Causeway Hotel

Location is perfect, right on the sea and right next to the Giant’s Causeway. Room was spacious, but bed was very uncomfortable and the radiator banged all night. The food at the restaurant was pretty bad, average at best. Breakfast ok but not dinner. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great location for Giants Causeway visit. Hotel is tired and staff are willing, Restaurant and bar were good, but I really don’t like having breakfast laid up on surrounding tables whilst I’m trying to enjoy a nice evening meal. Loo seat in room 7 does not fit and was falling off. Heating was not on overnight, so my wife was freezing. Yes it is low cost, but some minimum standards are necessary.

Clean and comfortable, directly adjacent to the Causeway with terrific sea views. An old grand dame which could use some updating, it was nevertheless a wonderful place to spend two nights exploring this part of the North.

Staff were excellent throughout, very helpful and good guidance on the area
