The stay here it was amazing. The people are just wonderful, the rooms have very high comfort, huge screens if you want to stay indoor (but who wants when the area has breath taking views),absolutely clean and very good food. The bar is nice, and they have a fire place. Sauna and the buble bath are a very nice convenience, buble bath requires extra fee and 4 hours warm up :) , so better annonce it in time if you intend using it. We managed to meet Victoria and Marcus during our stay. It is very rarely when you meet very nice, warm and helping people at your stay place. In the morning, before leaving, we had a small issue with the car, dead battery - Marcus & Co. were quick to find solutions and get us going. Definetely, it will be my next stop when visiting Lofoten Islands again.

De weersomstandigheden hebben er voor gezorgd dat we slechte herinneringen hebben overgehouden aan ons verblijf in de Lofoten. Het restaurant en de sauna waren aanraders. De kamer was niet in verhouding met de prijs. De elektrische laadpalen kwamen goed van pas.

What a disappointing experience. We booked a 3-bedroom villa and even though the villa was really nice furnished, it missed some essentials. For us, as we spent several weeks traveling, it was important to have a washer and a dryer. We first emailed the property to ask for this information but never received an answer -that could’ve been a red flag, but we did not see the signs-. Then we called and were told that we would have everything we needed, but forgot to mention that the washer/dryer is just ONE and located in a tiny room at the parking lot with hours of “operations” (for guests just between 3pm-9pm) as they needed to be share by all the guests AND hotel staff, as those are the ones also use for washing/drying towels and other hotel stuff. Although the Expedia listing indicated the Villa had refrigerator/freezer, there is no freezer, so all our frozen products got wasted. Also listed was daily housekeeping, and this never happened during our 4-days stay. Front desk service and restaurant hours are also very limited. Reception opening hours are 9am-11:45am, then closedown 11:45am to 3:00pm and open again 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Restaurant only opens 8am to 10am for breakfast (20 euro per person) and 5pm-10pm for dinner. Reception is also hard to find when first arriving. Please be aware if you arrive early (as happened to us) you would find everything closed and no place -besides inside your car- to wait, eat or use the toilet while waiting.

Our stay was perfect. The room was cozy and well designed. The sauna was an added perk. Dinner at the restaurant downstairs was superb. We will definitely be back.

Nous avons passés une très bonne nuit. Chambre moderne et spacieuse. Retrait des clés rapide. Sauna très agréable et petit déjeuner très apprécié avec une belle variété d’aliments. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel ! Juste pour info : il y avait une odeur de nourriture désagréable dans le couloir (nous étions au dessus du restaurant). Peut être faudrait-il mettre une diffuseur de parfum afin d’atténuer ces odeurs ?

The manager was very friendly but the female staff who checked us in was unfriendly and borderline rude. The room is super hot and the thermostat did not function properly. It was preset and did not lower the temperature when we used the thermostat to lower the temperature. The facility was understaffed. The front desk was often empty without anyone (only one person) and there is no phone from the room to call the front desk, fyi. Positives: The room was spacious, and there was free parking on site, which is great. They have laundry service for $20 per bag, but they forgot to run our laundry so we couldn’t get our clothes at the end of the day (usually they run it in the morning and pick up in the afternoon). The jacuzzi they advertise needs to be reserved and paid ahead of time.

Excellent séjour au bord de l'eau, chambre (suite) parfaite avec tres belle vue. Tres bon petit déjeuner. Cependant le restaurant est très cher pour dîner, ainsi que la recharge pour véhicule électrique qui depasse largement les prix pratiqués dans les stations.

Vi bodde i veldig koselig rorbu nr 1. Terrasse mot sjøen og jacuzzi på terrassen. 3 soverom med 2 bad. Frokost og renhold ikke inkl i pris fra Hotell.com. Vi spiste middag der, men det ble en dårlig erfaring da vi venta omtrent 1,5 t på maten og da Bacalaoen ble servert, var den veldig god, men krydret så mye at den nesten ikke kunne spises. Ellers et veldig koselig sted. Vi var der for 4 år siden og likte oss godt da.

Fantastisk fin utsikt från rummet och trevligt med uteplats utanför dörren. Lite tråkigt att en hel del av utrustningen i köket var trasig. Lukten av fisk i lägenheten upplevde vi som lite störande.

