Hotel M Mount Pocono

Security lock on back of building did not lock. Smelt like pot in lobby and down hall. Dirt on elevator walls so thick you can draw in it. Whole place is filthy. Carpet in room full of dirt/crumbs. Needed vacuuming Water didnt go down tub. Toilet takes long time to go down after flush.

Gym needs to be clean . Very filthy

I wish the pool water was warm and the machines worked in the gym.

False advertising No pool

When you check in the desk person gives you a waiver that states no refunds after 15 minutes. After this time we were told there are no breakfasts, no kitchen available. There was no coffee pot in our room (2 other guests said the same), the whirlpool is covered with plywood and about 8 dead plants, we did dare the pool, very cold, visible dead leaves on the bottom along the several pool scrubbing sponges. While checking in a gentleman was changing his cars oil in the parking lot, making us wonder how many guests where actually residents. The fitness area is packed with treadmills and building supplies, we were told its off limits. The ice machine was actually gutted so no ice, with large we have ice signs in the hallway. Off to the left of the hotel is a weird set up of living areas, the bbq grill is in the middle of 5 or 6 flipped over chairs in that area, with no signs. The hallways reek of seafood buffet but worse. I counted 15 cameras in the first floor hallways. Half of the rooms on 2nd floor were being electrically wired. a weird room (ballroom we were told) that has 2 pool tables 8 random toasters 4 cameras, a broken leaning over air hockey table, and a scent of animal urine and mold, surprisingly better than the hallways smell. The mens room across from the pool had a urinal that looked, and smelled like it hasn't been flushed since 1982. There are no phones or alarm clocks in the rooms. Middle of mountains is actually a main St strip with no view. Stay away.

This property is very convenient. Stayed 5 minutes away from family, the area is surrounded by all the necessities such as supermarkets, gas stations, airport & places to eat. Adored the pool ! It serviced early ‘til later than your average hotel. Parking is perfect. Hotel M should provide fluffier pillows. Our room’s AC wasn’t the best. Overall, good stay.

Hazardous and unsafe. Watch where you’re walking. Check on your vehicle. Wear a respirator (mold). Not ADA accessible. Beat up parking lot. Could use an inspection of some sort. Shut it down! 1 of 2 elevators not working. Broken side entrance doors that apparently required key access at some point. NOT secure. Sleep with one eye open. Or do not stay at all. Better off pitching a tent in woods. Pictures are deceiving to say the least. Beware of hidden charges. Honestly, just stay away. The place looks abandoned from the main road.

The facility is run down and needing TLC from professionals. For example, while sitting on the toilet, you can see an inch of glaring white silicon between the sink and counter, and splotched across the bathtub and walls, poorly done and contrasting with the brownish tile and grout. Dirt is the pool that clearly had not been vacuumed in weeks. dust bunnies and marks in the corners and the counters, just gave the impression of management and housekeepers who just don't care to do better than "fair". Motel 6 and no-brand facility at a premium price...would not stay there again for the money - find another place...or just don't have high expectations for nearly $200 a night...

Perfect location. Ten dollar uber ride to casino. We are looking for house in area. Staff very friendly and asked us how our stay was and what they could do better. Pool was clean and warm. Rooms were clean. Shower was great. Only complaint was air conditioners were noisy in both the rooms we got. Price was more than fair. Overall great stay we will be back soon.

I wish there was a way to give a negative amount of stars. This is by far the most disgusting "hotel" I've ever been to. From the moment you enter the building the smell of piss almost knocks you off your feet. Fast forward to the actual room. As you can see from the pictures, this place is absolutely gross. Filth and dirt everywhere. I will honestly tell you, that me taking a dump probably made the toilet cleaner. Avoid at all costs. However, if you like the aesthetics of an abandoned trap house, then Hotel M is the spot for you!

I never seen a hotel have that much broken furniture, dirty, stinky as this one. Even the pool was super dirty. There were dead bugs under water, dirt, hair. Fridge and microwave were dirty. The cabinet door was broken. Curtains don’t close properly. Bad bad bad experience.

Carpet stained , the room was not clean meaning mirrors were smudged , toilet paper holder not clean , toilet has brown stains not sanitized , The rug had big brown stains all over it, there was a microwave that was filthy dirty! There were hairs on the bed! And god knows what else! They were willing to credit us, but since we went through expedia they couldn’t! Expedia says no refund! I will be contacting them again! This motel should not be on their web site!

The places are mostly dirty ans unkept. Breakfast when they serve it is ridiculous or none. One instant i smelled garbage in the hallway.

The mattress was stained ... the pillows were flat and green. The lobby couches were stained, the hotel smelled bad. The outside conditions were terrible, the hotel sign was broken, sidewalks bumpy, parking lot filled with holes. Would not recommend staying here!

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The smell throughout building and hallway was very bad. The lobby and hallway was dirty. Didnt use pool bottom had dirt in it didnt feel hotel was sanitary besides our room.

