough this time of the year. The restaurant needs to step up and offer a better menu. Excellent breakfast.

This hotel was a life-saver for our trip to Phu Quoc. We moved from a "3-star resort" due to poor hygiene - and Ancarine Staff and Hotel saved the day. Staff showed us a room and hotel amenities before we booked and were overall incredibly helpful and friendly. The resort itself is stunning and far better than their 2 star rating. The pool was cleaned daily and had a beautiful view of the beach. Beautiful landscaping and gardens which provided great shade and protection from the sun. Our only issue was the room doors had a large gap underneath which allowed a few uninvited guests to visit (toads, geckos and a mouse), but staff were very helpful and came to help remove them during the night. Be aware the resort is in a quiet and remote area. There are few local stores plus a very affordable restaurant only a 10-15 minute walk or bike ride away. Overall, I loved this hotel and would stay here again!

But … we got charged for a cracked plastic soap bottle that was cracked as we arrived by housekeeping, while they also managed to miss the previous tenants underwear in the laundry basket. Just make sure you report everything up front. Leaves a bad last impression of an incredible place for something as silly as a plastic bottle. I’d still highly recommend despite this!

Die Anlage liegt ruhig. Das Personal war sehr bemüht, die Anlage und den Strand sauber zu halten. Je nach Strömung wurde jede Menge Plastik angespült. Die Anlage ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber man bemüht sich sehr. Die Baumaßnahmen im Rezeptionsbereich waren erträglich. Besonders gut fanden wir die Außendusche.

I went to bai sao and starfish beach, and while those are arguably the best mainstream beaches on the island, this resort’s beach was better. It was also quiet. I was worried our beachfront bungalow might be too close to noise from people hanging out on the beach / pool, but there was no loud noise, it is well insulated room. The only small negative with the room was that the bathroom is outside (still private, but located on a covered patio on the back of your room), so while that was fun showering and crapping outside, it’s not fun when it’s super hot or getting bit by bugs at night while taking a poo. All good tho. The service was great. All the staff were friendly and attentive. They let us hang out at the beach and use the spa showers as we had time to kill after check out before our flight a few hours later. Also, the complimentary breakfast is incredible. Omelettes, bacon, fruits of all kinds, hot and cold Asian food dishes, pho, etc - the most impressive breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. For around $100 a night I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on this island. I’m so glad I booked here and not the other places that were much more expensive and I’d guarantee not as good. Can’t wait to come back, thanks Ancarine!

This hotel was a life-saver for our trip to Phu Quoc. We moved from a "3-star resort" due to poor hygiene - and Ancarine Staff and Hotel saved the day. Staff showed us a room and hotel amenities before we booked and were overall incredibly helpful and friendly. The resort itself is stunning and far better than their 2 star rating. The pool was cleaned daily and had a beautiful view of the beach. Beautiful landscaping and gardens which provided great shade and protection from the sun. Our only issue was the room doors had a large gap underneath which allowed a few uninvited guests to visit (toads, geckos and a mouse), but staff were very helpful and came to help remove them during the night. Be aware the resort is in a quiet and remote area. There are few local stores plus a very affordable restaurant only a 10-15 minute walk or bike ride away. Overall, I loved this hotel and would stay here again!

Beautiful setting , not at all crowded . Our beach bungalow was 40metres from the beach, pool and restaurant. Staff were delightful. . The resort had a relaxed rustic feel and is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again

Great options for lunch and dinner as well as drinks. Staff always go the extra mile to make sure you are 110% happy with your stay. I lost one of my AirPods without realising, they posted it to me in Hanoi with a few days, free of charge, absolutely amazing!

Love this resort! I stayed six nights. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best I had in 5 weeks travelling. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the pool was sparkling. Had a massage which was also really good. Really looking forward to staying here again on my next visit.

Wunderbar ruhiges Resort, direkt am eigenen Strand. Alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt genügend Liegen für alle, kein Handtuch-Reservieren. Selbst, wenn man mal nicht in den Ort zum Essen laufen möchte, ist das Retaurant mit seinen Getichten eine tolle, einheimische Alternative. Abends dem Sonnenuntergang am Strand zuschauen, danach mit einem Drink die Schiffe und Sterne beobachten. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Amazing beach, great hotel, we loved our stay would highly recommend! But … we got charged for a cracked plastic soap bottle that was cracked as we arrived by housekeeping, while they also managed to miss the previous tenants underwear in the laundry basket. Just make sure you report everything up front. Leaves a bad last impression of an incredible place for something as silly as a plastic bottle. I’d still highly recommend despite this!

