We loved the historic decor. The staff was very friendly. The common area with games and puzzles was very welcoming with a great view. Cookies and port at check in was fabulous! I’d definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Requa inn. The hotel is warm and welcoming, the comforts are all exceptional (our bed was so comfortable we slept like we haven’t slept in a long time), we spent time by the fire playing chess at night, watched the sun set at Klamath overlook (we heard sea-lions and saw grey whales from the overlook as well), and relaxed in the hot tub after a long hike in the wonderful redwood state park nearby. Breakfasts was simple but delicious and their homemade toast is FABULOUS. We will absolutely be back for another great stay and I will recommend a stay for anyone looking for a great place to relax and recharge.

The Requa Inn is very charming and has a beautiful common area with a fire place, boardgames, beautiful decor and breathtaking views to enjoy for all guests. There was a fridge for guests to share and even a hot tub outside. Our room was lovely and cosy. We also got cookies when we checked in! We loved it!

Lovely Inn and perfect location on the river to see Redwoods to South and North. Inn keeper Cass is fun and fabulous. Breakfast, you pay for, and is delicious. The Inn has lots of games and puzzles a great room to hang out in and meet other travelers. Don’t skip the ‘trees if mystery’ go early to avoid crowds.. touristy but a fun hour.

This is a charming, historic property. It is off the beaten track on purpose, so there are no TVs and Wi-Fi is spotty. The dining room only serves breakfast, but it is FANTASTIC. The common lobby space has puzzles, a fireplace and lots of room to sit and play games or read. The view from the hotel over the Klamath River is gorgeous, and there is a hot tub, so bring your bathing suit. This property is right in the middle of Redwood National Park, so it's a great central place from which to take day trips south or north depending on the hikes or towns you wish to visit. Finally, the road that the end is on dead ends in a lookout where the sunsets over the Pacific Ocean are spectacular.

I have stayed here twice and its amazing. No kids are allowed so its quiet. The hot tub is wonderful after hiking all day. You won't find a better place on the coast to stay. Well worth the cost.

The hotel is located in quiet remote area. Building and facilities are not new and modern, but well maintained and the classic taste was right up my alley. The public areas in hotel have many windows. The bright atmosphere and beautiful view through them was lovely.

This was one of our favorite stays on our trip through the Pacific Coast. It was extremely clean and the room was full of wonderful little details. Enjoying the hot tub at the end of the day was a big plus.

We stayed in The Post Office rooms. Kitchen floor and maybe others need to be washed. Shower water runs out on bathroom floor. Bed very uncomfortable- bedding bunches up and gets very heavy. (Duvet) Front steps slant and difficult to walk up and down and handrail not good to touch - splinters. We expected an old building but we thought it would be in better condition and not so dumpy looking. And then be charged $60 for cleaning!

Requa Inn is a gem. The building is over 100 years old, well maintained, quaint and cozy. Our room was immaculate with a comfortable bed, electric fireplace and 2 cozy chairs looking out over the river. The breakfast is excellent. Very kind and helpful staff.

Wonderful customer service. Our 3 night stay was excellent. Loved the decor and atmosphere. The owners were so nice and helpful. The only thing I did not like was the spiders in around the windows. Maybe offer bug spray. If we ever visit Klamath again, we would stay here definitely

This is a charming place to stay. Note that the building is old - built from redwoods and insulated with redwood sawdust - so you can hear everything. I slept with earplugs and over-ear headphones playing soft music and had an excellent night sleep - best of my trip. Somehow they have managed to have beds that are very soft, but it also didn’t mess up my back. It does take a moment to adjust to this property, the rooms are cozy (small), as is the bathroom and shower. I was traveling alone. If I were with another person I would book a bigger room. The staff is delightful, as is the lobby. Lots of books and games and places to sit and look at the river. Loved the music that was playing in the lobby in the evening. Not many dining options nearby, I drove into Cresent City for dinner and had a delightful meal at SeaQuake Brewery.

We had an excellent one night stay. We were in room 20- just lovely and comfortable and the nicest most heavenly bed I’ve ever slept on. I even took pictures of the softest blanket they had on that bed in hopes of getting my own. Big clawfoot soaking tub with ample amounts of hot water as well was a highlight. The ladies who checked us in were helpful and full of great information. We had breakfast downstairs the next morning and it was excellent. There were great views of the Klamath river. We opened our windows and the air was fresh and crisp. One think to note is that on the road leading to the inn, there are abandoned vehicles that look to have been set on fire and have been stripped. That at first made me feel a bit unsafe, but I realized once we were settled that I was in good hands. The restaurant they recommended was The Country Club Grill. Best burger and chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long time. It’s a total hole in the wall though. Come for the food as the ambience is not to some people’s taste. Excellent stay in Klamath. I would return.

Breakfast was outstanding. Room was small but fine. Bathroom need’s upgrading. Low shower head and no counter space in a small bathroom. Overall the inn is fine and the breakfast was really good. The inn isn’t air conditioned but the ocean air temperature is quite cool and the room had a ceiling fan so we slept comfortably.

Great hotel if you want charm. Hotel allows guests to inspect vacant rooms. Our room was the worst. Avoid room 6 (selected by Hotels.com so we couldn’t change it) Makeshift shower added to high walled standing tub so treacherous to step in and out of tub to shower. No place in shower to place shampoo and liquid soap. Smallish queen bed. But charm was in spades! Very nice decor. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. I was allowed to use a shower in a vacant room on second night.

The ladies who checked us in were helpful and full of great information. We had breakfast downstairs the next morning and it was excellent. There were great views of the Klamath river. We opened our windows and the air was fresh and crisp. One think to note is that on the road leading to the inn, there are abandoned vehicles that look to have been set on fire and have been stripped. That at first made me feel a bit unsafe, but I realized once we were settled that I was in good hands. The restaurant they recommended was The Country Club Grill. Best burger and chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long time. It’s a total hole in the wall though. Come for the food as the ambience is not to some people’s taste. Excellent stay in Klamath. I would return.

