When I arrived, I was told that because I had booked through Expedia, then I would have a small room upstairs and that there was no parking included. They said if I wanted a bigger room with a parking space, I had to pay an extra $10. I referred them to the Expedia website and they conceded that the website said nothing about a smaller room nor that there was no parking space. I did not pay the extra $10.

Stayed a night here due to its location & reasonable price. I wasn't expecting any flash & wasnt disappointed. Room was upstairs accessed by steepish & narrow stairs. There were tables directly outside each room with ashtrays & smoke wafted into the room with the door closed. Room was very small & double bed was short (I'm 190cm), but as I was travelling alone I was able to lay diagonally. Motel is within easy walking distance of the main street.

Handy location budget priced room. On entering it is very run down and has clearly never refurbished in 50 or 60 years. I’m sorry that I can’t recommend this place although it isn’t so bad, that if it was the only place available you’d rather sleep in the car but it’s a close run thing. If you book here with low expectations you won’t be too disappointed.

I chose this motel for its price and the fact that all we needed was a place to sleep before traveling on early the next morning. So value for money was appropriate. Improvements could be made to the condition of the entrance wooden door and bathroom architraves. The door was broken at the bottom and the architraves in the bathroom were in a similar condition. The lock on the entry door was also loose. The tiles and grouting in the shower and bathroom were also cracked and stained. The bath towels, however were soft and thick, I think the best towels I have had in a motel ever! The manager also provided us with a jug of milk rather than the UHT milk capsules, very thoughtful and much nicer!

It was very convenient to the train and town. Very tired and worn. Bed comfy and sheets clean. Carpet ugh! bathroom peeling paint and needs a good clean and makeover. Just needs a lot of love.

There really wasn't anything while we were there. My husband Ray a little disappointed that the bed wasn't a queen. We apologise also because as we were checking everything was done before we left and drove out we noticed the key box near the Office, anw we shut the door before leaving. Apologies for that, sorry. The service from the manager very exceptional and we had a great chat about cricket (both our teams lost unlosable tests a couple of days later lol). The room itself was quite good, WiFi worked and I was able to connect the TV to other devices well. No issues with the bed. The shower worked well. Probably needs a different style vent system up the top. Very easy walk into town and no road noise. A pleasant experience.

Rooms were spotless with great ammenities, I appreciated the milk provided as it was Christmas & the shops were closed, it was a thoughtful touch. The owners were lovely & the aircon worked a treat. 5/5 for a motel. Would stay again.

Rooms were spotless with great ammenities, I appreciated the milk provided as it was Christmas & the shops were closed, it was a thoughtful touch. The owners were lovely & the aircon worked a treat. 5/5 for a motel. Would stay again.

There really wasn't anything while we were there. My husband Ray a little disappointed that the bed wasn't a queen. We apologise also because as we were checking everything was done before we left and drove out we noticed the key box near the Office, anw we shut the door before leaving. Apologies for that, sorry.