I was worried our beachfront bungalow might be too close to noise from people hanging out on the beach / pool, but there was no loud noise, it is well insulated room. The only small negative with the room was that the bathroom is outside (still private, but located on a covered patio on the back of your room), so while that was fun showering and crapping outside, it’s not fun when it’s super hot or getting bit by bugs at night while taking a poo. All good tho. The service was great. All the staff were friendly and attentive. They let us hang out at the beach and use the spa showers as we had time to kill after check out before our flight a few hours later. Also, the complimentary breakfast is incredible. Omelettes, bacon, fruits of all kinds, hot and cold Asian food dishes, pho, etc - the most impressive breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. For around $100 a night I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on this island. I’m so glad I booked here and not the other places that were much more expensive and I’d guarantee not as good. Can’t wait to come back, thanks Ancarine!
Wow, where do I start? First I researched extensively for the right place in phu quoc. I wanted a spot that was on a clean beach with direct access, swimmable, sandy beach to lay out on. This resort is located on arguably the BEST beach on the whole island. I went to bai sao and starfish beach, and while those are arguably the best mainstream beaches on the island, this resort’s beach was better. It was also quiet. So! This hotel was amazing. Me and my gf had the villa by the beach which is as close to the beach as it looks like in the photos. The villa is big, a great sofa downstairs, a big bathroom and a huge loft with a comfortable bed. The pool was cool but never went in because there was a beach 2meter away, the sunbeds were comfortable and the sunset was beautiful from the property. The staff was kind and really helpful, the food was good for breakfast and lunch but if you’re looking for fine dining it’s not quite there. And could you really expect that much? It’s actually a restaurant on/by a private beach. The manager spoke really good English and she was super kind and helpful. They also had really cute dogs! All and all we are incredibly happy, overwhelmed and looking forward to visit again soon. Pim and Nathalie

Love this resort! I stayed six nights. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best I had in 5 weeks travelling. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the pool was sparkling. Had a massage which was also really good. Really looking forward to staying here again on my next visit.

Dream hotel by the beach. Nice large and clean rooms. Hotel awakening after the pandemic. High season is Oct-March and we stayed there in early July. A few guests. Wonderful swimming-pool with incredible view almost just for us. The sea is rough this time of the year. The restaurant needs to step up and offer a better menu. Excellent breakfast.

Quiet restful and relaxing in a beautiful location. Our ocean villa location was close to sunbeds and beach. Infinity pool was heaven, just the right size, well maintained and perfect temperature. Has a full body massage which was first class. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to please. Food in the restaurant was fantastic. Fresh local ingredients, well presented and good value. A special thank you to Hing for looking after us so well and making our last night so special. Thank you also to the Manager, Miss Ngan for arranging our room change and ensuring our comfort. Our expectations of Acarine Beach Resort were exceeded. Will definitely be returning.

The location of the resort was excellent with a beautiful view. The staff at the restaurant were very nice and helpful (a guy with the specs. Sorry cant recall his name). My main issue was with the Air-con in both the rooms. Despite making several requests it was not fixed and the staff was adament the air-con is fine. We had to request extra fans to compensate the heat in the room. Second problem was the ants. The moment we keep anything, they used to come all over. We were not supposed to eat anything in the room and clean the utensils ourselves. Also food choices were very limited.

Had an amazing stay at Ancarine Resort. The view and sound of the sea was my favourite part. This being low season means less crowd too. Hardly anyone on beach. Big pool and lots of loungers. The rooms and chalets are surrounded by trees. Only sounds are of nature and waves. Perfect for relaxation.The minus is you get geckos and insects in the room and balcony. Breakfast and coffee was good and the restaurant is just next to beach and sea. Great for happy hour cocktails and sunset. Wonderful staff doing their best to care for the guests. Keep it up cos' I will be back.
