Only thing I can really complain about is the small parking lot. Otherwise it was such a nice stay. They have adult swim from 9p-11p which is nice because we didn’t bring our children. They have perks for staying there with a card! It’s awesome!

My room was spacious, modern, well-equipped, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The common areas were also modern, well-lit, and spacious. My only gripe was the spa. It is heavily used. I could not help but notice that the color of the spa water had a slight yellowish brown tint, very noticeable when viewed next to the adjacent swimming pool, which had the expected clear slightly bluish hue. I figured the higher temperature spa must be on a separate filtration system from the pool. I couldn't help but wonder when the last time the water in the spa was changed. I used it once, noticed the color, then no more.

The staff was amazing in all ways. Parking was difficult at times when the casino was busy. Even with the casino and shops nearby the hotel stay itself was very quiet and clean. We could tell the pool needed to be cleaned, which they ended up doing during our stay and then it was wonderfully clean afterwards. You can catch the trolley into town and back right outside the front doors. Wonderful firepit to sit by all day and night.

Awesome hotel! We were able to get a street side view. The hotel is right up against a very large mountain side, not sure of the view from the other side. The breakfast is great, lots of choices. There is a sitting area outside with a fire pit which is great for the evenings and relaxing. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. The only thing I have to mention is the patrons in the pool don't dry off enough and always leave a wet path to the only elevator and track water. In the evenings you have to be careful not to slip in the elevator.

Close to downtown. But also the trolly stop is right outside. You can catch that for $2 if you cannot walk downtown. The restaurants inside the location are wonderful! The Mexican restaurant food still tastes wonderful. However they put the sportsbook area right in the middle of the restaurant it isn’t quite as inviting and did not make sense. We did not care for that setting. Before it was cozy quiet and more intimate setting. Now it’s bright and one whole wall is a sports bet television. In fact I was standing right at the host stand and did not realize it was the restaurant. As far as our room goes it was nice as always. However the refrigerator had not been cleaned out. There were still items from a previous guest in there.

Loved the chill and relaxed “vibe” of this property. It had great energy. The proximity to the casino and downtown was excellent. Loved taking the closely located trolley to town. Awesome town! Very secure. Downside…they said room cleaning service was only available every other day. Ok…In a four night stay, we NEVER received ANY room cleaning or refreshing. Upside, we did get fresh towels and trash removal upon request. I spoke to 3 different desk people and they said “not the usual standard” but still no service. They gave me a box of tissues at the desk to take to my room. We were gone long days and would return in the evenings to no clean up service. I realize that in this economy, getting consistent staff can be tough, but this was a four night stay. Disappointing. Not sure if Hilton properties are experiencing the same troubles.

Our room overlooked the pool which made the room smell like chlorine. Pool open until 10pm for children and 12:00am for adults. Unfortunately, kids were yelling and p!aying in pool until 11:30pm. My kids did enjoy the pool area the next morning. Did not like surprise parking fee of $15 after we booked. The hotel tried to make it up by offering coupons for casino, bars, etc.

We had a pool view room and the smell of the chlorine was really strong in the room. It does not good to run the ptac because it is in the pool room so it would just bring in more chlorine smell. Other than that it is a decent hotel with good amenities with the casino and restaurants.

Great hotel, I'd give it a perfect score if the bathrooms weren't right in front of the bed with a frosted glass door. If we get up at night and turn the bathroom light on, it lights up the entire room and wakes the other person up. It's a ridiculous set up. It would also be nice if there was a clock. Other than that, the hotel is super duper clean, the people are amazingly friendly, the maid service was exceptional. The only thing I don't like is the location of the bathroom. Whoever designed that wasn't thinking.

Very clean, great staff - they are all very friendly and accommodating. The showers had great water pressure. The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom door. It's frosted glass and every time one of us would get up at night to go to the bathroom, it would light up the entire room.

The room was nice, I liked the view. The room was not made up. Maid service wise. The bathroom door faced the bed. It had a barn door with an opaque glass, so it woke me up anytime someone used it. Led to bad nights sleep. Breakfast buffet was just OK. Staff were great.

Nick was amazing! I swear that kid lives there. Hardest working kid I've ever seen. I prepaid in full via Expedia and the night auditor who checked me out "it was not Nick" couldn't fix my bill and charged me for my stay. You would think a night auditor could fix something easy like that. I have a bunch of work to do to get my money back which is inconvenient. The hotel itself is excellent! A great location, great amenities, attached to the casino with several dining options.

