The Inn looks like it is on it's last legs. The other 3 pubs in Hawes all were doing a roaring trade over the hot bank holiday , but the Board closed around 7.30pm , had no food and very few clients. The breakfast in the Cockett next door was very average. Never seen green scrambled eggs before....they were rank and inedible.

Large spacious room overlooking Main Street in Hawes. Within walking distance to excellent restaurants.

Spotlessly clean room, staff very friendly and willing to help - recognised I need to use 2 sticks & immediately helped me with luggage. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast next door at Cocketts. Good banter at bar with landlord first evening. Slight downsides - old furniture, poorly fitting drawers, no wardrobe (though I didn't need one)
