Stunning property. A real gem of a hotel. Lots of outside areas to sit and relax with beautiful views. Breakfast is served in the rooms which was a wonderful surprise but if you don’t want to eat in your room you can take your breakfast to the gardens. A very relaxed atmosphere.

Nice property, in a very pleasant neighborhood across from the water. Enjoyed 3 nights, 3 breakfasts, and a lot of time out and about in the area.

Beautiful property with very sweet owners. Rooms were gorgeous. Only thing was the dock was under repair and we were looking forward to that. But other than that, great stay. We will go back!

All host staff were amazing! Besides bringing delightful breakfast to room each morning they have a full coffee and tea bar along with beer and wine. Will definitely choose the Black Dolphin again when I’m area.

Lovely setting with Bay view, but wish they repaired the dock across the street! Patio furniture should be updated but overall the staff was lovely!

I stayed here as I was attending a wedding close by -several other wedding guests were there as well. I loved how each room was unique, staff were over the top helpful and the breakfast was delicious!! It was so relaxing to sit on the terrace and watch the dolphins swim by in the morning. It was a short walk to restaurants and shopping as well. I was driving an EV and they even offered a free charging station. I'd also flown in so having access to beach towels and chairs was a nice plus as well. I would DEFINITELY stay here again :) If you are on the fence, go ahead and book - you won't regret it!

Nice, large room with 2 comfortable king beds. Good breakfast as well. Located across from the river in a very nice neighborhood. The garden area is a bit small and can use some TLC. Overall a nice stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a unique hotel option.

We stayed at the Black Dolphin Inn for two nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The hotel is in a beautiful building, in quiet residential area, overlooking the water. The room we had was on the ground floor, and was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable, with furnishings to complement the art deco style of the building. The staff here were extremely friendly and made our stay so much more enjoyable. There was a complimentary breakfast included in our stay, and this was made fresh each morning. You are given the choice of having breakfast in the dining area of the hotel, or it can be delivered to your room. There are a few dining options for evening dinner about a fifteen minute walk away, which we found very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Dolphin, and would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great week at the Black Dolphin and plan to return. The river view, the firepit, The super breakfasts, and large nicely decorated room with wet bar are just a few of the reasons. The other thing that made our stay special was the friendliness of the owners and staff. NSB is a laid back kind of place and the Dolphin is walkable into the downtown Canal area with restaurants and shops.

What a gem! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. So comfortable and relaxing. Love the overall layout and feel of the property. Wonderful feature with bar/kitchen setting and adjacent coffee station. My room was spacious, clean and very nicely done. Staff was friendly and engaging. Look forward to going back again!!

We enjoyed quiet and peaceful evenings. We drove onto the beach during the daytime and spent our days there. The room was well kept and well decorated (reminded me of visiting my grandma's home in San Diego as a child--coastal/ mid century Dutch). Bedding, temperature control, shower, etc. were all great. Breakfast wasn't "wow" food like the photos show, but it was fresh cooked and we enjoyed getting to sit at the kitchen bar. The staff was friendly and helpful during our entire stay.

I have stayed at Black Dolphin Inn a few other times. I love it so much I decided to stay again. AGAIN, I loved it. It's super clean. My room, the common areas and grounds are all so clean and beautiful. Believe me, I will be back again.

Beautiful property in front of the intracoastal.. beautiful view and nice sidewalk for a nice early walking . Small room and bathroom but with all the necessary amenities . Confortable bed, nice and clean towels. Kourig machine in the bedroom as well as small refrigerator. Excellent breakfast with three different choices. The lobby is very pretty where you can have tea and coffee the whole day . There is a nice restaurant nearby where we love to go (Wine cork) . We highly recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast .

For the price it was too noisy Walls are not insulated for sound I could hear the people next door talking and even snoring through the wall. Mattress is old and uncomfortable with definite depressions on both sides.