I prepaid in full via Expedia and the night auditor who checked me out "it was not Nick" couldn't fix my bill and charged me for my stay. You would think a night auditor could fix something easy like that. I have a bunch of work to do to get my money back which is inconvenient. The hotel itself is excellent! A great location, great amenities, attached to the casino with several dining options.

They didn't honor our Cadillac Jacks hotel comps at all!!! Did not orivide amy housekeeping for 3 days and had to beg for additional towels. Not very friendly and very argumentative about the hotel comp. Very disappointed over Christmas. Not at all what we expected from Marriott!!! Said the would fix comps upon checking out but they have not. Would question staying here again!!!

This is usually our go-to property when we take a quick Deadwood getaway. This trip was for my birthday! PROS: Property is always clean, quiet & comfortable and staff is always nice! Breakfast was great. Pool & hot tub enjoyable. Love the convenience in & around property. Steakhouse was good. CONS: Parking is always a challenge since I drive a lifted dually with wide tires. Truck is too oversized to fit into garage & with construction going on in the lot, the search is even harder than usual for parking outside! And the $14.95/night charge for searching for & parking my own vehicle is always a pet peeve for me! Our room was missing hand towels & washcloths. There was only 1 soap & only 1 coffee condiment pack. Once we called down, the missing items were delivered quickly. It may seem trivial but we found the foil butter packets, provided with a pricey dinner, to be tacky in the steakhouse. Lastly, I’ve always disliked when staff members visit the breakfast & coffee bars while breakfast for hotel guests is still going on. When I’m trying to get my coffee & I have to wait for staff members to get theirs, it’s a little disappointing. When I managed hotels, my staff always had their own well stocked, designated coffee area that was located back of house & they would get breakfast leftovers and would never mingling with guests to grab a bite. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay!

We loved the layout of this hotel with the casino!!! There was also a shuttle that runs you into town which was so great!!! We loved the choice of staying out with many food choices , casino, etc or going into the very charming Deadwood town!

Great location in proximity to downtown Deadwood. Very nice pool to relax in at the end of the day. The breakfast was good but the hot dishes (hasbrowns woukd be great) could use a bit of variety especially if your staying for a few days. The staff was wonderful! All in all, an excellent stay.

Only thing I can really complain about is the small parking lot. Otherwise it was such a nice stay. They have adult swim from 9p-11p which is nice because we didn’t bring our children. They have perks for staying there with a card! It’s awesome!

Loved the room and option to watch netflix max or you tube on the tv. Beds were comfy. Loved the tall shower head. Water pressure was great. Breakfast was yummy with eggs, sausage, toast, bagel, juice, oatmeal, cereal, and flavored creamer was a plus. Pool was great and all the staff were super friendly! Will definitely be staying here again!

Solid location in Deadwood, but arriving on a Saturday early evening was less than ideal. The parking lot out front is shared with multiple hotels and a casino, so it was very busy and we were unable to park our vehicle while checking in. This was offset by the excellent underground parking available for hotel guests, but be prepared to drop one member of your party off for check-in and/or contend with a parking lot that can be VERY busy on weekends or other peak periods. Oh, and buyer beware...the pool opens at 6 am so ask for a room that is not on that side of the building. Starting your Sunday morning with screaming kids jumping in the pool at 6:15 is not enjoyable. Everything else was great, with clean comfortable beds and friendly staff.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was badly designed and split up. The bathroom had too much wasted space in it. I understand they were trying to separate the seating space from the bed, but it just didn't work.

The breakfast was the typical food with no taste but honestly don’t know what they could do better. I was surprised by the parking fee but you have to dig thru Hotels.com to find the extra charges so it was there. The room while not attached to the casino, smelled like smoke and if you are susceptible to headaches from smoke, wouldn’t stay here. The crazy thing about parking fee is that the parking was very limited and the spaces very narrow. Could park in lot beside but with luggage, quite a haul. The outside traffic noise was very well heard but thankfully quieted down after 11 pm. The hotel staff were a delight and very kind. The location was convenient and outside the historic downtown. We did not go in the casino at all so cannot comment about that. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities you would need.
