DO NOT BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEW RATING - In reviews on this site and other platforms the terrible reviews mention the annex. This is a second property where you get dumped without prior warning and it is not reflected on the booking platform or in the pictures. With good reason - it looks like a school hostel room and is NOT the rooms advertised. To me this is deceitful and dishonest. It really is substandard - I would rather go and stay in a Formula 1 hotel than in the annex. Cheap furniture, terrible bathroom, poor lighting and no seating - it really is a dump. The breakfast is also not served here. I cannot advise you strongly enough AGAINST using this facility. They also charge a fee of R150 for checking in after 21h00 - again not mentioned anywhere on the listing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUESTHOUSE... Compare the photos I posted with the ones on the listing.

Location was good close to shops. Not near downtown need to uber to go places but the price was right. Room was fine could use some updating. No AC which is Africa. The safe didn’t work and even though I asked several times to have it repaired or switched out it wasn’t. Big disappointment. As ones belonging should be able to be kept safe.

The kitchen had this terrible stench - turned out the kitchen sink tubes were leaking odours into the kitchen. Although it was “my kitchen” people helped themselves to stuff. Bedroom was very basic, dated furniture, etc. it was cheap but yeah - I guess one gets what one pays for. And one more thing - when I got there at the main address (there are two guesthouses) nobody opened the gate for some time. I had to get the help of another tourist and when I finally made it to reception the excuses were very poor.

Very quiet location with great access to everything. It was very comfortable and relaxing. I recommend this property to those who are value conscious and appreciate the simple things in life.
