Very comfortable stay. Area is quiet and dining options are close by. Old Temecula is a short walkaway. Hotel has a pool that looked to be well kept and functional although I did not use it. Staff polite and helpful.

Easy and accommodating. Checked in late no problem just called ahead of time. Convenient location main road to wineries and only 5 min drive from casino makes me give it a 5 star. We walked over to old town nice safe 10 min walk. Tiny pool but wasnt there for the luxury.

The property was nice, clean and quiet. I felt safe in my room. But there should be some kind of elevator instead of just stairs to get heavy luggage upstairs. Also, there should be some sort of plates and flatware included with the paper cups and napkins even if they are paper. It is little good using a microwave if you have nothing to put your food in.

I really love the Rancho California Inn is one of the cleanest properties I’ve been in for an inn the people are so nice. They’re so welcoming. The rooms are very clean. Beds are most comfortable bathrooms are clean very roomy cable TV a refrigerator. There’s a microwave unbelievable to secure your car. They even have night lights outside to make sure the parking lot is very well lit. The staff is absolutely incredible. You need something they are there at your door giving you something extra. If you need service they are there giving you something extra. Everything is close to shops old town Temecula even late night snacking there’s just every amenity close to freeways close to the winery I absolutely love this place. It’s so well priced you can’t go wrong My name is Steven and I hope that your visit to Rancho California inn will be as good as mine was

This is our second stay at Rancho California Inn. Everything was very good except two things. Maybe it was my own skin sensitivity or the detergent they use, but the sheets caused me to itch. Sheets smelled good and were clean, so maybe it was me but next time I will bring my own. Another thing is that both rooms we stayed in had small roaches. We mentioned it to the manager and he said they spray all the time, so maybe this was in between sprays. Other than that, we enjoyed the pool and friendliness of other guests and management. Restaurants are close by and the inn is walking distance to Old Town and 15 minutes from Pechanga.

We arrived at just past posted check in time and no one was available to check us in. It took about an hour until someone was able to check us in. It appeared the room was fine but the next morning we discovered the shower was broken and would not work at all.

This motel is located within an easy 5 min walk of Old Town Temecula, with multiple dining and shopping options. While the furniture is dated and some items in need of repair (such as the shower rod and curtain), the rooms are clean and the staff if very helpful. Good budget option for the area.

Good place to stay, bed firm, a/c worked well, parking out front, 2nd floor and no elevator but good steps. Pool is small but looked clean. The management was friendly, we will come back. Thank you.

The room was clean and I enjoyed my stay, my only problem was that they used way too much air freshener in the room. I tried airing it out for several hours, but the smell was still strong.

Great location on the outskirts of Old Town Temecula. The property is in desperate need of a make-over. Nothing radical, but the room was musty and smelled of stale smoke. Blackout curtains didn't keep out the bright light just outside the window, making sleeping difficult. Doubt we would go back as there are other options nearby as well.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The room was dark and dreary. We did not get our room cleaned (we stayed two nights) and only got "I"m sorry" when we complained. I would not recommend it at all.

Staff not very cooperative. I booked a room with a king bed & the check in clerk insisted I asked for two queen size beds. The sheets looked wrinkled (used) And the room had a strong smell of disinfectant. The vanity bowl was full of cracks and needed cleaning behind the faucets. One of the beds was concave and the pillows extremely hard. The room back up to a noisy street. Needless to say we did not have an enjoyable experience.

No real issues. Upon arrival, the room smelled like Marijuana. I called the front desk and they checked on the people below us. The smell either disapated or we got use to it. Better than the smell of Cigarettes anyways. The only non-issue I had was the bed. The matress was way too firm for me, but some people like that. Overall, I loved how the hotel was tucked away in a quite space. I didn't hear any interstate noise. In fact the only thing we heard were the neighbors having short-lived sex at 1 am ha. The location was right off the interstate and a short walking distance from downtown Temecula.

Close to great breakfast restaurant and (old town) shopping just blocks away. WiFi was not very good but maybe we shouldn't be on our phones and spend more time with our love ones. :)

The property itself was clean, beds were comfortable. My HUGE concern is that they use their iPhone and take a photo of your drivers license and credit card. I told her to delete the photo and she either didn’t understand English or refused to delete it. They say it is to verify that you have checked in. The non-English-speaking mother called the son back to the hotel and he deleted the photo.( and the deleted photos) That part was corrected but the OMG moment of seeing many, many other pictures of drivers license and credit cards on her phone was very troubling and extremely illegal.

Easy and accommodating. Checked in late no problem just called ahead of time. Convenient location main road to wineries and only 5 min drive from casino makes me give it a 5 star. We walked over to old town nice safe 10 min walk. Tiny pool but wasnt there for the luxury.

No real issues. Upon arrival, the room smelled like Marijuana. I called the front desk and they checked on the people below us. The smell either disapated or we got use to it. Better than the smell of Cigarettes anyways. The only non-issue I had was the bed. The matress was way too firm for me, but some people like that. Overall, I loved how the hotel was tucked away in a quite space. I didn't hear any interstate noise. In fact the only thing we heard were the neighbors having short-lived sex at 1 am ha. The location was right off the interstate and a short walking distance from downtown Temecula.

This place is nice with a good location, small two-story building. Walking distance from Old Town and to go food joints. Give a try to that Giant pizza place around the corner. Also Alberto's tacos across the street. Walk down Old Town and one morning visit the close by Temecula valley museum. That's all folks have a good trip!

Very comfortable stay. Area is quiet and dining options are close by. Old Temecula is a short walkaway. Hotel has a pool that looked to be well kept and functional although I did not use it. Staff polite and helpful.

Close to great breakfast restaurant and (old town) shopping just blocks away. WiFi was not very good but maybe we shouldn't be on our phones and spend more time with our love ones. :)

Best choice for an economy stay in Old Town Temecula. It’s old but clean, comfortable enough and the staff is helpful and friendly. Great location for walking around Old Town, and it’s next to one of the best breakfast spots in Temecula, Penfold’s. If you’re looking for a (relatively) inexpensive room for a night or two in Temecula, this is a good choice.

Class act all the way through. Very helpful and great experience. I recommend this place for a nice quiet getaway. The rooms are immaculate and parking is ample. The air conditioning works great. I enjoyed swimming laps in the pool.

If you're going to crash here for a night, you're fine. But the woman at the front desk couldn't speak English and acted like she can't be bothered with me especially when I asked for another set of keys because mine magically disappeared on my way to the room. It was old school check in process (filling out an index card) and she called a man that I spoke to via speaker phone that did speak English. When I got to the room, it smelled BAD! It smelled like feet, and not the good feet, we're talking the BAD feet! On the lighter side, it was still clean, had good internet (once you figured out which wifi channel it was), had a fridge, microwave, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The TV had good channels too and you can sign into your own Netflix. If there's noise coming from other rooms, you WILL hear it, so just be aware.

Comfortable beds, very helpful friendly staff and good price. A little run down but fairly clean. Floor in room could use a good cleaning as bare feet were black so then just kept shoes on. Chair in room was worn and stained. Would stay again as very close and walkable to Old Town and easy access to main road out to wine country. Liked that parking was free too. Last year stayed at hotel a few blocks away and had to pay for parking each night.