We had an excellent one night stay. We were in room 20- just lovely and comfortable and the nicest most heavenly bed I’ve ever slept on. I even took pictures of the softest blanket they had on that bed in hopes of getting my own. Big clawfoot soaking tub with ample amounts of hot water as well was a highlight. Requa Inn is a gem. The building is over 100 years old, well maintained, quaint and cozy. Our room was immaculate with a comfortable bed, electric fireplace and 2 cozy chairs looking out over the river. The breakfast is excellent. Very kind and helpful staff.

Okay I will do my best to explain the magic this BNB holds:) I was treated by the most fun happy and truly genuine human on arrival. The actual bnb was darling and had all the lovely charms and warmth that accompanies years of travelers and stories. The view from the living area in the morning was unworldly. My room was quaint and had a nice claw foot tub. It was clean and had so many small touches. They had an area by the kitchen to store food for patrons along with fresh coffee and tea station. This bnb is old, so please be aware the walls are thin but I love this charm. There were warm blankets and bathrobe along with a hot tub that was 24 hour use. This Bnb and service was phenomenal and I can’t wait to stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Requa Inn! The location is stunning waking up to the sound of the river flowing just outside was incredibly peaceful. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. They also gave us a great recommendation for a nearby sunset spot, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We’d love to come back and experience it all over again!

The Requa Inn offers a great breakfast with views of the Klamath river. We watched seals and a black bear from their dining room while we enjoyed a pancake breakfast. It is located in a very remote area so you can plan on traveling 20 minutes to get to Crescent city for dinner but it is worth it for the property.

The hotel is located in quiet remote area. Building and facilities are not new and modern, but well maintained and the classic taste was right up my alley. The public areas in hotel have many windows. The bright atmosphere and beautiful view through them was lovely.

Loved the atmosphere and the staff! Great people!!! Dinner on Friday night was superb! They have a fantastic chef! Down sides: someone kept driving a lowered Mercedes with open exhaust at the back of the property back and forth overnight Saturday night, making for a difficult night sleep. Bathroom in the room I was is really awkward to use, being more like a tunnel improv than a bathroom. Bed mattress was deformed, making it difficult to find a good sleeping position. Despite the minuses, the plus way outdo it! The atmosphere can’t be understated: really makes you feel like you are in a 100 year old building, with all its charms. They have a line of wines labeled for the Inn that are worth trying. And it sits right at the shore of the Klamath River, just before it meets the Pacific. Wonderful setting! I would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Requa Inn! It’s a great location if you’re planning on visiting Redwood National and State Parks. Our room was perfect, it had all the space we needed and loved that it had so many windows so we could enjoy the view of the river! The staff was kind and very helpful and the breakfast was delicious (although not included!). We would definitely stay here again.

We really felt like we were at home there. The food was excellent so make your reservation for dinner when you book, the atmosphere is welcoming and our room was clean. We had a spectacular view of the river and the there were tons of books and games in the common area along with binoculars for wildlife viewing. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a charming, historic property. It is off the beaten track on purpose, so there are no TVs and Wi-Fi is spotty. The dining room only serves breakfast, but it is FANTASTIC. The common lobby space has puzzles, a fireplace and lots of room to sit and play games or read. The view from the hotel over the Klamath River is gorgeous, and there is a hot tub, so bring your bathing suit. This property is right in the middle of Redwood National Park, so it's a great central place from which to take day trips south or north depending on the hikes or towns you wish to visit. Finally, the road that the end is on dead ends in a lookout where the sunsets over the Pacific Ocean are spectacular.

Stayed only one night but it was an excellent stay nevertheless. The room was great with a nice view of the river. The bed was like a cloud and wonderfully decorated. A truly memorable historical Inn. The only issue was that they only served dinners on Thursday- Sunday. We stayed on a Wednesday and had to scrounge for dinner as there was very little available in the area.

We liked the Requa Inn for its historic charm. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable but it could have used air conditioning. Staff were very friendly and eager to help. We were there on a night when the dining room was closed so food options were limited.

This is an amazing historic inn. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine which my husband enjoyed. It has an entire dining room to enjoy breakfast in. We loved the library seating area where we could read, put together a jigsaw puzzle, chat with other guests, look at your phone or enjoy the scenery of the Klamath River as it flowed to the sea nearby. Our upgraded spacious bedroom was on the main level with a full bath, kitchenette with table and chairs and our own private exterior entrance. I wanted to stay another night but the place was fully booked. If you're ever in the Klamath area, stay here and skip Crescent City !

If you love historic places to stay you’ll love this inn. There are pictures of when it was a fishing inn from the early 1900s. The floors are creaky and it’s not very soundproof but the location is off the main road so it’s fairly quiet there. The road down to the river from the inn is sort of trashy - apparently lots of fishermen hang out there at times. We didn’t stay for breakfast which isn’t included in the room price. The staff woman who welcomed us was amazing and very kind - even fresh-baked cookies were available! Keep in mind there’s no TV and the starlink internet network is fast. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Oh and very squishy yet very comfortable beds.

Beautiful location and garden. Décor and furniture to match the age of the building set the scene. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the evening chatting with other guests watching the sun go down over the river. The bedroom and bathroom were a cosy fit, but only to be expected taking into account the age of the building. There was sufficient space, just, with two large suitcases as the bed was a small double, but no problem for us, the porch and lounge spaces were lovely area's to relax. Great breakfast options at extra cost were available and of a very good standard, great service too, again overlooking the river. Would definitely recommend and stay again in that area.