This Hotel was extremely old, dirty, outdated and disgusting. The ice machine had mold inside the ice and the swimming pool was dirty and no towels available for guests. We stayed only because we had no other option. The beds are extremely old and made noise. You could hear the springs on the mattress, and we felt very uncomfortable, and the room was dirty, and everything was very old and outdated. I wish we could have cancelled and I could get a refund.

Towels tend to be stained. Oudated decor throughout Hotel. TV is streaming free. Limited TV channel options.

Took 20-30 minutes for someone to appear at front desk for check-in. Air conditioning unit in room was obnoxiously loud. Shower made high-pitched screeching noise. TV was low definition. More sketchy than photos make hotel appear. Would not stay here again.

Checkin was easy. The staff was awesome when I requested a room on the first floor since the elevator was out of service an I was unable to go up staps. The Pool was nice. The room we got was 104 on the first floor. It was dated. The Bed was very comfortableIt was Dated. Room & Bathroom was clean. Refrigerator, Micro wave, Coffee Pot worked. The price was right for the location. I will stay there again in the future. Dislikes" Our window faced the parking lot. There was no Blackout Drapes. Walkers by could see in our room. No Breakfast. Being a frequent traveler I was prepair for that. So this is the very first thing I do when ever I stay at "any" hotel room. I pull out the Filters on the A/C and wash them with a disinfecting cleaner. But before I wash them I take a photo of the filters before and after to show management. I never have a problem. I have a solution

It was good, no front desk after 9pm have to use back access door using key card, no phone in room so no wake up call, curtains for big windows didn’t close all the way so sunlight came in at sunrise.

The hotel needs some updating. The room we reserved said two queen size beds and when we arrived to the room they were full size beds and a bit small for two people to sleep in comfortably. The toilet and the shower tub drains weren’t draining well and the sink was cracked and painted. The furniture and microwave was very old was old and the tv stands doors did not close properly. The staff was very nice and the room was clean.

Tv didnt work in room. Heating/cooling unit had broken grill with sharp plastice around it. Some outlets did not work. No front desk available from 2300-08hrs

We arrived shortly after 11pm. The front desk was closed. There was a contact number but no one answered. After trying to find someone for half an hour we left and went to another hotel. I expect a full refund.

This place looks low budget. My friend fell down the steps because the steps were slippery after they waxed it i guess and there was no wet floor sign AT ALL! The staff ignored me when i expressed what happened and the front desk hung up on me TWICE when I called right after it happened.I will never stay here again!

I did not actually stay in the property. I arrived and checked in. While I was being checked in, I noticed that the lobby was very messy and in disrepair. To get to my room, I had to drive around the back of this hotel.Go into a door that had no glass so I could not see in the hallway for safety reasons. There was no one around, and it was dark, and I felt it was unsafe. I do not recommend staying at this location.

Clean room, good shower, comfy bed. Close to many places like outlet shopping and Mt Airy Casino. There’s a big parking lot.

The hotel is semi difficult to get to depending on arrival direction. Entry way was dirty with nasty floors. Elevator floor broken. Bathroom floor tiles loose. Nasty out buildings in parking lot and what appears to be low rent housing.

In a great location

This was a place to rest our head for the night. Staff was wonderful even with the issues they had with the internet and our checkin process. This place has some GREAT potential. BUT, you can tell they are in the middle of a remodel/redecorate and the entirety or the hotel smells funny. Hard to explain what the smell is because it certainly isnt dust or construction or a deodorizer they have sprayed, or mold/mildew. There are no true dining options close to the hotel. It was a little inconvenient to get into the parking lot when arriving after dark and GPS gets confused. We had to walk atleast 2 city blocks worth of hallway to get to a working elevator to get up to our room. Not our worse experience (us walking out before checkin was done), but definitely not our best. Wasnt too bad but we probably wouldnt choose to go there again until the reno is fully completed.

Shower was dirty, did not provide breakfast even though pics showed breakfast buffet, curtain was broken & did not stay closed, hair dryer was broken & outlet was broken

The property was NOT at all what was expected. Dirty, rundown no breakfast provided which was advertized on the website at time of booking. Very disatisfied.

They really need to update their website on what's offered there. No breakfast included, game room was dirty and disgusting

The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was happily unique and the stay was enjoyable. The pillows could use an upgrade and we were glad we brought our own coffee pot since there wasn’t one and no coffee was available that we could see. But overall I would come back again and definitely recommend.

The pictures are fake the place is totally a disgrace no free breakfast. Not even a coffee machine the place smells like high powered cleaner or something I think it’s really a front for low income housing

I did like that they helped me to have a couch in the room so my husband who has health concerns could have another place to sit beside the bed. No one was at the desk when we arrived at 2pm but called for someone to come out. The beds were comfortable but things around the room were in disrepair. Also, they didn't have a breakfast which was advertised.
