The location to the golf course is convenient if you are golfing. The hosts were kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, we were on the bottom floor and the guest’s coming in later at night and the guest in the room above us were noisy.

The quality of decor, fittings and furnishings are excellent. The staff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room with everything one could possibly need. Personally I'm not terribly keen on pre ordered breakfast but in no way did it detract from our stay. One very minor niggle was the emergency fire plan in our room was out of date as the rooms are now not as on the plan but I feel sure it is purely an oversight by a normally very efficient team.

One very minor niggle was the emergency fire plan in our room was out of date as the rooms are now not as on the plan but I feel sure it is purely an oversight by a normally very efficient team.

The quality of decor, fittings and furnishings are excellent. The staff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room with everything one could possibly need. Personally I'm not terribly keen on pre ordered breakfast but in no way did it detract from our stay. Our stay was great. From the convenient parking, to lovely toiletries in the bathroom, to the comfortable guest room to chill with a drink it was excellent and all rounded off by a beautifully freshly cooked gorgeous breakfast in the morning. We were totally satisfied and will return when back in the area.

Review for Cashen Course House – September 2025 We had a lovely stay at Cashen Course House in Ballybunion. The location is perfect — quiet but still close to the town and golf course. The room was spotless, and everything was well maintained, which made for a really comfortable stay. Having on-site parking was a big plus, especially after driving around the countryside. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, which added a personal touch to the experience. I’d definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area. Would happily stay again!
