We were welcomed by Steve and Heidi when we arrived and shown to our room which was very clean and well laid out. Breakfast was superb, quality food and well cooked. The staff were very friendly. Parking was easy and on site. The Bedroom and Bathroom could benefit from a shelf to put toiletries on. We would definitely recommend Hills Farm and we will definitely return too. When booking the room online I stated that we needed a room to accommodate two adults, one child and a dog. After I booked it a new page popped up informing me I had booked a non refundable twin room and that a third person over the age of two would be charged as an adult plus extra charge for the dog. The intension was for a one night stay at the cost that was quoted which then increased significantly afterwards to allow for pet and child. I called the farm and explained what had happened hoping they may be able to help but they blamed on the website I had booked it through and those policies and said there was nothing they could do to help. I should have booked directly with the farm! Indeed I have learnt my lesson, still it made us feel a bit like we had not been given the correct and honest information when booking at the time, only afterwards. Felt like I had been taken for a fool. Disappointed and costly night

With two dogs, we appreciated the safe and scenic spaces to walk around. The Bark Park outdoor field, with its sandpit and climbing equipment, was brilliant. Overall, we couldn't fault anything. The restaurant/food was perfect. Thank you. 😊

Lovely last minute overnight stay. Room was perfect, comfortable and very clean. Staff were so nice and nothing was too much trouble.