Finding the reception area to check in was extremely difficult and confusing. Their signs gave little clues. Went into the restaurant, but nobody was around, so kept looking. Went back into the restaurant and just started wandering. Tucked way in the back was the reception. He admitted many visitors have a hard time. Then my reservation clearly said room with water and mountains view...yeah if we really stretched our neck we could see a little of it. The kitchen counter was drenched with water we had to clean up, the couch pillows looked dirty and the floor carpeting was old and worn. Immediately entering the room we encountered a very strong musty smell. We've been traveling for nearly two weeks through Norway and this place was the only true disappointment.

Wunderschöne Lage, sehr bequeme Betten. Küche nicht so sauber, aber sonst alles i.O.! Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Ci siamo trovate molto bene. La nostra Rorbu era ampia, pulita e confortevole. Il cibo del ristorante ottimo. La cameriera che parlava anche italiano è stata deliziosa e sempre disponibile per noi.

La chambre était très bien agencée. De style Nordic moderne. L’ensemble de l’hôtel est assez bien placé dans la ville de Ballstad qui est une ville de pêche active.

Måtte bytte rom pga.TV virket ikke. Nesten tette sluk i dusjen, vann flommet over og utover gulvet.Nokså fraværende med folk i resepsjon. En alene med å ordne frokost. Tomt for ting hele tiden. Forsinket morgen kl 8.00 før vår avreise. Dyrt å bo der å vi synes ikke vi fikk valuta for pengene. Område rundt stemte ikke med oversiktsbilder på nett.Kommer ikke igjen.

Wir haben uns grundsätzlich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gab nur ein paar Einschränkungen: - die Toilette war undicht und hat daher immer wieder nach abgestanden Wasser gerochen - der Generator war besonders nachts zu laut - da wir 5 Abende dort waren, ist die Auswahl der Speisen (wir weigern uns Wal zu essen) beschränkt - die Restaurantchefin war super und hat uns gut beim Gin beraten

Overall a great experience. We stayed in the apartment rooms. They seemed to be newly renovated with a fair amount of amenities.

The apartment was perfect! We received an upgrade to a 2 bedroom. Beds are soft, the bathroom is huge, all kitchen amenities are available, except for seasonings.

Fantastic property. Has a great spot overlooking one of the little inlets of the harbor. Nice and quiet. Staff are very lovely. Room was very spacious in the deluxe room. Would definitely stay here again.

The studio was nicely equipped but seems to lack air circulation unless door or windows are kept open, or constantly running the fan. No curtains to cover the windows which means it gets very bright very early in the morning = not so good for sleeping. The windows have blinds that gives you privacy and some reduction of the light during nighttinme but far from enough.

We had the “Design Cabin”, the unit is awesome! And we enjoyed the wonderful and amazing view of Aurora light at the balcony! Highligh recommended for Design Cabin!

Absolutely lovely place with heartwarming staff. Decorated with good taste and history of that place can be seen despite the modern look. We are definitely going to stay at Solsiden Brygge when next visiting Lofoten.

Located away from main villages and towns, staying here was an absolute delight. Cosy, quiet and peaceful. Excellent service, food and not to mention receiving a free upgrade was an added icing on the cake.

The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Food was nice. Area was nice. Room was quiet. Shower was very good

Något strul med bokningen gjorde att vårt boende uppgraderades till det bästa och allt blev då bättre än väntat. Enda strulet var att hitta receptionen då skylten pekade på en låst dörr.

I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. The designer suite had a unique view on the little harbour and mountains! . Great breakfast . Short walk to a great restaurant!

Marcus (the owner) was great and gave us some get places to visit and eat at. Location is very nice, but located at a small fishing boat port and may hear and feel boats running.

Good property for the value. Great service and pleasant staff. They have a restaurant on site too with great breakfast and view on water which is a big plus how ever i didnt use it as not a lot of vegetarian options for dinner. I was not surprised as its a fishing town and i do not eat fish or meat. Otherwise cant think of anything bad to write for review. They were even accodomating for luggage w flight times. Thank u fir wonderful stay

Flott sted- flott beliggenhet, veldig fine, moderne og romslige rom, utrolig god mat på restauranten. Vi spiste hvalkjøtt carpaccio, som var det beste hvalkjøttet jeg noengang har spist, og grillet tørrfisk som også smakte nydelig. Vinanbefaling matcher godt og prisene var heller ikke ille.
