A wonderful place to stay, great staff and the Percy restaurant for breakfast and Spanish Tapas for dinner was fantastic.

I had booked the hotel as a treat for my husband, as he likes old buildings. I was very disappointed about my stay at Hotel Woolstore 1888. The receptionist was disinterested, not welcoming at all and sullen. The room small, but clean with no outlook. The reception dark and gloomy. On departure the reception member of staff was smiling, but sadly too late to alter my impression. The cleaning staff were very polite and helpful. As we approached the hotel there was what looked like effluent on the pavement which was not cleared up for the duration of our stay, plus an old armchair dumped on the pavement. Needless to say we will not be rebooking!

Pleasant staff

We were very happy with the staff and our room had a lovely modern decor. The 11am checkout was good also.
