Le Clos Castel

We relocated to France from England in 2008 to fulfil a dream of living and working in beautiful Normandy. Since arriving we have lovingly restored our farmhouse into a B&B and developed a small campsite on our land. We are ideally placed within easy reach of Carentan, Utah landing beach, and Saint Mere Eglise as well as other D-Day attractions. We have four different rooms available our larger comfort double room with a small balcony and larger private en-suite bathroom. Our standard double room has a private en-suite bathroom.Our triple en-suite room can have a king-size and single bed or 3 single beds and an additional 2 foldaway beds can be added to the room to accommodate a family. This room also has a private en-suite bathroom.Our final room has a super king bed which can also be separated into two good-sized single beds. This bedroom has a private bathroom that is facing the room. We have a private lounge for clients with both English and French television plus a selection of DVD s There is WIFI available in all the bedrooms and common areas of the B&B.At Le Clos Castel we offer a traditional French B&B with good British hospitality Located in Raids, just a 20-minute drive from the D-Day landing beaches, Le Clos Castel offers a garden, communal TV lounge and a games room with a pool table. WiFi access and private parking are provided free of charge. Coutances is a 25-minute drive away.All rooms feature wooden flooring, a wardrobe and tea and coffee making facilities, while one has a balcony. They are complete with a private bathroom.A breakfast is provided each morning at Le Clos Castel. Guests can also sample traditional cuisine in an evening meal, prepared by the host when booked 24 hours before.Additional features include free indoor motorbike and bicycle parking on site. Periers is 8 km away and Carentan is 14 km from the property.