The Black Dolphin Inn was an unexpected treasure! From check-in to check-out, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. I’ve never been happier to give a review. What a unique place… you have to see it to believe it. The rooms were stunning and spacious. The decor throughout the inn was exquisite. The beds are luxurious and extremely comfortable. The homemade breakfast (there were 3 choices each morning) was incredible and filling! The staff is lovely. We stayed here during a wedding weekend and knew nothing about the town or area… we really lucked out when we found the Black Dolphin Inn!

The Black Dolphin Inn is one of the best places I have ever stayed! From the moment I walked through the door I felt welcome, just like I was coming home. Jennifer was very kind and quickly checked me in. My room was quiet and very comfortable. While I was staying there was a problem with the circuit break for my room. Jennifer tried to fix it but needed an electrician. She moved me to another suite that was spacious, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious! The next time I visit the area I will be staying at The Black Dolphin Inn.

We had a great week at the Black Dolphin and plan to return. The river view, the firepit, The super breakfasts, and large nicely decorated room with wet bar are just a few of the reasons. The other thing that made our stay special was the friendliness of the owners and staff. NSB is a laid back kind of place and the Dolphin is walkable into the downtown Canal area with restaurants and shops.

Only a 3 minute drive to historic down town with shops and restaurants. Black Dolphin is located in a quiet neighborhood, so it great to be able to take a quick drive back from downtown to peace and quiet.

Less than a 10 minute drive from the beach. The property is located in a residential neighborhood with limited parkig. However, the property is beautiful, the staff is amazing and the make to order breakfast was awesome. My wife and I relaxed in the courtyard late into the night and ate an amazing breakfast in the morning. A great place in a great location. Wr plan on returning soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the property was absolutely beautiful. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins swim in the intracoastal. The location is convenient to restaurants and shopping on Canal St.& Flagler Ave.; the beach is just a few minutes drive; and there are some beautiful sights to see in the local area. We will be back!

We stayed at the Black Dolphin Inn for two nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The hotel is in a beautiful building, in quiet residential area, overlooking the water. The room we had was on the ground floor, and was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable, with furnishings to complement the art deco style of the building. The staff here were extremely friendly and made our stay so much more enjoyable. There was a complimentary breakfast included in our stay, and this was made fresh each morning. You are given the choice of having breakfast in the dining area of the hotel, or it can be delivered to your room. There are a few dining options for evening dinner about a fifteen minute walk away, which we found very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Dolphin, and would definitely recommend staying here.

Great spot, unique and charming. Would definitely stay here again and recommend. Areas for improvement: security and presentation of food. Breakfast was good, but my omelette was dumped on top of my home fries and the sweets were served on the same plate as savory. Nit picky perhaps, but hopefully well received critique.

We enjoyed quiet and peaceful evenings. We drove onto the beach during the daytime and spent our days there. The room was well kept and well decorated (reminded me of visiting my grandma's home in San Diego as a child--coastal/ mid century Dutch). Bedding, temperature control, shower, etc. were all great. Breakfast wasn't "wow" food like the photos show, but it was fresh cooked and we enjoyed getting to sit at the kitchen bar. The staff was friendly and helpful during our entire stay.

Me and my daughter came down for two nights for my nieces wedding. The property is super cute! Our room was absolutely adorable. Bed was super comfortable. Shower and spa tub was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised that they offer to bring a complimentary breakfast to your room at the time of your choosing. The breakfast was so delicious! And there was a lot of food. Me and my daughter both saved the other half for the next morning- no need to be wasteful. Eggs, muffin, croissant, potatoes, fruit and OJ! The chef is amazing. The whole staff is so nice and accommodating. I definitely look forward to coming back. Too of my list of favs for sure!!!

We LOVED our stay here. The night before we checked into a VRBO that hadn’t been cleaned, needed an emergency hotel that night, but then that hotel had a faulty AC that kept us up all night. So our next night we desperately needed a good place to stay, and the Black Dolphin was perfect. Never had a better rest. We arrived at checkin and our room wasn’t quite ready, but they treated us to a glass of champagne and a great hang at the bar until the room was ready and we had a perfect stay from then on. The hospitality at Black Dolphin is second to none, the rooms and the views are gorgeous, and we will absolutely be back!
